양막대 증후군으로 인한 외번뇌증 1 예 = Prenatal Diagnosis of Exencephaly as a Consequence of an Amniotic Band Syndrome

국문 초록 (Abstract)

양막대 증후군은 자궁 내에서 양막의 중배엽성 섬유대가 태아의 여러 부분에 부착되거나 얽혀서 그 부분의 변형, 기형 및 파열 등을 초래하는 질환이다. 양막대 증후군에 있어 두안면부 기형의 발생빈도는 약 ⅓에서 나타난다. 외번뇌증은 두개 결손이 있음에도 불구하고 상당 부분의 뇌 조직이 존재하는 특징을 보이는 드문 선천성 기형으로, 무뇌증의 발생학적 전단계로 생각되어지고 있다. 두개가 없는 상태에서 발생 단계의 뇌는 점차적으로 뇌 조직이 퇴화되어 결국에는 무뇌증으로 발전하게 된다.
저자 등은 임신 중기에 양막대에 의한 외번뇌증 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The amniotic band syndrome is a collection of fetal malformation associated with mesodermic fibrous bands that appear to entangle or entrap various fetal parts in utero, leading to deformation, malformation, or disruption. In about one third of cases, craniofacial deformities associated with amniotic band.
Excencephaly is a precursor of anencephaly in which a large amount of brain tissue is present despite the absence of the calvaria. In exencephaly, destruction and disorganization of the developing brain ultimately result in the development of the anencephaly.
We had experienced a case of exencephaly at early midtrimester by the amniotic band and presented with a brief review of literature.
