장 필립 라모(Jean Philippe Rameau)의 프랑스 바로크 세속 칸타타에 관한 연구 : '성 루이의 날을 위한 칸타타'를 중심으로 = A Study on French Baroque cantatas of Jean Philippe Rameau: Focused on Cantate pour le jour de la Saint Louis

The French cantata of Jean Philippe Rameau(1683-1764)reached an apex in this Baroque era. French cantata is the one of the chamber vocal music, which has strong relation with literature, among many genres of French Baroque music. It was greatly influenced by various and strong foreign power of Italian cantata, and was first established
by Jean Baptiste Rousseau(1671-1741) and Jean Baptiste Morin(1667-1745). Before the advent of French cantata, at the time of the rise and fall of absolutism there had been
acceptance, disapproval and disputation of Italian culture in many fields in French society, and then divided into pro Italians and defender of French music. Under the all
these circumstance surrounding French cantata, it is greatly influenced by Italian cantata in its form and showed many similarities. But French cantata showed efforts to change
from Italian influence to have its own style. Jean Philippe Rameau was the true developer of French cantata with harmonic progress and delicacy musical methods.
『Cantate pour le jour de la Saint Louis』 is the most recent discovery by his chronicler, Mary Cyr in 1979 even after the publication of Rameau's complete edtion of cantata. It was never appeared in any works about Rameau published before 1980 even including his biography Jean philippe Rameau: His Life and works, rev.ed 1969 by Cuthbert Girdlestone(1895-1975).
This work in comparison with previous his works shows strong consolidation of poetry and music. Due to Rameau's thoughtful consideration in expressing poetic words,
his cantata maximized unification between poetry and music. Rameau's cantata is the most comprehensive works in studying French cantatas of 18th century.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

장 필립 라모(Jean Philippe Rameau 1683-1764)의 칸타타는 프랑스 바로크 칸타타의 정점에 위치한다 프랑스 칸타타는 프랑스 바로크 시대의 음악 장르 중에서 시와 밀접한 관계를 갖는 실내 성악 음악이다. 그것은 이탈리아 칸타타의 다양하고 강한 외세에 영향을 받으며 시인 루소(Jean-Baptiste Rousseau, 1671-1741)의 작곡가 모랭(Jean-Baptiste Morin)에 의해 처음으로 설립되었다. 프랑스 칸타타가 정립되기 이전 절대 왕권 주의시대의 부흥과 쇠퇴가 있던 시기에 정치, 사회, 문화전반에 걸쳐 이탈리아의 영향에 대한 수용과 거부 그리고 논쟁이 지속되었고 그 안에서 프랑스 음악은 친-이탈리아파와 프랑스 자국 음악을 옹호하는 계파로 양분되었다. 프랑스 칸타타는 이러한 모든 영향아래에서 자국 음악을 옹호하는 계파로 양분되었다. 프랑스 칸타타는 이러한 모든 영향아래에서 이탈리앙 칸타타의 외형과 많은 유사성을 가지고 생겨났다. 그리고 프랑스 칸타타는 프랑스 고유의 중용과 이성을 바탕으로 시와 음악을 동등하게 고려하고 이에 따른 음악적 형식의 차이로 이탈리아 칸타타와는 다른 면모를 보인다.
라모는 이탈리아의 시형과 음악적 구조를 프랑스의 고유한 것으로 변모시키는 모습을 보이는 것에서 나아가 진보된 화성을 사용하며 섬세한 시의 취급으로 이전보다 더욱 균현적이고 감수성이 돋보이는 프랑스 칸타타를 작곡하였다.
'성 루이의 날을 위한 칸타타'는 라모의 칸타타 집 출판 이후에 라모의 연대기 편잔자인 싸이어(Mary Cyr)에 의해 1979년에 새로이 발견된 것으로 현존하는 그의 칸타타 중 가장 후기 것으로 알려져 있으며 라모의 전기 작가인 거들스톤(Cuthbert Girdlestone, 1895-1975)의 저서"장 필립 라모: 그의 생애와 작품"(Jean philippe Rameau: His life and works, rev.ed. 1969을 포함한 1980년도 이전의 라모에 관한 다른 저서에서 언급되지 않은 작품이다. 이 작품은 전기 작품보다 시와 음악의 조화로운 균현과 음악의 형식이 함께 고려되어 시와 음악의 결합에 있어 이 두장르의 관계를 더욱 유기적으로 강화하였다. 라모의 논리적이고 섬세한 시적 배려로 그의 칸타타는 시와 음악의 완벽한 융합을 이상적으로 실행하였다. 결국 라모의 칸타타는 프랑스 칸타타에 나타나는 시적인 배려에 의한 음악적 특징들을 함축적으로 보여주고 그것은 암악 양식적으로 더욱 진보되고 섬세한 기법으로 나타난다. 따라서 이러한 라모 칸타타 연구는 18세기 프랑스 칸타타의 집대성된 모습을 살펴볼 수 있다.
