시에 나타난 내면의 장소와 일상성 : 첨부작품을 중심으로

This study examined the investigator's 41 poems, including <An Ambiguous Bag>, and other poets' works that were necessary to analyze the study theme of 'the internal place and dailiness, presented in poetry'.
In order to examine the internal place and dailiness, presented in poetry, four sub-themes were established: First, in 'the internal places and miscellaneous things in everyday life', the internal places presented in Gi Hyeong-do's <Worry of Mother> and the investigator's <An Ambiguous Bag> were examined. A dark 'empty room' in childhood and 'an ambiguous bag' of which division of inside and outside is ambiguous become 'the place'. Second, in 'the opposite side of desired things-deficiency', the inside of desires presented in Choe Seung-ja's <To Be Born Again> and <Thirty Years of Age> was looked into, and via interpreting the investigator's <Backside of Flower, Posture of Shower> and <Category>, the fact that deficiency certainly exists in the opposite side of desire, like everyday life in which happiness and unhappiness coexist, was examined. Third, in 'the contribution of memory and wound', the fact that the memory and wound placed in individuals' experience are involved in poetry and have significant influence upon it was examined intensively. In addition, Choe Seung-ja's <The World in Early Days> and the investigator's <In Spite of a Windowless Room> and <Putting a Red Blanket under the Fence> were examined from the positive aspect of 'contribution'. And fourth, the fact that these sub-themes could be an avoidable step for the theme of 'an emotional base and genuineness' was confirmed. Examination on the former three sub-themes can provide help when a poet prepares an internal order for himself and tries to find out an emotional base.
All the 42 attached poems will be included in the first collection of poems. While sending the manuscript of poems to the publishing company, proofreading it, and preparing this study, the investigator applied the self-setting sub-themes to the poems. The things of 'mine' were compelled to appear more clearly in the works, and this step made the investigator' world of poetry which was defined by critics after the investigator started literary career to be checked more clearly.
The investigator felt the sense of aliveness more vividly when wandering about or attempting to reorganize space and time at the moment of unable to find out or not trying to find out the answer just in the halfway of 'know' and 'do not know'. In addition, the investigator felt the poetic fullness more strongly when being caught in the sense of rubbing off division, demarcation and regulated things. It seemed to derive from the first ambiguity perceived at the moment of sensing the limitation of existence. When writing poems, the investigator has tried to keep away from 'inflexibility' mostly. Is it possible for somebody to present a one-sided sheet of correct answer abruptly and decisively in this world? A being creates another being, a being creates the world, the relationship between beings is reciprocal, and 'inside' and 'outside' can become either this or that. Since 'I' and 'you' cannot be free from mutual influence at the last, the things of mine can be the things of yours, your important part can be 'I', and the wholeness of ours can be each other. An important ting is that life and poetry are closely related and reciprocal, and the desire of creating poetry increases when one dreams through deficiency. The investigator will turn steps toward small and miscellaneous things in everyday life and then find out them, and is going to start reluctantly and unhurriedly in order to fix the flag of sympathies in the heart of readers.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 ‘시에 나타난 내면의 장소와 일상성’이라는 주제로「모호한 가방」외 41편의 자작시와 주제연구에 필요한 시인들의 작품을 선택하여 분석하였다.
시에 나타난 내면의 장소와 일상성을 연구하기 위하여 소주제를 네 개로 세분화했다. 첫째, ‘내면의 장소와 일상의 사소한 것’에서는 기형도의「엄마 걱정」과 필자의「모호한 가방」에 나타난 내면의 장소를 들여다보았다. 유년의 어둡던 ‘빈 방’과 안과 밖이 모호한 ‘모호한 가방’이 그 ‘장소’가 되어주고 있었다. 둘째, ‘욕망한다는 것의 반대쪽-결여’에서는 최승자의「다시 태어나기 위하여」와「삼십세」에 나타난 좌절된 욕망의 속살을 엿보았고, 필자의 시「꽃의 뒤편, 샤워의 자세」와「카테고리」를 해석하며 행복과 불행을 함께 지니고 있는 삶처럼 욕망의 반대쪽에는 반드시 결여가 존재한다는 사실을 보았다. 셋째, ‘기억과 상처의 기여’에서는 개인의 체험 속에 존재하는 기억과 상처가 시에 깊이 관여하고 중요한 영향을 끼친다는 것에 주목했으며, 최승자의 시「일찍이 세계는」과 필자의 시「창문도 없는 방이라 해도」,「담장 아래 붉은 담요를 깔고」를 긍정적인 ‘기여’의 관점에서 살펴보았다. 그리고 이러한 소주제들은 넷째, ‘심정적 근거와 진정성’이라는 주제를 위해 빼놓을 수 없는 과정이 되어 준다는 것을 확인했다. 앞의 세 가지 소주제를 살펴보는 것은 시인이 스스로 내적 질서를 마련하고 심정적 근거를 찾아가는데 도움을 준다.
작품론에 첨부한 42편의 시는 모두 첫시집에 수록될 예정이다. 출판사에 시집 원고를 넘기고 교정을 보고, 본 논문을 준비하는 동안 필자는 스스로 정한 소주제에 시들을 대입해보게 되었다. 작품들 속에 어쩔 수 없이 ‘나’의 것들이 더 또렷하게 보이기 시작했는데 이 과정은 등단 이후에 평론가들에 의해서 규정되던 필자의 세계를 더 분명하게 스스로 점검해볼 수 있게 해주었다.
필자는 여전히 ‘안다’와 ‘모른다’의 중간쯤에서 답을 찾지 못하거나 찾지 않고 떠돌며 공간과 시간의 재배치를 시도할 때 더 살아있고 구분과 경계, 규정된 것들을 지우는 감각에 붙잡혀있을 때 시적으로 더 충만하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그것은 존재의 한계를 느끼던 시점에서 인식한 최초의 모호함때문이었는지도 모른다. 필자는 시를 쓸 때 ‘확고부동(確固不動)’을 가장 멀리한다. 이 세계에 느닷없이 단호하게 일방적인 정답지를 내밀 수 있는 자는 가능한가. 존재가 존재를, 존재가 세계를 창조하고 존재와 존재는 상호적이며 ‘안’과 ‘밖’은 이쪽이 될 수도 저쪽이 될 수도 있다. ‘나’와 ‘너’는 최후에 서로의 영향에서 자유롭지 못하므로 나를 이룬 것들이 네가 될 수도 있고 너의 중요한 일부가 나일 수도 있고 우리의 전부가 서로일 수도 있다. 중요한 것은 삶과 시는 긴밀하고 상호적이라는 점이며 시 쓰기의 욕망은 결여된 것들을 통해 꿈꾸기 시작할 때 더 커진다는 사실이다. 필자는 여전히 작고 모호한 것들 쪽으로 일상적인 걸음을 옮기면서 발견해낼 것이며, 읽는 이들의 심중(心中)에 공감의 깃발을 꽂기 위해 또 머뭇거리며 유유히 출발하기로 한다.
