중ㆍ고등학생의 사회적 신뢰와 사회참여 = The Social Trust and Social Participation of Secondary School Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this article is to inquire the relation between the social trust and social participation of secondary school students. The results show that the degree of social trust and social participation of secondary school students is low and the corelation value between social trust and social participation is low. If the social trust is fundamental elements of the social participation and citizenship, we must prepare the citizenship education for improving the social trust.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

≫시민성(citizenship)의 궁극적 지향점으로 사회참여를 논하려면 사회관계 측면을 고려해야 하며, 이 과정에서 사회관계 이론화 추구의 핵심 개념인 사회자본(social capital)을 도입하여 시민성의 의미를 제고해볼 수 있다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 중고등학생의 사회적 신뢰와 사회참여의 정도와 관계를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 중고등학생의 사회적 신뢰와 사회참여 정도는 매우 낮았으며, 사회적 신뢰와 사회참여는 낮은 상관관계를 가지고 있었다. 사회적 신뢰와 사회참여가 시너지 효과를 갖는 상보적인 개념이라면 사회적 신뢰를 높여줄 수 있는 교과 내용의 강화와 사회관계를 강조하는 실천적인 사회참여 교육이 절실히 요구된다.
