Among the connective tissue diseases, Behct`s disease (BD) outrank systemic lupus erythematosus as a cause of venous occlusive disease. Deep vein thrombosis and superficial thrombophlebitis of the lower extremities are the most common venous lesions found in BD. We report a rare case of superficial venous thrombosis and thrombophlebitis of the abdomen, which was misdiagnosed as superficial mass in a previously undiagnosed BD patient.
