        世界의 先進國에서는 人間과 물의 관계, 都市生活과 물, 都市形成 내지 都市文明의 發展과 물과의 相關性에 대한 認識이 높아지고 있다. 특히, 都市發生의 主要因子이자 都市發展의 必要條件이었던 워터프론트의 役割에 대한 再認識은 都市에서의 人間性 回復이라고 하는 人命題를 해결할 수 있는 새로운 都市空間으로 까지 理解되고 있다. 그러나, 3面이 바다에 둘러 쌓여 있는 우리나라이지만 아직 워터프론트의 價値를 再認識하고 이를 높이기 硏究와 노력이 매우 미흡한 實情이다. 本 硏究所에서는 硏究所誌의 創刊號 發刊을 기념하기 위해 「都市와 워터프론트의 開發」이라는 主題로 特別硏究를 進行하였는 바, 이는 워터프론트가 지니고 있는 價値에 대한 認識을 다시 한번 再照明시켜야 하겠다는 생각에서, 그리고 앞으로 닥칠 우리나라의 워터프론트開發이 사람들에게 情趣와 平溫을 안겨 주는 魅力있고 快適한 커뮤니티空間으로 創出되어 져야 한다는 바램에서 이다.

      • 裡里市의 都市開發에 부응한 土地開發 供給方向

        This paper examines land development and supply policies that aim to meetswitch-over and a reorientation of the policy on urban and regional development. The purpose of this paper is to suggest the urban and regional development policies for the vitalization of Iri region toward the 21th century, which is characterized by a post-industrial society, an information-oriented society, an open society and so on. Chapter 2 provides the major contents and limitations of the Korea's typical. The suggested guidelines of urban and regional development policy toward 21th century could be summarized as the policy to promote a more balanced development, the policy to increase a diversity for a more mature society, the policy to create community identity or city identity, and the policy to achieve a recovery of hnmanity in urban spaces. Chapter 3 provides the land development accomplishments for the past period. And, the development policies for the vitalization of Iri rgion was suggested in two parts. One was the national and regional dimention, and another was the urban and community dimention. In the last part of this paper examines the policy implication of the present land In the last part of this paper examines the policy implication of the present landmark.

      • 우리나라 現代都市計劃의 變化過程에 관한 硏究

        This study aims to inquire into the changing process of modern urban planning in Korea between the year 1945 and 1971. The stage of modern urban planning in korea can be devided into four steps - firstly the transitional period from urban planning under the rule of Japanese Imperialism to Korean between the year 1945 and 1949, secondly the quickening period of modern urban planning between the year 1950 and 1957, thirdly the vacuum of urban planning between the year 1958 and 1961, fourthly the stabilized period of modern urban planning between the year 1962 and 1971. The characteristics of urban planning in time series are as follows. In the first stage, the urban planning is fragmentary policy oriented. In the second and third stage the project oriented urban planning is carried out in terms of reconstructing the war ravaged area. In the fourth stage, the comprehensive urban planning is carried out on the basis of institutional reconstruction and economic development planning.

      • 전라북도내 4개 도시의 사회기반시설 소요시설량 추정에 관한 연구 : 전북 4개도시 전주, 이리, 군산, 정주시를 대상으로

        The goal of this study is estimate the required urban facilities of 4 cities within Chollabuk Province Region by using the simple and multiple regression analysis at the horizon of 1996 and 2001. Before the estimation of urban facilities, first, the socio-economic factors to influence the urban facilities are evaluated by using the simple regression analysis with the stastical year book of Korea. Secondly, the 8 urban facilities are estimated with 7 socio-economic factors as independent variables using multiple regression analysis. Naturally we have had the problem of selecting the number of independent variables in the multiple regression midel for each facilities.

        A driving way is closely and directly related to the three main factors, which are enviornmental features of roads, driver's experience and knowledge and characteristics of acceleration and deceleration of moter vehicle. An attempt is carried out to express the cognition scale of spacing between vehicles through driver's language experimental for spacing hedway on aterial road. And then, T-test treals to check the testee's characteristics for the cognition level of spacing between vehicles.

      • 全北의 交通事故 特性 및 事故減少對策에 관한 硏究

        Traffic accidents bring about not only personnel injuries but also enormous social economic losses. In Chunbuk Province, the total amount of traffic accidents has increased at the annual average rate of 8.8% during recent 10 years (1982∼1992), which is higher than that of 6.2% in the whole country of Korea during the same period. The purposes of this study were to investigate the characteristics of traffic accidents and to propose the countermeasures diminishing traffic accidents, paticulary appropriate to the regional dimension, in Chunbuk Province. In Chunbuk Province the proportion of pedestrian accidents and the rate of traffic deaths to the whole traffic accidents were respectively higher than those of the whole country paticularly on national highways. In this study the countermeasures to diminish these traffic accidents were proposed from the viewpoint of comprehensive approach including human, road environmental and institutional aspects.
