도덕과 교육에서 도덕적 성찰의 의미와 교수·학습 방안 = A Study on the concept of moral reflection and teaching-learning methods

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문에서는 도덕적 성찰의 의미를 명료성을 높이고 학교 도덕과 교육에서 도덕적 성찰의 적용방안을 논의하였다. 논의의 초점은 우선 도덕적 성찰의 특성과 도덕적 성찰의 대상이 무엇인지에 두었다. 그리고 이를 기초로 학교 도덕과 교육에서 도덕적 성찰능력을 함양하기 위해 활용할 수 있는 교수·학습 방법으로서 도덕적 성찰 포트폴리오, 성찰 멘토링을 활용한 도덕적 성찰, 문학작품을 활용한 도덕적 성찰 방법을 제시하고 그 활용 방법을 제안하였다. 교과로서 도덕과는 학생들이 삶에서 필요한 도덕규범과 예절을 익히도록 돕는다. 이를 위해 도덕과 교육과정은 학생들이 도덕적 습관 형성, 도덕적 사고와 판단능력을 발달시켜 다양한 도덕문제를 합리적으로 해결하도록 돕는다. 특히 2007년 도덕과 교육과정부터 윤리학적 접근을 강조하면서 그것을 구현하는 두 가지도덕 공부 방법으로 도덕적 성찰과 도덕적 탐구를 제시하고 있다. 교육과정에서 도덕적 성찰의 의미는 아직까지 명료하게 정의되지 않고 있다. 도덕적 성찰은 도덕과의 지식의 구조 중 하나이므로 개념의 의미를 명료화하는 것이 교과교육학적으로 중요하며 도덕적 성찰을 학교 도덕과 교육에서 효과적으로 실행하는 방안을 정립하는 기초이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper focus a detailed account of concept of moral reflection and its application to moral education in school， Discussion is centered on the characterization of moral reflection, the objects of moral reflection, in other words what individual should reflect on and how an individual should go about identifying this objects， This is followed with a suggestion of teaching-learning methods for moral reflection such as moral reflection portfolio, moral reflection mentoring, moral reflection based on novel. Moral education, as a school subject, helps students become equipped with moral norms and etiquette in their lives. For these purposes, the Moral Education Curriculum focuses not only on the formation of moral habits for observing norms and maintaining good manners, but also on the development of moral thinking and judgement abilities, helping students to solve various moral problems rationally. Especially, since the Revision of Moral Education Curriculum in 2007 the Moral Education Curriculum stresses ethical approach to social problems as a inquiry principle and moral reflection and moral inquiry as a method of moral thinking and reasoning. But concept of moral reflection has not been defined clearly till now. In Moral Education, moral reflection is one of subject structures. Therefore, an effort to define clearly the notion of moral reflection is important for successful application of moral reflection to moral education in school.
