      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to effects of combined exercise training on the metabolic syndrome risk factors and arterial stiffness in middle aged women. Subjects were composed of combined exercise group(n=10) and control group(n=9). combined exercise training group have performed on a combined exercise at RPE 13-14 of exercise intensity for 60 minutes. combined exercise training was consisted of 3times per week was continued to 12weeks. The results were as follows:
      1) During the exercise training period, the combined exercise group had a significant (p<.05) variation in triglyceride, HDL-C except for waist circumference, blood pressure, Glucose as compared with pre combined exercise training.
      2) During the exercise training period, the combined exercise group had a significant (p<.05) variation in R-baPWV, L-baPWV except for ankle-brachial index as compared with pre combined exercise training.
combined exercise training resulted in markedly changes to metabolic syndrome risk factors and arterial stiffness for middle aged women during 12 weeks. These data suggest that greater improvements in on metabolic syndrome risk factors and arterial stiffness components is achieved when combined exercise training is added to program in middle aged women.
