『周易』의 경영철학 = The Management Philosophy of『Zhou-Yi』: Focused on Decision-Making

국문 초록 (Abstract)

논문에서는 『주역』에 대해 이론철학적 접근이 아니라 실천철학적인 관점에서 접근한다.『주역』은 역경 과 역전 으로 구성되어져 있다. 역경 은 집단행위를 결정하는 의사결정에 관한 서적이라면, 역전 은 철학에 관한 서적이다. 『주역』은 의사결정의 원칙과 철학이 유기적으로 결합되어진 경영철학에 관한 서적이다. 그래서『주역』에서 의사결정은 철학적 이념에 근거해 결정되어야 하며, 철학적 이념은 구체적인 의사결정에 의해서 실현되어져야 한다고 말한다.
『주역』에서는 조직 구성원 간의 호혜적 관계(共生)를 추구하는 ‘보합대화保合大和’의 이상을 경영목표로 삼는다. 그리고『주역』의 경영원칙은 경영목표에 근거해 구체적인 환경변화에 대응해야 한다는 ‘수시종도隨時從道’에서 찾아 볼 수 있다. 그래서『주역』에서는 경영목표는 구체적인 환경변화에 근거해서 실현되어져야 하며, 경영방법은 경영목표에 근거해서 결정해야 한다고 본다.
『주역』은 효율성(이익)과 정당성(의리)을 결합한 형태로 간주한다. 그래서 효율성은 정당성의 근거가 되고, 정당성은 또한 효율성의 근거가 되면서, 양자가 결코 분리될 수 없다고 본다. 이러한 『주역』의 의리관義利觀은 효율성만을 강조하는 현대기업경영에 대한 반성과 새로운 기업경영을 모색하는 데 있어 중요한 사상적 자원이 될 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper tries to approach 『Zhou-Yi』in the management philosophy related perspective which is not a philosophical study. ?『Zhou-Yi』is composed of Yi-Ching and Yi-Zhuan . If Yi-Ching is a book related to decision making, Yi-Zhuan is a book related to philosophy. So Zhou-Yi?could be seen as a management philosophy that has organically combined both of these. So the management in 『Zhou-Yi』must be operated based on the philosophical idea and the philosophical idea also has to be implemented by the management activity.
『Zhou-Yi』uses the harmony at the friendly relationship (symbiosis) between objects as the management objective. Such management objective is discussed by the relationship of being in cooperation with each other as positiveness and negativeness possess their own differences. And the management philosophy of『Zhou-Yi』 can be found in the ‘Sui-Shi-Cong-Dao(隨時從道).’ This is the method for a manager to cope with the specific change of environment based on the management objective. So the management objective in the『Zhou-Yi』management must be implemented from a specific environmental change and states that the management method must use the management objective as the scale of value.
『Zhou-Yi』is considered as a form that has combined the efficiency and the justification. So the efficiency becomes the basis of the justification while the justification also becomes the basis of efficiency so that these two are seen as the ones that can never be separated. The position on the efficiency and the justification of this『Zhou-Yi』can become important ideological resources in the self-reflection on modern enterprise management only emphasized on the efficiency and in searching for new enterprise management methods.
