        A study on the Architectural Consideration in the Operational Characteristics of Industrial Clean Room - Focused on the Flow Planning, Vibration Control, Air Current Control - Sun-Yong Lee Department of Civil, Environmental, Architectural Engineering, Graduate School of Industry, Kumoh National Institute of Technology Abstract Semiconductor, LCD, precision instrument, medicine industry are the key industries of current Korea, which has been improved in many aspects. These kinds of high-tech industries need good quality products. To maintain these things, we have to use Clean Room when we process a production or research in a lab. Because, the small particle in the manufacturing building or the lab or delicate vibration, temperature, and humidness in the process of manufacture cause the direct effect to the product's quality. In conclusion, to increase the outputs and quality, we need to establish a Clean Room. However, despite of the importance of Clean Room, It is still far behind basic research in our country and the thing we do is only it's equipment and system in general Therefore, we'd like to find out the operational statistics of Industrial Clean Room in this research and choose some of the Clean Room which has been built after 2000 and is still running systematically so we can find out the plan of movement line, control of vibration and stream. By analysis all these architectural elements, we can provide basic data of the elements which is usually used for the industrial purpose Clean Room recently. We have analyzed the operational statistics of the industrial purpose of Clean Room through research as well as the architectural elements such as movement plan, control of vibration and stream. Finally, I can make a conclusion about the architectural elements which have to be considered for Clean Room. 1. Architectural considerations for the Flow Planning. 1) Classify with the manufacturing section, office section, machine section and air conditioning room by considering movement line, plan of expansion and flow of manufacturing line for the afterwards. 2) Divide the general zone and Clean Room section to maintain the industrial purpose of Clean Room clean and to prevent contamination. Furthermore, the Room has to be considered to have a plan of exclusion when the poisoning gas or chemicals are leaked. And, it needs to be preserved a evacuation path. 3) Place an antechamber which is used for in and out of Clean Room not to be crossed people, products and equipments. 4) The furnitures and it`s deployments for the in-and-out of Clean Room need to be done by the regulation of the entrance operation rule to make sure for the people who get in not to be jammed and they are also needs to be considered the size of products which would be in and out through Clean Room to decide the side of the Room and it's door. And, we have to consider the pipe line and equipments not to interfere the movement lines. 5) Preserve the maintenance movement line which doesn't affect production line. 2. Architectural considerations for control of vibrations. 1) Proper methods of control of vibration which co-response the demanding conditions need to be considered through structural classification, placing vibration isolation table and etc. 2) Check the vibrations surrounding area which we try to build the Clean Room. So we can prevent wasting a lots of time and costs. 3. Architectural considerations for the Air Current Control. 1) Consider the heights of floor level by following the air conditioning system of the industrial Clean Room to make the process fluent. 2) Secure the place for the controlled stream so that it doesn't affect the deployment of production machine and process of production inside the Room. 3) The door which is at the inside and outside of the Room have to be easy to open and close because the air pressure of inside the Room is run high pressured. And, we have to check to strength of the architectural materials inside the Clean Room and consider the structural stability of construction methods. I believe it is important that we have provided significant data and basic clue for the architectural considerations of Industrial Clean Room. We also have to make more effort to the systematical research by collecting wider cases.

        A Study on the Development Direction for the Display Equipments Industry Chi Young Jung Department of Display Engineering, Graduate School of Industry Kumoh National Institute of Technology Abstract The world display market is rapidly changing since 2003, as market share of CRT decreases and market share of FPD is rising 14% per year. In order to follow the world market trend, large investment on display manufacturing facilities took place. The size of display equipment industry is depended upon this facility investment. While the most of FPD manufacturing facility investments are concentrated in Asian TFT-LCD lines, over 70% of world display equipment market is occupied by USA & Japanese companies that possessed superior technology and marketing. Korean display equipment companies also try to obtain technology Patent in every display manufacturing process, but mostly limited to test and assembly equipment which are relatively easy to approach at this moment. For this reason, we need organized localization strategy through R&D and technology transfer based on long-term equipment technology development road-map. In this study, I examined and analysed the present situation of world display equipment industry and compared to the activities of local companies. Analysed current technology level and technology development strategies in the 4 major categories of display equipment sorted by the priority, success possibility, ripple effects, market size. The major 4 categories consist of 1. display element property encounter covergence equipment, 2. process simplification and cluster equipment, 3. fine line width processing equipment, 4. high-tech new process core equipment. In the conclusion, I examined the situation of local display equipment industry to analyse SWOT and suggested strategy to solve the problems through 4 cycle structure technology development - marketing & localization - core component development - specialized human resource development.

      • 산업재해의 공상처리 실태 및 개선방안 : 대구, 경북소재 중소기업 설문조사 중심으로

        It was investigated the state and its proper countermeasures of unreported industrial accidents in Gyungbuk area in this thesis. A survey was conducted for safety personnel serve in the enterprises located at two cities in Gyungbuk, Gumi and Pohang where the major industrial complex reside. The goal of the thesis was to identify whether the category and size of the enterprise affect the number of unreported accidents and the reason of those omission. Results from the survey indicated that there were significant numbers of unreported accidents especially in the small and medium sized industries. Types of the accidents, amount of increase in the insurance cost and level of the governmental enforcement due to the accidents were the major factors for deciding whether to report or not. These results suggested more compromising actions have to be taken by the government for revealing the present but unreported industrial accidents. A more efficient way for preventing the industrial accidents can be considered on the basis of true understanding about real industrial situations.

      • 구미디지털전자산업관(GUMICO)의 운영실태 및 개선방안

        Convention industry is called the "Flower of Knowledge Industry" and the "Factory without Chimney". As a high value-added industry that not only promotes host area, also develops local economy. It has great ripple effects over politics, culture, and society. Many developed countries have recognized importance of convention industry, and they already built the fundamental part of the industry. Korea is looking for various measures to follow up other countries and reinforces the competitiveness in this industry. Convention industry is growing its size day by day, both meetings and exhibitions are held in parallel. the scale of existing hotels and resorts were not big enough to hold events. As a result, convention center began to be built. Convention centers have large-scale exhibition halls, convention halls, and conference rooms, which can accept a large number of people and restrictions come from the size of venue have been largely resolved. It is a facility that can provide one-stop service by having various food and beverage facilities. Several local governments have established convention centers, paying attention to the ripple effects of the convention industry and the benefits of the construction of convention centers. Currently they are planning to build more convention centers in other areas. Purpose of this study is to examine the current status and problems of the Gumico, which is the first convention center in Gyeongbuk Province, and suggest ways to make it better. In order to achieve the purpose of this research, theoretical background of convention industry and convention centers were reviewed. The operation status was analyzed based on the statistical data of Gumico, and conducted interviews with relevant industry officials. I found several critical problems that restricted the potential of Gumico. First, unstable organizational structure, and lack of professional manpower. Second, lack of facility and land-related problems. Third, lack of infrastructure. Fourth, awareness of convention industry. For activating Gumico, reorganizing the organization structure, expansion of facilities, development of promotion and event programs must be executed. 컨벤션산업은 개최지역의 홍보, 지역경제 발전, 국민소득 증대 뿐 아니라 정치·문화·사회적으로도 큰 파급효과를 가져오는 고부가가치 산업으로 ‘지식산업의 꽃’, ‘굴뚝없는 공장’ 등으로 불린다. 이미 선진국에서는 컨벤션산업에 대한 중요성을 인식하여 지원을 아끼지 않고 있으며 우리나라도 다양한 법적·제도적 지원방안을 마련하고 있다. 컨벤션산업은 나날이 규모가 커지고 있으며 회의 뿐 아니라 전시회도 병행되어 개최되는 추세이다. 이에 따라 기존 호텔, 리조트 등에서는 행사 규모를 감당할 수 없게 되었고, 컨벤션센터가 건립되기 시작하였다. 컨벤션센터는 넓은 규모의 전시장과 다수의 인원을 수용할 수 있는 컨벤션홀·회의실을 보유함에 따라 개최규모의 제약이 상당부분 해소 되었으며, 각종 식음 및 부대시설까지 보유하여 원스톱 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 시설이다. 컨벤션산업의 파급효과와 컨벤션센터 건립에 따른 이점에 주목한 여러 지자체에서 컨벤션센터를 건립하였고 현재 다른 지역에서도 건립 예정 및 추진 중이다. 본 연구의 목적은 그 중 경북에서 최초로 건립된 구미디지털전자산업관(GUMICO)의 운영현황과 문제점을 살펴보고 개선방안을 제시하는 것이다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해서 문헌연구와 컨벤션산업, 컨벤션센터에 대한 이론적 배경을 검토하고 구미디지털전자산업관의 통계자료를 중심으로 운영실태를 분석하였으며, 관련 산업 관계자 심층 면담을 병행 실시하였다. 연구를 진행하면서 살펴본 구미디지털전자산업관의 문제점은 첫째, 불안정한 조직구조와 전문인력 부족, 둘째, 시설 규모의 부족과 토지 관련 문제, 셋째, 인프라 부족, 넷째, 컨벤션산업에 대한 인식이 주요 문제점으로 나타났다. 개선방안으로는 조직구조 개편, 시설 확충, 홍보 및 행사 프로그램 개발과 같은 방법이 있으며, 이를 바탕으로 구미디지털전자산업관을 보다 활성화 시킬 수 있다.

      • 우리나라 관광산업의 e-Business 도입현황 및 발전방안 연구

        As tourism industry has been emerged as a leading industry that drives national economic development of the 21st century along with the development of information technology, adoption of E-business is inevitable from now on. The purpose of this study is to suggest a brand new activation plan after analyzing cases studies from tourism, commodities and airline services of e-Business conversion. In order to achieve the purpose, the study analyzed successful case studies of e-Business in each phases and in categories based on the literature review. Furthermore, derived specific activation plans in the future. As a result, since those are mostly in a small size field, the e-Business of tourism industry in Korea is in start up phase. However, those shown enterprises in the cases, are in 2nd phase. Now, most importantly, achievement of high quality human resources and affirmative support of the government is essential only to enable the prosperity of the e-Business in tourism industry with continual competitive edge. Since we will be facing ubiquitous era, I expect that introduction and revitalization of the mobile E-business in tourism industry would be a major issue in the future which will lead to a primary development factor of the tourism industry.

      • Product Platform을 고려한 TFT-LCD 산업의 제품최적화에 관한 연구

        A Study on Product Optimization Considering Product Platform in Industrial of TFT-LCD Jeong - Seok Jo Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering, Graduate School of Industry, Kumoh National Institute of Technology Abstract Many firms now realize the importance of planning product platforms. However, little research addresses planning and execution of different types of project within a product family. Also the definitions of the product platform are substantial difference at every author. So, we file the definition of product platform and associated core concepts and we discuss the benefits of a platform strategy. In this thesis, we empirically tried to approach the product development procedure considering product platform in TFT-LCD industry. At the beginning, we assigned current product as a subject of study and we analyzed current product development procedure. Secondly, we suggested that current product development procedure follows the product/process life cycle theory taking into account the product platform. Lastly to verify its effects, we conducted the diversity analysis with the assigned. As a result of the diversity analysis, we can expect that our proposal has considerable effects in TFT-LCD industry.

      • 천정 크레인 중대재해 분석에 의한 재해예방에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 천정 크레인 중대재해 분석을 통하여 크레인을 사용하는 사업장에 표준 안전대책을 제시함으로써 천정 크레인에 의한 산업재해를 예방하고 감소시키고자 한다. 2000년부터 2018년 까지 안전보건공단 시스템에 등록된 국내 제조업 크레인 중대재해 사례를 분석한 결과 천정 크레인 작업종류별 사망재해 현황은 크레인 정상작업(67.44%)이 크레인 정비, 점검, 검사준비 등에 비해 압도적으로 높았다. 또한 제조업 천정 크레인 접촉부위별 사망재해를 분석한 결과 인양물과 근로자가 접촉하여 발생한 사망 재해가 23명(53.49%)으로 가장 높았다. 이러한 재해발생의 주요 원인을 살펴보면 운전자 안전거리 미확보, 작업반경 내 주변 근로자 접근 등의 순으로 나타났다. 이에 대한 대책으로 RFID(전자태그) 안전관리시스템 적용, 안전반경을 표시하는 레이저 빔 설치, 운전자 안전반경 내 접근에 따른 경보음 발생장치 설치 등 재해원인에 따른 다양한 기술적/공학적 표준 안전대책을 제시하였고, 제시된 표준 안전대책을 적용하여 재해감소 효과를 시뮬레이션 해본 결과 중대재해가 약 48.84% 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. This study aims to prevent and reduce industrial disasters caused by overhead traveling cranes by presenting standard safety measures to workplaces using cranes through analysis of serious disasters of overhead traveling cranes. As a result of analyzing the serious disasters in the domestic manufacturing cranes registered in the Kosha system from 2000 to 2018, the status of death accidents by work type of overhead traveling cranes is normal work (67.44%). It is overwhelmingly higher than the back. In addition, as a result of analyzing the death disasters by the contact point of the overhead traveling cranes in the manufacturing industry, the number of deaths caused by contact between salvage goods and workers was the highest (23.53%). Looking at the main causes of such accidents, the crane operator's safety distance was not secured, and workers in the work radius were approached. As a countermeasure against this, various technical / engineering standard safety measures were suggested according to the cause of the disaster, such as the application of an RFID (electronic tag) safety management system, installation of a laser beam to indicate the safety radius, and installation of an alarm sound generating device according to the approach within the crane operator's safety radius. As a result of simulating the effect of disaster reduction by applying the proposed standard safety measures, it was found that the serious disaster decreased by 48.84%.

      • 텍스트마이닝을 활용한 제조업 ESG 트렌드 분석 및 예측 프레임워크

        The European Union(EU)는 비재무지표인 ESG(Environment, Social, Governance) 보고서의 의무 공시를 법으로 제정할 예정이며, 2026년부터 탄소국경조정제도(CBAM)를 본격 시행한다. 블랙록, 뱅가드, 스테이트스트리트, 필델리티 등 대형 자산운용사들은 ESG 투자의 중요성을 강조하며, 투자상품을 지속해서 출시하고 있다. 우리나라의 경우 금융위원회는 2021년 1월, 자산 2조원 이상 기업은 2025년부터 ESG 정보를 의무적으로 공시하고, 2030년부터는 유가증권시장 전체 상장사로 확대한다는 계획을 발표하였다. 그로 인해 국내 주요 대𐄁중견기업들은 앞다투어 ESG 경영을 전면에 내세우고 있으며, 이와 관련된 전담부서 설치 및 지속가능경영 보고서를 발행하는 등 ESG 경영을 최우선 과제로 선정하고 있다. ESG는 대기업에만 국한되는 것은 아니다. 우리나라 제조업은 대기업을 중심으로 중소기업까지 가치사슬이 형성되어있다. 대기업은 중소기업을 협력사로 두고 부품, 소재, 생산, 유통, 판매 등 다양한 분야에서 협력하고 있다. 따라서 중견·중소기업도 ESG 경영을 준비하지 않으면 가치사슬에서 배제될 수도 있다. 본 연구는 2013년부터 2022년까지 국내 유가시장 매출액 상위 기업 중 일부를 전자, 자동차 업계로 분류 후 대기업 지속가능경영 보고서의 키워드 트렌드를 연도별, 산업별로 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 2023년 지속가능경영 보고서의 키워드를 예측하고, 예측 모델별 정확도를 비교하였다. 그리고 최근 ESG 보고서를 발간하기 시작한 중소기업 2개사의 키워드 트렌드를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 전자업계와 자동차업계에서 가장 많이 사용된 키워드는 ‘협력’이었다. 이는 지속가능경영을 달성하기 위해서는 단일 기업의 노력만으로는 불가능하고 이해관계자들과 ‘협력’이 무엇보다도 중요하기 때문에 가장 높은 빈도로 사용된 것으로 예측된다. 또한, 키워드 트렌드를 분석한 결과를 이용하여 2023년 전자업계 지속가능경영 보고서 키워드를 딥러닝 기법인 LSTM, Double LSTM, DNN을 사용하여 예측 모델을 만들고 키워드를 예측한 결과 각각 0.58, 0.58, 0.44의 정확도를 보였다. 마지막으로 중소기업의 경우 ‘경영', ‘환경', ‘직원' 등 기업 경영에 대한 키워드가 고빈도로 나타나는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구가 새롭게 ESG 경영을 시작하는 중견·중소기업에 도움이 되었으면 한다.
