국문 초록 (Abstract)

들뢰즈-가타리의 실천철학을 이루는 주요 개념들 중 하나인 ‘기관 없는 신체’는 0의 강도를 지니는 동시에 모든 강도를 산출하는 잠재적 평면으로서의 알과 같다. 그것은 단수와 복수의 대립을 넘어서면서 그 둘을 동시에 연결하는 강도의 연속체로서의 다양체이다. 기관 없는 신체는 외부적인 다른 무언가에 의해 생산된 결과가 아니라는 점에서 반생산적인 것이지만 그 스스로 욕망들의 생산 과정과 다름 아닌 한에서 충만한 신체를 이룬다. 또한 그것은 하나의 통일적인 자기동일성을 목적으로 삼는 부분들로 구성된 전체로서의 유기체와는 달리, 분산되고 서로 차이나는 ‘부분적인 전체’로서 분자적이면서도 몰적이고, 미시적이면서도 거시적인 두 측면을 갖는다. 기관 없는 신체는 몰적으로 나아가는 사회체의 끝과 닿아 있으면서 동시에 사회체로부터 탈영토화하려는 분자적인 욕망 기계들을 가능하게 하는 개념으로 이해된다. 들뢰즈-가타리는 유기체적이고 몰적인 형식에 갇힌 욕망의 죽음을 피하기 위해, 기관 없는 신체의 탈영토화 운동의 실천적 장소로서 다양체들이 공존하는 고른판을 제시한다.

One of the main concepts of Deleuze-Gattari's practical philosophy, the 'body without organs', is like an egg as a virtual plane that has an intensity of zero and produces all the intensities. It is a manifold as a continuum of intensities that connect singular and plural simultaneously, going beyond the confrontation between them. The body without organs is anti-productive in that it is not produced as the result of something else external, but it forms a full body which is in itself the production process of desires. It also has two aspects: molecular and molar, microscopic, and macroscopic as a 'partial whole' that is dispersed and differentiated from each other, unlike an organism as a whole consisting of parts aimed at a single uniform self-identity. The body without organs is something that makes it possible for molecular desiring machines to de-territorialize from a socius while connecting the end of a socius that is progressing in a molar way. In order to avoid the death of desire trapped in organic and molar forms, Deleuze-Gattari presents the plan of consistency in which the manifolds coexist as a practical place for de-territorializing movements of the body without organs.
