It can be said that in recent years economics has grown rapidly, increasing so much in scope and depth, and the new dominance of the empirical approach has transformed its character. The analytical core of economics has been in Prices and Market and National Income analysis.
However, it can not be denied that the modern economics failed to throw light on some problems. This is particularly so in case that economic practices of entrepreneurs are deeply concerned. It goe swithout saying that in the present economic systems to study enter preneurs is to study central figures in economics. By dint of analyzing behavior and natures of them, we can not only make a longway toward the linkage between microeconomics and macroeconomics to provide a coherent understanding of the framework of economic society, but also collect some information which are much helpful to set up a framework for economic policies.
With much emphasis on its interdeciplinary character, I carried out research by resorting to sociology, history and psychology as follows: (1) Economic practices of business enterprises and entreprenuers were viewed in their complex social setting and psychologically. (2) Viewing the so-called enterpreneurship as the outcome by evolutional processes, this research attempted to probe the formation of entrepreneurship through some stages of history emphasizing relations among economic, social and conventional factors. (3) Much emphasis was given on internal organizational of business management.
This research offers the following conclusion the so-called entreneurship-such as public responsibility or rationalitydoesnot develop on itself. Usually, it tends to come into existence responding to any alterations of social setting and internal organization of business enterprises such as separation of management from ownership.
In light of the above conclusion, it is highly recommendable to establish a leadership of government in directing business entreprises in Korea in order that they might respond to the needs of society.
