      • 고등학교 국사 교과서의 임진왜란 서술에 대한 비교분석 : 제1차~2007 개정 교육과정까지

        Education and textbooks of the national history cannot be unrelated to the political authority and ideology of the time. According to the change of curriculum, Korean history textbooks sometimes showed a description that could not get free from the colonial view of history over the Imjin War, the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592, and sometimes showed a description that tried to justify loyalty and obedience to the state by empathizing history that overcame national crises. Under the critical mind that high school Korean history textbooks’ descriptions have changed according to the change of the political situation, this study tried to analyze characteristics and problems seeing the Imjin War each period and based on this tried to find direction of description of the Imjin War in Korean history textbooks. Particularly, this study reviewed descriptions of the ImJin War in the textbooks between the first curriculum and 2007 revised curriculum The Imjin War was the battle waged for 7 years since Japanese army invaded Busanpo Harbor, Korea, in 1592. At that time, political situations at home and abroad complexly worked, and as a result, the war had a great influence not only on Joseon but also on Japan and Ming. In the periods of the 1st and 2nd curricula, descriptions of this Imjin War did not get free from the colonial view of history; particularly, in the 3rd curriculum period, education of ‘the heteronomous patriotism’ under the pretext of ‘people’ was forced, and the education of ‘nationalistic patriotism’ that forces loyalty to the system in the name of nation was carried forward. Alongside this, descriptions trying to justify loyalty and obedience to the state by empathizing history that overcame national crises were shown sometimes. This view of history was connected intactly to the following curricula and was moderated in the 7th curriculum. However, as the importance of the history that overcame national crises gradually decreased and the importance of war history was reduced, the proportion of description of the Imjin War also hit almost 0%. The purpose of teaching war history in the past historical education was to enhance national pride and promote patriotism by empathizing history of overcoming national crises. However, whether only empathizing history like that is desirable or not is doubtable today. The aim of learning history may be to know our urgent problems, to predict how the future world will be developed, and to more rationally and positively cope with it, through history, record of the past life. In addition, by paying attention to the people who have been neglected by a huge discourse of war, we should know the biggest victims of war are human beings ourselves, regardless of the aggressor or damaged nation. Therefore, it is the time that the curriculum has to reflect the importance of peace rather than history of overcoming national crises in textbooks. Textbooks have dealt with less the importance of the Imjin War as they have been closer to the 2007 revised curriculum. It goes without saying that quality of textbook description is more important, although quantity is also important. It is expected to be more developmental description, if description of simple list is resolutely removed, and if contents of help to arouse the intellectual curiosity of students and to promote the research function, such as causes of wars including foreign relations and driving force that could changethe unfavorable war situation, and cold-heartedness of war and preciousness of peace are included.

      • 수학학습부진아를 위한 ‘식의 계산' 단원의 단계별 교육자료 개발과 적용

        I developed step by step exercise materials about ’calculation of expression' and applied for the highschool students who are poor at mat hematics. I observed how much the application influenced the learning attitude and the inclination for mathematics of the students. To develop the step by step exercises materials I followed the example of elem entary school curriculum. The learning materials consisted of the hierarchical contents and activities which had 11units, 22 times. The worksheets were made as four steps each unit : grasping the question, seeking the question, resolving the question, and applying the question In this thesis, it is shown that the application for students influence the learning attitude and the inclination for mathematics positively. Af ter studying with the materials, the students had more self -confidence, interest, curiosity, motivation, concentration, and so on. The materials helped the students considerably to understand the four rules of arithmetic, monomial and polynomial expressions, and multiplication formulas.

      • 읽기 후 요약 활동이 EFL 중학생들의 읽기와 쓰기 능력 향상에 미치는 영향

        In EFL environments, the best way to learn English is considered to be through literacy. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of summary writing for the development of reading and writing skills of EFL middle school students. For this study, three research questions were proposed: 1) How does summary writing affect students' reading abilities?; 2) How does summary writing affect students' writing abilities?; and 3) How does summary writing affect students' attitudes toward reading and writing? To answer these questions, three groups were chosen as participants, consisting of five first-year and eight second-year middle school students. Five first-year students and four second-year students performed post-reading activity of summary writing exercises while the remaining four second-year students studied reading using traditional learning methods focused on translation and grammar. The experiment was conducted twice a week for four weeks. In order to measure the changes in the students' written skills, pre- and post-test of reading and writing were given before and after the instruction. In addition, for the purpose of exploring the process of the students' reading and writing development over the course of the experiment, reading tests and summary writing were conducted in every session. Finally, questionnaires were given in order to measure the change of students' attitudes toward reading and writing after the experiment. The following results were obtained based on the data from the experiment. Firstly, summary writing had a positive effect on the middle school students reading abilities in two ways: one being that it affected the students' top-down skill and the other being that it played an important role in reducing the gap in reading abilities between students in the same group. Secondly, summary writing affected the middle school students' writing abilities in a positive manner. All participants' writing abilities improved dramatically due to the release of the learners' burden for writing through copying first and then composing their ideas later. Thirdly, summary writing has positively affected students' attitudes toward the learning of literacy skills. Performing a student-centered task, learners could thus become active, and naturally, they got to gain interest and confidence in English. Therefore, this thesis suggests that EFL learners be given summary writing practices as a post-reading activity in order to improve their literacy skills. To maximize the effort, teachers will play a crucial role in the writing instruction. From the outset, they should recognize the importance and function of summary writing, and then continue to develop more effective and systematic ways of summary writing not only appropriate to the learners' level and circumstances, but also fully integrated into their lessons.

      • 직업카드를 활용한 진로지도 프로그램이 발달장애학생의 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 일반학생들을 대상으로 개발된 직업카드를 활용한 진로지도 프로그램을 발달장애학생들에게 적용했을 때 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 그리고 이를 바탕으로 일반학생들을 대상으로 개발된 진로지도 프로그램을 발달장애학생에게 적용 가능한가에 대한 가능성을 확인해 보는 데 그 목적이 있다.이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 선정한 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일반학생을 대상으로 개발한 진로지도 프로그램을 발달장애학생에게 적용가능한가? 둘째, 직업카드를 활용한 진로지도 프로그램이 발달장애학생의 진로성숙도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 본 연구문제를 해결하기 위해 특수학교 고등학생을 대상을 진로성숙도 검사를 실시하였고 백분위 25이하를 나타낸 학생들 중 언어적 의사소통이 원활하고, 문자언어 사용이 가능한 학생들을 대상자로 선정하였다. 직업카드를 활용한 진로지도 프로그램은 성민정(2005)의 자료를 기반으로 발달장애학생의 인지·언어적수준과 특성에 맞게 어휘를 수정하였고 운영시간 및 교실 환경을 수정하여 총 5회기를 진행하였다. 연구의 결과는 진로성숙도 사전-사후 검사의 결과를 바탕으로 평균을 산출하고 백분율을 비교하여 양적분석을 실시하였다. 그리고 양적분석이 갖는 신뢰성을 보완하기 위해 학생들의 소감문 및 활동영상자료, 담임교사 인터뷰 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 비장애인을 대상으로 개발된 진로지도 프로그램은 참여 학생의 장애 정도와 의사소통 능력, 어휘 수준, 이해 능력, 주의집중 정도 등을 고려하여 프로그램을 수정·적용 한다면 장애학생에게 기존에 개발된 진로지도 프로그램을 적용하여 지도할 수 있다. 둘째, 직업카드를 활용한 진로지도 프로그램은 발달장애학생의 진로성숙도 향상에 효과적이었다. 참여 학생 수가 적었다는 제한점이 있어 통계적 유의도를 도출하기는 어려우나 질적분석을 바탕으로 하였을 때 본 프로그램이 발달장애학생의 진로성숙도에 영향을 미쳤다는 것을 도출할 수 있었다. 셋째, 특수학교에서 진로지도 프로그램을 교과 활동과 연계하여 지도하는 것 뿐 아니라 창의적 체험활동 시간을 활용하여 지도하였을 때 발달장애학생들이 자기에 대해 이해하고 진로를 탐색, 결정하는 과정을 경험해 볼 수 있었다. 따라서 장애학생을 지도하는 교육기관에서의 진로지도에 대한 구체적인 프로그램 구안과 지속적인 지도의 필요성이 확인되었다. 이상에서와 같이 일반학생들을 대상으로 개발된 직업카드를 활용한 진로지도 프로그램을 발달장애학생에게 적용하였을 때 진로성숙도가 향상된 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 진로지도 프로그램도 장애학생의 수준으로 고려하여 어휘, 활용, 환경을 적절하게 수정하여 적용하였을 때 진로지도 프로그램이 의도하는 결과를 성취할 수 있다. 따라서 기존에 개발된 진로지도 프로그램의 장애학생의 특성에 맞게 수정하여 학교현장 뿐 아니라 장애학생을 보육하고 교육하는 모든 기관에서 지속적으로 이루어질 수 있도록 방법을 모색하야 할 것이다.

      • 한국어 고급교재에 반영된 한국인의 가치체계

        This research started from the need to know the value system which is the base of the Koreans' culture in order to improve the ability of communication between the cultures of the Korean language learners. Since in the education of the Korean language, people pose a problem that, despite their competence of the Korean language, the ignorance of the Koreans' value system makes them fail to understand the Korean's behavior and attitude, thus finding it hard to communicate effectively. This research aims to analyze the content of the Korean language textbooks so as to find a way to have the real communication between cultures by checking out the value system of the Koreans. The second chapter dealt with culture education and value system. As communication is influenced by culture, we should know the culture so as to have the true communication. As culture has close relation with communication, there is a widespread feeling that cultural education is necessary to improve communication ability in the education of Korean as well. The education of the Korean language means a meeting of cultures between learners' culture and Korean culture. So improving the ability of communication between cultures is an important aim of the education of the Korean language. Value is a desirable belief underlying culture, which have an effect on a group's way of behavior, attitude, and living. So value system can be said to be the embodiment and organization of the values, and it reflects the culture of group members and internalize their conscience, showing the direction of their thought, world view, and identity. Consequently, to understand the Koreans well, we should know the value system underlying their behavior or attitude, which enables them to communicate effectively. In order to know the Koreans' value system, I used the cultural classification Hofstede and Hall made in terms of comparative analysis of the difference between cultures. Collectivism, authoritarianism, male-oriented culture, uncertainty avoidance culture, high context culture, and confucian dynamism were presented as Koreans' value system. The third chapter was analyzed focusing on the textbook for high level course of learners according to value criterion of above-mentioned Koreans' value system and detail category. The result of text analysis showed that collectivism formed the highest percent, while male-oriented culture the lowest. Collectivism seems to have occupied so many percent, just because it is both the most important value to comprize Koreans' value system and big frame to explain the Koreans. On the contrary, male-oriented culture accounts for little percent, because Korean society is changing more and more into gender equality culture. That is taken as an example of value shift focusing on the change of sex role between male and female. The percent of detail category of Koreans' value system shows the order of familism, value shift> sentimentalism, sequence culture, the best-oriented culture> we-consciousness, 'hurry-hurry' culture> leaning to one side, high-context culture> fate's orientation> honor culture, male-oriented culture. This research has a significance in that, through the examination of the characteristics of Koreans' value system, it analyzed the Koreans' value system in the textbook for advanced learners and apprehended the reality of its reflection. I expect that from now, based on this study, there will arise a lively argument as to how to educate value system in the textbook of the Korean language.

      • 순환운동이 노인여성의 신체구성,혈압 및 체력수준에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to examine the change in body composition, blood pressure and physical fitness in elderly women, living in S city, J province. 40 women are selected as exercise group(EG, n=20) and comparison group(CG, n=20). Exercise group have carried the circuit exercise program three times a week for 12 weeks as the level of 60~80% of aerobic exercise capacity. All the data calculated the average and standard deviation, and SPSS program was used to examining the differences in experiments, and they are measured repeatedly for the interaction effects between the group and period ANOVA. Paired t-test was performed to verified the changes before and after within the group and independent t-test was performed to test the significant levels of differences between the group. As the result of this study of the 12 weeks circuit exercise program, we obtained the following conclusions. First, circuit exercise group are significantly improved in body composition factors, such as body weight(P<.01), body fat percentage(P<.001) and waist circumference(P<.001). Second, circuit exercise group are significantly improved in blood pressure factors, such as SBP(P<.001), DBP(P<.01) and PP(P<.05). Third, the circuit exercise group showed significant improvements on physical fitness factors, such as lower limb function(P<.05), cardiovascular endurance(P<.05), flexibility(P<.001) and left foot balance(P<.01). Circuit exercise group showed a significant improvement on muscular strength(P<.01), dynamic balance(P<.01) and coordination capability(P<.05). However, there was no significant change in other physical fitness factors except the improvement on the dynamic balance(P<.001) in comparison group. To summarize the above results, 12 week circuit exercise induced significant improvements on body composition, blood pressure and physical fitness levels in elderly women. These results suggest that circuit exercise which is a mixture of aerobic exercise and resistance exercise can have a positive effect on the prevention, management or treatment of obesity, chronic disease in elderly women. In addition to improving overall physical fitness levels, it has a positive impact on the vitality and viability in elderly women

        This research is established to understand what difficulties students preparing high school qualification exam have, and the effect on their lives who comprehended the basics of calculation. The research aims following questions: First, “For School dropouts preparing high school qualification exam and staying in a probation office, what difficulties do they have in mathematics?”. Second, “What kind of effects does mathematics learning have on lives of School dropouts?” The result of the first question is following: First, School dropouts are likely to take their passive attitude to study for granted, have low self-esteem, and intensify their anxiety. Second, School dropouts basically have difficulty doing calculation and nervous to solve questions. Third, School dropouts are not familiar with following the rule of class and making an environment for studying thus their concentration is hard to be maintained.       • 수학 학습법에 대한 수학교사들의 인식

        This study was aimed at onsite mathematics teachers who are expert group in school mathematics and tried to find out what is their favorite method of learning mathematics, and why they favor that method of learning mathematics. For this study, we surveyed 108 middle·high school mathematics teachers and selected 5 teachers out of them as a study participants and carried out a in-depth interviews. By analyzing collected data through this process, we found the facts below. First, of the four methods, discovery learning was most preferred and preference to concept learning was the lowest by mathematics teachers. Second, compared to middle school mathematics teachers high school mathematics teachers more favored explanation learning. Third, a male teacher more favored explanation learning than a female teacher. Fourth, no significant differences were found out about the preference for method of learning mathematics from the teacher groups based on teaching experience. Fifth, There are significant differences in preference for explanation learning from the teacher groups based on age. Sixth, the reason why mathematics teachers prefer discovery learning is that they believe students can understand much better through the experience of making mistakes. Seventh, high school teachers are more in favor of explanation learning than middle school teachers because they feel burden of learning progress because of a university entrance examination. Eighth, a mathematics teachers who have longer teaching experience evaluate all method of learning positively without preferring certain method, since they understand pros and cons of each method of learning well. Ninth, the preference for concept learning was low since teachers think that a concept from class curriculum is easy on their standard not in students' position. Lastly, middle school teachers thinks that letting students formulate a concept from the a specific example is far better way. They favor concept learning than highschool teachers since they believe that it can last longer in students' memory by experiencing a process

      • 12주간의 복합운동이 노인의 대사증후군 지표에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a 12-week combined exercise program on the metabolic syndrome risk factors(WC, BP, BG, TG, HDL-C) in elderly people. For this, a low-intensity aerobic program and resistance exercise using Thera-Band were conducted with elderly men(n=10) and elderly women(n=20) over 65 years old who attended M Welfare Center located in Y City. The analysis results were as follows First, waist circumference(WC) was significantly decreased in both elderly men(p<0.01) and women(p<0.001) and there was no significant difference between gender. Second, there was no significant difference in systolic and diastolic blood pressure between gender and measurement period. Third, fasting blood glucose level(BG) was significantly decreased in both elderly men(p<0.05) and women(p<0.001). While it was significantly high in elderly men before combined exercise, there was no significant difference between gender after combined exercise. Fourth, triglyceride(TG) was significantly decreased in both elderly men(p<0.001) and women(p<0.01). There was no significant difference between gender before and after combined exercise. Fifth, high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) was significantly decreased in both elderly men(p<0.001) and women(p<0.001). There was no significant difference between gender before and after combined exercise. Based on the findings, it was confirmed that combined exercise for 12 weeks performed in elderly people could change metabolic syndrome-related variables in a positive way. However, the fact that there was no significant difference in the improvement of blood pressure may warrant further researches which vary the period, frequency, time, and intensity of exercise. Moreover, it was found that resistance exercise using silver gymnastics and elastic band was useful to maintain health and prevent metabolic diseases in elderly people. Therefore, further researches should be continuously conducted in a more systematic and scientific way
