이중직 목회자가 겪는 심리적 갈등

국문 초록 (Abstract)

지속적인 교세 감소와 교회 재정의 어려움으로 이중직 목회자가 증가하고 있다. 이중직 목회가 이상적인 것은 아니지만 현재로서는 불가피한 대안이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이중직 목회자에 대한 성경적, 역사적 고찰과 함께, 이중직 목회자가 겪게 되는 심리적 어려움인 정체성 갈등, 낮은 자존감, 죄책감 등을 중심으로 논의하였다. 정체성과 관련하여 첫 번째 문제가 되는 것은 이중직 목회로의 부르심이 타당한가에 대한 의문이다. 이중직 목회가 성경적으로 신학적으로 충분한 근거가 있는가? 이중직 목회에 부르심을 받았는가 하는 소명의 문제이다. 이중직 목회자가 갖는 또 다른 정체성 문제는 목회와 다른 직업 사이에서 오는 역할에 대한 갈등이다.
많은 이중직 목회자들이 낮은 자존감을 가지고 있다. 그 이유는 교회에서 전적으로 지원하는 전임사역을 하는 목회자들이 이중직 목회자들을 무시하는 경향이 있고, 이중직 목회자들이 섬기고 있는 대부분의 교회가 작기 때문에 교회의 크기가 자존감에 영향을 미친다.
이중직 목회자는 또한 죄책감을 가진다. 재정적으로 어려워 다른 직업을 갖고 일을 하는 것이 목회자 자신이 믿음이 없어 전적으로 하나님을 신뢰하지 못하기 때문이라고 생각하고 죄책감을 느낀다. 이중직 목회자는 자신이 소속한 교단에서 규정해 놓은 이중직 금지 조항을 어기고 있기에 또한 양심의 가책을 가진다. 이중직 목회자는 시간이 많지 않아 영적인 생활도 충분히 하지 못하고, 교인들을 충분히 돌볼 수 없으며, 가족을 잘 돌보지 못하기 때문에 죄책감을 느낀다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The number of bivocational pastors is increasing due to the continuous decrease in church growth and the difficulty of church finances. While bi-vocational ministry is not ideal, it is now an inevitable alternative. In this paper, along with biblical and historical considerations of bi-vocational pastors, the psychological difficulties faced by bi-vocationalual pastors, such as identity conflicts, low self-esteem, and guilt were discussed.
The first issue in relation to identity is the question of whether the call to bi-vocational is reasonable. The question is whether the bi-vocational pastor has sufficient grounds for biblical theology, and whether the bi-vocational pastor has been called to the bi-vocational. It is a conflict over one"s role between the ministry of dual-career and other profession.
Many bi-vocational pastors have low self-esteem. The reason for this is that pastors who serve full-time ministry fully supported by the church tend to ignore bi-vocational pastors, and the second seems to come from the size of the church served by bi-vocational pastors.
Bi-vocational pastors feel guilty. It is a lack of faith for pastors to work with other jobs due to financial difficulties, and they feel guilty for not trusting and devoting entirely to God. A bi-vocational pastors feel guilty because they can"t think enough of the church members when they don’t have much time, lack spiritual life, and can"t spend time with his family.
