      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      The study intended to review critically the process of the national curriculum revision in terms of ① revision period ② motive of curriculum revision ③ curriculum decision system ④ initiating group of curriculum revision ⑤ nature of curriculum ⑥ types of curriculum ⑦ provisions for curriculum application. The study argued such as: ① recently, curriculum is revised by the principle of `part & irregular`, while curriculum had been revised by the principle of ⑤ years regular revision from the period of the 4th curriculum to 7th curriculum, ② curriculum has manly been revised by extrinsic motives of education, ③ decision making system for curriculum revision has always been centeralized one, ④ curriculum revision has usually been supervised by government officials, ⑤ curriculum has always been revised in the point of `supplier` of education. ⑥ the type of curriculum was always complex one, ⑦ poor provisions were made for curriculum implementation. It was suggested that the future curriculum should be developed based upon an innovative paradigm and development system.
