        A Study on the Information Seeking Behavior of University staff The university has recently demanded constant innovation and change of its members. In particular, it is required to maximize and specialize the faculty's job competencies. However, there have been insufficient systematic research and academic performance for University faculty members. In this context, this study investigated University staff members' concepts and roles. It aimed to use their information-seeking behaviors and level of use according to individual characteristics as basic data needed to improve the work-related information services of the University library. Study questions to achieve the purpose of the study are as follows: First, what were University staff members' data use and information needs related to their works according to individual characteristics Second, what were their work-related information collections and their satisfaction levels? Last, what was the satisfaction with the services of the University library and the ways to improve services? This study conducted a survey through site visits and mail for staff members working at 4-year Universitys in Jeollabuk-do. A total of 154 questionnaires were used in a study analysis. A descriptive statistical analysis, frequency analysis, standard deviation, T-test and one-way ANOVA were carried out to analyze survey results, using SPSS 15.0 program. A χ2(Chi-square) test was used for the items with statistically significant differences as a result of a one-way ANOVA The study results are as follows: First, it was shown that the longer University staff members served, the higher the rate of work-related information sources became. Second, as a result of investigating their satisfaction with information collection, administrative and technical staffs largely responded that they were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, whereas library staffs mainly answered that they were somewhat satisfied. In other words, it was shown that library staffs were more satisfied with information collection than administrative and technical staffs. Library staffs seems to have the high level of satisfaction with information collection because they majored in relevant fields. Third, the main purpose of using the University library was data lending. They did not feel the necessity of use due to a lack of necessary data even though they wanted to use work-related data. Last, the results related to the improvement plan for the services of the University library were shown in order of the expansion of the latest data, work-related data, the expansion of education and PR related to the ways to use the University library and the expansion of library hours. The plans to promote University staff members to use University libraries are presented as follows based on the conclusions of this study: First, the University library shall frequently conduct a demand survey on data wanted by University staff members. Second, it shall provide convenience and the environment where they can use it outside normal working hours by using a flexible library schedule. Third, it shall provide staff members with work-related knowledge and information in the specialized field and expand work-related data so that they can make use of them in University administration. Last, it shall carry out education and PR activities related to the ways to use the University library.

      • 빅 데이터 환경에서 개인의 정보인권 보호방안에 관한 연구

        Recently, it has been paid attention on big data as a core ICT technology to solve various social problems. Meanwhile, with the indiscriminate use of data, big data environment brings about the infringement of human rights. However, the current statute has not been working as an effective means to protect personal privacy in this new era of big data. This thesis proposes some specific methods to protect personal information right in the this big data environment. Firstly, the global competition is discussed to secure data acquisition in order to be a big brother. Then, the infringement of personal information right is analysed with some examples of the illegal uses for business purpose along with the indiscriminating personal data acquisition. Finally, the advanced cases are also explored with other countries which move quickly to come up with the measures to protect personal information right. Based on these observations, we presents four methods; firstly it is need to separate personal information into identifiable one and not-identifiable one by the big data technology, and process them differently. Secondly the right of the information principal should be strengthened through the preparation institutional strategies. Thirdly, it is required to establish an independent and exclusive organization to protect personal information right which oversees both public and private sectors. Finally, the current resident registration number should be replaced with one which is not embedded personal information. Along with the technical aspect of proposed methods, it is strongly required to come up with some degree of social efforts to accept and embody the methods. Besides the wise use of the big data technology should be discussed together.

      • 이용자 프로파일 기반의 기록정보서비스 발전 방안에 관한 연구 : 국가기록원 열람서비스를 중심으로

        본 연구는 이용자 요구에 적합한 정보 제공을 위한 기록물 열람서비스 개선 방안으로 이용자 프로파일을 기반으로 개인별 맞춤화된 정보서비스를 제안하고자 한다. 이에 국가기록원에서 제공하고 있는 기록정보서비스를 분석하고, 이용자의 서비스 만족도와 요구사항을 파악하기 위하여 국가기록원 서울기록정보센터 이용자 대상 설문조사를 실시한 결과 개인화된 기록물 열람서비스에 대한 필요성이 확인되었다. 이 조사연구 결과를 바탕으로 기록물관리기관의 이용자관계관리(CRM : Customer Relationship Management)에 의한 맞춤정보서비스를 제안하였다. 즉, 이용자의 개인별 성향 분석을 통한 개인 맞춤형 서비스이다. 개인 맞춤형서비스는 이용자 개인의 인적사항, 이용자가 열람한 이력, 기록물 열람 횟수 및 목적, 기록물의 유형 등 개인정보를 수집하고, 이를 바탕으로 이용자에게 가장 적절하게 정보를 제공하는 것이다. 또한, 이용자에게 이용자 프로파일에 등록된 정보로 자주 이용된 정보를 주기적으로 검색하여 필요한 기록물 정보를 이메일 등으로 미리 제공 할 수 있다. 개인별서비스의 중요한 요소는 효율적인 개인화서비스를 제공하기 위해 이용자의 기록물열람에 대한 피드백을 축적 하는 시스템 구축이다. 이용자에 대한 보다 적극적이고 능동적인 서비스 제공을 위한 기록정보서비스 체계 및 방법을 개발하고 고도화, 전문화, 다양화되는 이용자의 요구를 만족시킬 수 있는 이용자 중심의 기록정보서비스 방법을 개발해야 할 것이다. 향후 정보기술의 발달과 환경의 변화에 따른 고객 요구 파악 및 서비스의 개선이 계속되어야 하며, 기록물의 개인별서비스 제공을 위해서는 다각적인 형태의 이용자에 대한 연구 및 기록물의 제공 범위에 대한 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

      • 온라인 환경에서의 이용자참여형 기록정보서비스 활성화 방안 연구

        Along with the development of information technology, user-oriented services are provided in various areas with the application of Web 2.0, thus changing the stance of users from passive receivers of information to active participants who suggest opinions regarding information and produce new information. With these changes, the records center is also preparing an environment in which users participation is encouraged and records and information can be actively utilized through various information sharing among users. In this study, a comparative analysis was conducted on the present service conditions of National Archives of Korea and representative national records centers such as The National Archives and Records Administration(NARA), The National Archives(TNA), and National Archives of Australia(NAA), along with a survey research on users perception of archival information services with subjects recruited from students and records management staff who have knowledge about records management. Based on the results of analysis, it was found that services provided by national records centers should include the following: services that considers the perception and level of users; provision for convenient interface; those that considers the provision of service considering the recognition and level of users, the preparation of convenient interface, efforts for maintaining consistent tag information with the current folksonomy service; and active publicity activities. Based on these measures, a process provided by records center web was deduced from user participatory archival information service that allows the information to be managed by an archivist, delivered to the users via web, and categorized or integrated with the knowledge of the user to generate new information that, in turn, is provided for other users. In addition, in order to revitalize archival information service, it is necessary to expand users participatory archival information services selectively, to filter records information according to explosive growth of information, to secure reliability of records information generated by users, to secure sample data and information providers as a way to encourage users participation, to provide educational programs for archivists and users, to provide interconnected services between each service, and to provide applications that can be used in various terminals. Such methods to improve archival information service will naturally provide opportunities to promote archival information services as well as the importance of records information.

      • UML을 이용한 .NET 기반의 중소기업 형 영업관리시스템 설계 및 구현

        정보기술의 발달과 더불어 정보의 홍수 속에 수많은 기업은 비용을 절감하고 이윤을 극대화하기 위한 방법으로 정보시스템을 앞 다퉈 도입하기에 이르렀다. 초창기 정보시스템은 기존 단위업무 - 영업, 생산, 구매, 자재, 인사, 급여, 회계 등-를 제한된 환경에서 단위 업무 중심으로 사용하였고 이를 개발하기 위한 소프트웨어 또한 프로그래밍 중심적인 구조적 설계 방법에 의존하여 개발함으로 많은 시간과 비용이 발생 하였다. 결국 개발 생산성이 저하되고 소프트웨어 품질 또한 저하되는 문제가 발생하였다. 그러나 현재에 와서는 기업들의 다양한 요구가 발생하고 이에 능동적으로 대처하기 위한 개발 방법론이 필요 하였다. 이에 따라 본 논문은 현재 클라이언트/서버 환경에서 정보시스템을 사용하고 있는 중소 제조 기업 중 H사를 대상으로 고객사에서 제공하는 수주 정보의 연계 및 수주 정보의 부 정확성이나 문제점을 분석하고, 장·단기 판매계획, 기간별 수주 정보, 수주대비 출고관리, 판매계획 대비 매출실적 등의 업무 영역에 대한 자세한 수준의 프로세스 분석을 통하여 개선점을 찾아내고, 현행 ERP 시스템의 영업 관리 모듈에서 수행 가능한 업무의 통합과 일관성 있는 정보의 제공 가능성에 대해 분석 설계하였다. 또한 분석된 AS-IS를 기반으로 TO-BE 프로세스 모델 설계 등의 과정을 거쳐 객체지향 방법론 설계 도구인 VISIO의 UML을 이용하여 유스케이스, 시퀀스 다이어그램, 컴포넌트 다이어그램을 작성하고 이를 마이크로소프트사(Microsoft corp)의 객체지향 언어인 C#.NET을 이용한 .NET기반의 확장 가능한 중소기업 형 영업관리 시스템을 구현함으로써 컴포넌트의 재사용성과 소프트웨어의 개발 생산성을 제고하고자 하였다. Great many corporation reached to reduce expense and introduce information system quickly by method to maximize profit within flood of information along with development of Information Technology. Information system used existing unit business - with going, production, purchase, resources, personnel, allowance, account - by unit business balance in limited surrounding infancy and much times and expense happened that depend and develop to programming central structural design method as well as software to develop this. Finally, development productivity is fallen and software quality also fallen problem happen. But, come at present and various request of corporations happens and need development methodology that serve to cope here upon spontaneously. Accordingly, this treatise design and analyzes problem as many as link of acceptance an order information and wealth accuracy of acceptance an order information that offer in Business partner 'H' company of medium and small manufacture corporation which is appropriating information system in present client /server environment. Search for improvement through process analysis of detailed level for business sacred ground of short term sale plan, period acceptance an order information, acceptance an order provision delivery of goods from a warehouse administration, sale plan provision sale results etc, and designed analysis about offer possibility of information that have all-in-one and consistency of business that achievement is possible in business administration module of current ERP system. Also, construed AS-IS using VISIO's UML that is an object intention methodology design tool via process of TO-BE process model design and so on to base use case diagram, sequence diagram, component diagram make out that do and this is Microsoft corporation object oriented language C#.NET. Wished to raise reusability of component and development productivity of software as that embody small and medium type business sales and marketing management system based on .NET relationship extension is possible.

      • 법학전문도서관의 역할과 발전 방안에 관한 연구 : C 대학교를 중심으로

        This study found out what functions should be prepared in a law library, having an upgraded law library ahead to open. Also, it researched the present condition and service system of Harvard, Yale law school libraries, which are outstanding in U.S. and put the suggestions on the desirable ways to help 25 national law school libraries applying for preliminary approval and C university's law school improve themselves. The desirable role and improvable ways are following these six things; the first, is improving the system independent, the second, the system of training professional librarians, the third, improving the present system, the fourth, reference system and , the fifth, designing law thesaurus and the last, raising fund for law school libraries. The law school is waiting for the result of final judgement approval on Ocober, 2008. Before this, there is prior tasks that law school libraries should be maintained as follow ; 1. Supporting budget and human resources. 2. Restructuring realistically the criteria of national library to college library. 3. Re-education for the professionality of training librarians and the subject field. 4. Surveying user of law school libraries and reflecting their demand and the trend of law information. 5. Making particular provisions from cooperation with law school library conference group, a conference of law library and a university library conference group and proving the treatment and ability of librarians by paying undivided attention to the programs to need for librarians. 6. After looking over the instance of running law school libraries in America, analyzing our steps thoroughly and expecting development plan fitted for our transition stage. According to these above, a law school library should deal with the social change , which is one of the characteristics on a law, and develop the high quality service by combining creative librarians' ideas. Also, when there is a plenty of support for the goal of law school library and training prominent lawyers, the library can be a institution contributed on user's interest as well as the treatment of librarians.

      • 생태네트워크 시스템 설계 및 구현(전라북도 생태복원사업을 중심으로)

        생태네트워크 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 본 논문에서는 전라북도 만경강을 중심으로 하는 새만금유역의 생태자료에 대하여 IT기술을 활용하여 정보화시스템을 설계 구현함으로써 새만금유역의 다양한 습지, 생태공원, 자연생태학습장, 대규모 청정농지와 살아있는 갯벌 등 전라북도 자연생태환경을 홍보하고, 사이버상에 친환경적인 생태보존 및 개발을 체험할 수 있는 교육의 장을 마련하며, 나아가 새만금간척지의 친환경적인 생태 보존 및 개발 거점으로서 새만금 사업의 정체성을 확립하여 지역경제 활성화를 도모할 수 있는 방안을 수립하는 것을 주제로 설정하였다. 본 논문의 구성을 보면, 농업기반공사 새만금사업단에서 새만금수역을 중심으로 조사한 새만금환경영향평가보고서와 전라북도 산림행정과에서 연구 용역한 만경강생태하천가꾸기사업 결과보고서에서 조사되어진 생태정보의 기초 자료와 관련 연구를 중심으로 2장에서는 관련 연구의 기초인 자연환경 및 생태정보에 대한 개괄적 개념에 대하여 알아보았으며, 3장에서는 생태정보시스템 구축방안에 대하여 기술하고, 4장에서는 생태정보시스템에서 구현되는 웹사이트에 대하여 메뉴별 설명을 하여 생태정보시스템에 대한 이해를 돕고자 하였으며, 5장에서는 생태관련 타 시스템과의 비교분석을 통하여 장단점을 비교하여 향후 생태정보시스템의 발전 방향을 모색하였다. 끝으로 6장에서는 결론을 맺고 연구와 관련돤 몇가지 제언하는 것으로 본 논문을 구성하였다. 이와같이 새만금유역에 대하여 생태네트워크시스템을 설계 구현함으로써 인터넷 사용자에게 환경의 중요성을 일깨우고, 인간이 자연속에서 더불어 살아가고자 하는 동기를 유발하는 것이 본 논문의 연구목적이다. In this thesis, we design and implement an ecology network system which manages ecology information in Saemangeum area near River Mankyung. This system supports advertising nature of Jeonbuk province in which marshes, ecological parks, natural ecological activity areas, large scale organic farms, and sandbanks are scattered around Saemangeum area. Cyber activity programs for well-keeping nature and nature-care development are provided in this system. Furthermore, in this paper, we investigate new measures to promote local economic growth by identifying that Saemangeum area is a center of environment reservation and environment friendly development. This paper is mainly based on the evaluation report for environmental impact of Saemangeum area published by the Saemangeum project team in Korea Agriculture and Rural Infrastructure corporation and the project report of preserving ecology in River Mankoung by Forestry Division in Jeonbuk province. This paper is organized as follows. Section 2 displays general concepts of natural environment and ecological information as related works, followed by section 3 where an ecology information system is described. Section 4 gives details of each menu item on the Web site for the ecology information system. Section 5 illustrates the comparison with other systems to explore a more developed system. Conclusions and further work are described in Section 6. The objectives of the ecology network system in this thesis are 1) to make Internet users realize the importance of environment, and 2) to give a motivation that human being should preserve nature with which we live.
