        선우휘 소설에 나타난 언론 주체 연구

        So far Seon-woo Hwi has been praised as the activistic humanist or criticized as the conservative anti-communist by critics. But the real work of his novels can"t be understood distinctly with regard to humanism or anti-communism, because many aspects of his novels are ironically mixed. Therefore in this article, I investigated into the novels which previous studies had not discussed much. First novel I examined was 『The Castle』 that the novel Seon-woo Hwi published for the first time, the novel has been wrongly reputed as the title of 『The Ghost』. The novel is a story of a ghost that watch and record his observation of the human world. And by the rule of the ghost world, he should be emotionaly neutral to human and record the human events rationally and objectively. In that respect, the ghost is an allegory of journalists that have to be politically neutral about recording realities. Second novel I observed was 『The Fort』. The novel distinguishes between the person who looks and the person who shows, that kind of divide is also a allegory of journalists and ideologists. The writer put emphasis on the person who looks which means journalist recording the truth of realities as objective observers. Third novel I would discuss is the 『Ho-jeop-mong』 and the title means "butterfly"s dream" from old fable of Chuang Tzu. The novel contains the criticism to a person that just closed his eyes whenever he confronted to the big tragic event of Korea like the Korean War of 4·19 revolution as if there were nothing happened. Three novels can be bind together when we recognize them as allegories of the subject as journalists. Korean media"s history has been a struggle with the government. The government tried to take control of the media, and the media sometimes confronted to it and sometimes complied to it. The important point of the three novels the writer wanted to tell through the allegories of "observer", "person who looks", "person who close his eyes" was that journalists in modern Korea suffered and anguished with the social reality that the media could not function as an genuine observer for the truth. In South Korea, there always was conflicts between government and the media, and Seon-woo Hwi"s novels in the midst of such a reality show the role and position of journalists as the genuine observers of the reality.

        Lyriform vibration receptors in the web‐building spider, Nephila clavata (Araneidae: Araneae: Arachnida)

        Vibration receptors appear to be more necessary for web‐building spiders, but most knowledge of arachnid lyriform organs comes from the study of wandering spiders affected by ground vibrations. Here, we examined the fine structural aspects of the lyriform organs in the web‐building spider Nephila clavata using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) to fill the gap. The lyriform organ is found in all appendages, including the femur, patella, tibia, and metatarsal segments. A number of slit receptors of various sizes are distributed in the parallel orientation of the cuticle along the long axis. According to its fine structural characteristics, all lyriform organs of this spider are classified as a compound type with multiple cuticular slits. However, the number of cuticular slits per each lyriform organ varies considerably from a minimum of three to a maximum of 17. A total 35 pairs of lyriform organs were counted from an adult female spider. Except for small numerical variation in the 4th appendage, the distribution is remarkably constant within each appendage. Comparing the total number of cuticular slits per each appendage, the 3rd appendage has the highest number (85), but the 4th appendage shows the least number (63). Based on the total number of cuticular slits per leg segment, the patella segment seems to be the most sensitive to vibration reception in this orb‐web spider.

        논문(論文) : 근대 일본의 수로지에 나타난 울릉도,독도 인식

        The Japanese Recognition on Ulleungdo?Dokdo in Modern Pilot Song, Hwi-young [Abstract] Geographical recognition is very important for Dokdo sovereignty dispute. This is related to the recognition on Ulleungdo?Dokdo which reveals in every geographical records. This paper will review the Japanese Ulleungdo?Dokdo recognition after Meiji(1868) until Japanese coercive merge of Korea in modern geography records. Especially this paper focused on 『pilot』 which was published by Japan Ministry of Marine Department of Marine Sea etc. Because those facts could suggest a logical base if the foundation of Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Dokdo sovereignty by ``historical recognition`` and ``Terra Nulius`` would establish. We can point out three issues in the analysis for the pilot. First, the Japanese fisherman around Sanin(山陰) shore and Japanese Dajokan(太政官) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs consistently have recognised ?Ulleungdo=Takeshima, Dokdo=Matsushima? until late of 19C but Japan navy have recognised ?Ulleungdo=Matsushima, Dokdo=Liancourt? as different island. This kind of false recognition have induced the intentional annexation of Dokdo as Liancourt to Japan. This could be a same context with the past intention of Ulleungdo annexation by Tsushima province and the Takeshima one event. Second, the pilot read Ulleungdo and Dokdo as one set of geographical item in Ulleungdo until 1905 Dokdo annexation by Japan and from 1910 coercive merge of Korean peninsular by Japan to Korean liberation year. This view proves Japan have recognized Dokdo(Matsushima) as one of attached island of Ulleungdo (Takeshima) or neighbor island from Bafuku era. Third, modern Japan navy publish pilot shows obvious differentiation of territory. After 1895, Taiwan was included in Japanese territory in the 『Japan Pilot』 but others were included in 『Choseon Pilot』, which showed obvious view of the pilot recognizing the territorial sea and land in unit. So, the fact Dokdo?Ulleungdo was included in 『Choseon Pilot』 obviously proved the islands were belong to Choseon territory.

        ANALYZING UNCERTAINTY IN EVALUATION OF VEHICLE FUEL ECONOMY USING FTP-75

        Fuel economy is one of the major issues in the development of automobiles, along with performance and drivability. During a fuel economy test, the driver should follow the target schedule as closely as possible. However, it is impossible even for a skillful driver to completely follow the prescribed speed pattern; therefore, a speed tolerance, the extent to which violation of the prescribed speed pattern is permitted, is approved by the administrator of the test and has been used during fuel economy certification tests. Consequently, there is a difference in speed every time that a fuel economy certification test is conducted and therefore there is also a deviation in the certified fuel economy. Nevertheless, no research has been carried out into the deviation of fuel economy according to the observance of the target schedule by a driver. In this respect, this research aims to investigate the deviation of fuel economy which may take place during a fuel economy certification test. Fuel economy deviation is examined in three cases: driving at the highest or lowest speed in the defined range of speed tolerance, driving with the maximum or minimum tolerated acceleration, and driving with periodic variation from the prescribed speed. The periodic variation effects to the fuel economy deteriorated by more than 8%.

      • 완전 모형 추정법을 이용한 임상적으로 유의한 공변량 평가

        Adding covariates to model parameter using stepwise method are able to lead to covariate selection bias. Full model approach, which was allowing all relationships between parameters and covariates, were developed recently for improvement of selection bias. The main objective of this study was to evaluate covariates effect focused on clinical aspects using full model approach. A semi-mechanistic myelosuppression model with four structural parameters and a dataset containing 636 individuals and 3549 observations was used. The performance was evaluated in terms of model estimates and precision of parameters and ability to identify clinically relevant covariates. FOCE-I with NONMEM 7.2 assisted by PsN was used. Full model approach were successfully implemented, also good agreement in comparison with previous stepwise study, were found to be identified the same parameter-covariate relationships to be clinically relevant. Although full model approach and stepwise study performed equally well for finding covariates, however, full model approach has advantages in comparison with traditional methods when investigating clinically relevant covariates and minimize for statistical error.

      • 간척지에서 옥수수 나방류 해충 3종의 발생소장

        Occurrence of three troublesome lepidopterous pests, Ostrinia furnacalis, Helicoverpa armigera and Pseudaletia separata in corn cultivation of the reclaimed land were recorded using sex pheromone traps from 2012 to 2014. In case of O. furnacalis adult, two generations were observed in a year and its occurrence pattern was very regular. The 1st generation showed the highest occurrence in late May-early June and the 2nd generation was in late July-early August. On the other hand, H. armigera occurred at least three times a year but its occurrence was somewhat irregular. H. armigera adult showed the highest occurrence in mid May, late June, early August, respectively in 2012 but their occurrence patterns of the 2nd and 3rd generations were varied in 2013 and 2014. In case of P. separata, a few number of adult were captured during the survey period, indicating few number of P. separata migrated from China. Based on the control effect of O. furnacalis by Etofenprox and Carbofuranin 2012, June 26 treatment showed the highest control rate with 96.8% for Etofenprox, 85.8% for Carbofuran, respectively. Late treatment at June 19 and June 26 significantly decreased the control rate of O. furnacalis and June 26 treatment showed the lowest control rate of 1.9% for Etofenprox. 18.1% for Carbofuran, respectively.

      • 수혈혈액 신청에 있어서 신중성을 기하기 위한 조사 : 순천향 천안병원의 혈액반환양 및 반환사유분석을 중심으로 Focusing on the Amount of Returned Blood and Causes of Return in Soonchunhyang Chunan Hospital

        Careful blood requesting is very important to minimize wastage of precious blood. Excessive blood request causes increased return of unused blood and unnecessary loss in the process of return to blood bank. The standards of the American Association of Blood Banks(AABB) require that blood must be maintained continuously between 1 and 10℃ and most transfusion services have adopted a 30 minutes limit on the time that blood can be out of a monitored refrigerator. Many units of blood were discarded because they had been out of blood bank refrigerator for over 30 minutes. We investigated returned and discarded units of blood and causes of them in our hospital for 6 months. The results were obtained as follows 1. Among the total 14223 units issued, 367 units(2.6%) of blood were returned. The returned rate of each blood component: Whole blood(4%), platelet concentrate(3.4%), packed red cell(3.0%), fresh frozen plasma(0.96%). 2. The department of services that accounted for greatest return of blood units was chest surgery(7.2%) and the next order was OB and GYN surgery(3.9%), and neurosurgery(3.3%). 3. The most common causes of returned units of blood was improvement of patient's condition(51.8%) and the next order was expire(21.3), voluntary discharge(18.1%), transfer(3.3%), transfusion reaction(2.5%), fear for AIDS(1.6%) and refusal for therapy(1.4%). 4. When the units of blood were returned on account of the improvement of patient's condition, the range of Hb was 9.1-18.0/dl in the patients of surgery group and 9.1-14.0/dl in internal medicine respectively. Above results suggest that excessive blood request causes increased return of unused blood and unnecessary loss of blood units and that clinicians should request blood out of consideration for various situation including Hb level and patient's condition to minimize wastage of precious blood.

      • RAPD 다형성 및 ABO 유전자형 분석을 통한 사상체질간 유전적 거리에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 사상체질인 태음인, 소음인 그리고 소양인간의 유전적 상관관계를 Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA(RAPD) 분석법 및 ABO 유전자형의 대립유전자의 빈도 분석을 통하여 실시하였다. 체질간 DNA 다형성을 검출할 수 있는 RAPD 분석용의 primer의 빠른 선별을 위해 체질별 혼합된 DNA 시료를 분석에 사용하였다. 일차적으로 200종류의 RAPD primer로부터 다형성을 보이는 7종류의 primer를 선별하였다. RAPD밴드로터 체질간 bandsharing(BS) 값은 0.68에서 0.71범위에 있었고, 유전적 거리는 BS 값에 의해 구했다. RAPD의 BS값에 의한 태음인과 소음인간 유전적 거리는 0.002이고, 이 두 체질과 소양인간에는 0.005로 분석되었다. 또한 체질별 ABO 유전형을 조사하여 그들의 대립유전자 빈도를 추정해 체질간 유전적 거리를 산출했다. 그 결과 태음인과 소음인사이에 유전적 거리는 0.014이고, 소양인과 나머지 두 체질간에는 0.032였다. 위와 같이 RAPD 분석법과 ABO 대립유전자의 빈도분석에 의한 체질간 상관관계는 두 방법 모두에서 태음인과 소음인이 소양인 체질보다 유전적으로 더 가깝게 나타났다. This study was carried out to be establish genetic understanding of Sasang constitutions of Teaumin, Soumin and Soyangin by Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA(RAPD) and ABO alleles frequencies analysis. We have applied RAPD analysis to pooled DNA sample as a means to achieve rapid screening of large numbers of primers for their capacity to reveal constitutions-specific polymorphisms. From initial 200 primers, 7 polymorphic primers between different constitutions were selected. The RAPD bandsharings(BS) values ranged from 0.68 to 0.71 for between three constitutions. The genetic distance between three constitutions was measured by BS values. Genetic distance by RADP analysis was 0.002 between Teaumin and Soumin, and 0.005 between Soyangin and the others. Three Sasang constitutions were investigated by the genotyping of ABO genotypes, and genetic distance was calculated from ABO allele frequencies in each constitution. As a result, genetic distance was 0.014 between Teaumin and Soumin, and 0.032 between Soyangin and the others. In conclusion, the genetic distance of Teaumin and Soumin was closer than that of Soyangin in the analysis of RAPD and ABO alleles frequencies.
