Hydraulic performance of a newly developed type PCHE (Printed Circuit Heat Exchanger) which has partially-opened mini channel was evaluated. Experiment was conducted by varying the Reynolds number of water flow in the range of 100 < Re < 800. Three-dimensional numerical simulation results are presented which is conducted by using commercial Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software FLUENT. The validity of numerical result through comparison with the obtained experimental data is presented. The result of CFD simulation shows fairly good agreement with the experimental result by obtaining average error 21%. The friction factor correlation is presented from experimental result.
