Electrochemical behavioes of TiO2-x electrodes in 1M NAOH electrolyte
n-type TiO_(2-x) 전극의 전기화학적 성질을 1M NaOH 전해질에서 연구하였다. n-type TiO_(2-x)의 polarogram을 air bubbling 하면서 측정하여 αn_a 값이 0.4∼0.6임을 알았다. Chronoamperometry로부터 n 값이 약 4임을 알았다. Air equilibrium 조건에서 cathodic polarization region에서 scanning rate 13mV/sec로 cyclic voltammogram을 측정하여 반응이 totally irreversible process라는 가정하에 계산한 αn_a, k°, n값은 0.5∼0.6, 10^-11~10^-13, 그리고 4∼5임을 알았다. 그러므로, 이 반응은 totally irreversible 전극 반응임을 확실히 알 수 있었다. 위에서 언급한 반응속도변수의 계산에 필요한 1M NaOH에서 산소의 확산계수를 DME를 이용한 polarography에 의해 측정하였다. 1M NaOH에서 산소의 확산계수는 25℃에서 2.54×10^-5㎠/sec 임을 알았다. The electrochemical properties of n-type TiO_(2-x) electrode have been investigated in 1M NaOH aqueous solution. Measurements of the polarogram of n-type TiO_(2-x) were obtained with air bubbling. The values of αn_a from polarograms are found to be 0.4-0.6. The values of n from chronoamperometry were obtained to be about 4. Measurements of the voltammogram were obtained in the cathodic polarization region under the normal air equilibrium conditions at scanning rate v=0.013 V/sec. The values of αn_a, k^o, and n of the samples studied are calculated to be 0.5-0.6, 10^-11-10^-13, and 4-5 on the assumption that rwaction was totally irreversible process. Therefore, It was born out that reaction was totally irreversible electrode reaction. The diffusion coefficient of O₂ in 1M NaOH, which is needed in the computation of reaction rate parameters mentioned above, have been measured by means of polarography with DME, and found to be 2.54 × 10^-5 ㎠/sec at 25˚C.

Unified theory of the weak and electromagnetic interactions
1970년 이래로 Weinberg-Salam 모형이 물리학자들로부터 커다란 주의를 받아왔다. 본 논문에서는 관습적인 V-A 이론을 통해 β-붕괴의 약 상호작용을 연구하고, 나아가서 CVC (conserved vector current)와 PCVA (Partially conserved axial-vector current)를 채용하고 IVB (intermediate vector boson)를 도입하여 경입자들의 약 상호작용과 전자기적 상호작용의 통합이론으로서 Weinberg-Salam 모형을 얻는다. Since the 1970's the Weinberg-Salam model has received a great attention from the physicists. In this paper we review the weak interaction of the be ta decay through the conventional V-A theory. And we proceed to obtain the Weinberg-Salam model as a unified theory of the weak and electromagnetic interactions of the leptons by adopting the eve (conserved vector current) and PCAC (partially conserved axial-vector current) hypothesis and introducing the IVB (intermediate vector boson).

The Classification theorem for two-dimensional manifolds and its applications
1. 二次元 多樣體에 關하여 1907年 Dehn과 Heogaard에 依하여 最初로 分類定理가 證明되었으나 三次元 以上의 多樣體에 關해서는 아직 分類定理가 알려지지 않고 있다. 本論文에서는 二次元, 多樣體의 分類定理로 證明하고 連結合의 演算을 導入, 二次元 多樣體는 連結合의 演算에 關하여 半群만을 證明하고 이에 따른 몇 가지 性質을 밝혀보았다. 補助定理 1. 二次元 多樣體의 分類定理 任意의 compact 曲面은 1) 救面 2) m個의 丹環面의 連結合 3) n個의 射影平面의 連結合 중의 하나와 位相同型이다. 補助定理 2. 丹環面과 射影平面의 連結合은 3個의 射影平面의 連結合과 位相同型이다. 命題 3. a)有向인 compaet 曲面은 S^2 또는 nT 중 하나와 位相同型이다. b)非有向인 compaet 曲面은 P # nT 또는 K # nT 중의 하나와 位相同型이다. 定理 4. 二次元 多樣體는 連結合 演算에 關하여 半群만을 이룬다. 系 5. 有向인 多樣體의 連結合은 有向이나 적어도 하나가 非有向인 두 多樣體의 連結合은 非有向이다. 系 6. On the classification with several populations
이 논문에서는 다수의 다변량 정규분포 집단들 중에서 한 집단으로의 분류를 일반화하고 다음의 사실들을 밝혀냈다. (1) 다변량 정규분포에서 모수들이 미지일때 기각치는 [X-1/2(X￣^(i)+X￣^(k))'S^-1(X￣^(i)-X￣^(k))이다. 여기서, X￣^(i)와 S는 μ^(i)와 ∑의 최우도 추정치이다. (2) 다변량 정규분포에서 다수 표본을 갖을 경우 (1)의 접근적 기각치는 기지일때의 기각치와 같게 된다.

플로로포름 존재하에 N-Bromosuccinimide 2몰은 8-Hydroxyquinoline 1몰과 2M 아세트산 용액 속에서 반응하여 5,7-dibromo-8-hydroxyquinoline을 생성한다. 이 반응은 실온에서 신속하게 정량적으로 진행한다· 이 반응을 이용한 8-hydroxyquinoline의 새롭고 간편한 미량적정 분석법이 확립되었다. N-bromosuccinimide를 일차 표준용액으로 하고, Bordeaux red를 내부 지시약으로 사용하는 본 방법은 공정분석법인 역적정법에 비하여 신속하고 간단하며 정확도와 정밀도가 우수하다. 0.l㎎∼l0㎎ 범위의 8-hydroxyquinoline이 분석되었으며, 아울러 JIS 공정분석법에 의한 비교분석 결과도 보고한다. 실혐오차는 ±1.61%를 넘지 않는다.
