        Effect of growth hormone releasing hormone on chondrocytes of osteoarthritis

        Background/Aims: To evaluate the effect and possible mechanism of growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) on chondrocytes of osteoarthritis (OA). Methods: Articular chondrocytes were cultured and the expression of GHRH receptor in chondrocytes was detected. Then recombinant adenovirus GHRH (Ad-GHRH) was transfected to one group of chondrocytes. The expression of collagen type II, matrix metalloproteinase 13 (MMP-13) and signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) in each experimental group was determined by Western blot. Results: The GHRH receptor was expressed in chondrocytes, and this provided a basis for further study of the role of GHRH in chondrocytes. Cell proliferation of the Ad-GHRH group was significantly higher than that of the OA group by CCK-8 assay. Compared with the OA-group, the protein expression of MMP13 was decreased in the Ad-GHRH group. Compared with the OA-group, the protein expression of collagen type II, phosphorylated STAT3 (P-STAT3) were increased in the Ad-GHRH group. Conclusions: Our results show that the GHRH receptor is expressed in chondrocytes. GHRH can promote the proliferation of chondrocytes and the synthesis of type II collagen, and increase the extracellular matrix, which is achieved by phosphorylated STAT3 protein.

        Predicting Mechanical State of High-Speed Railway Elevated Station Track System Using a Hybrid Prediction Model

        Elevated station track system is one of the most vulnerable parts in high-speed railway and prone to various defects during long-term service. The structural mechanical state will be deteriorated with the occurrence of defects, which will finally threaten the operation. Therefore, it is essential to monitor and accurately predict the structural mechanical state of elevated station track system. However, the existing prediction methods cannot achieve an accurate prediction of the structural mechanical state of the elevated station track system. Aiming at the problem, a hybrid model integrating wavelet transform, convolutional neural network, and long-term memory was proposed, which has the best performance compared with state-of-art methods and can be expanded to the state prediction of civil infrastructures. The prediction method can pre-evaluate the structural state, guide timely maintenance, and contribute to the safety of the high-speed railway.

        Based on the characteristics of the current Internet, China's Palace Museum, applying the 4I marketing principle, pays more attention to the interest and entertainment of its museum authorized cultural products from the design and development to the later promotion and sales, and pays more attention to enhancing the participation and interaction of consumers in the marketing promotion, so as to meet the interest expectations and personalized needs of consumers. Starting from the 4I principle, this paper attempts to summarize the methods suitable for the development and marketing of cultural and creative products in museums by combing and analyzing the design, development and marketing strategies of cultural and creative products of the Forbidden City, and tries to find new experience and marketing methods for the dissemination of traditional culture and the promotion of cultural and creative products for museums and other cultural institutions, so as to promote the dissemination of Chinese traditional cultural industry It provides new ideas and new directions for development.

        중국 현대 대중문화의 악무정신(樂舞精神) 표현에 관한 연구 ― 彭吉象의 미학 개념으로 본 애니메이션 <백사2: 청사의 시련>

        Focusing on the analysis and comparison between the aesthetic concept of the music and dance spirit(樂舞精神) of Peng Jixiang, and the “Philosophy of Musical Dance(樂舞觀)” in Chinese traditional culture, and analyzing the artistic expression on the music and dance spirit in Chinese animation film “Green Snake(白蛇2:青蛇劫起)”, and interpreting the external presentation and universal applicability of the internal spirit of Chinese traditional art in modern popular culture. In accordance with Peng Jixiang’s modern aesthetic theory, it analyzes the visualization of the script by centering on the dynamics of Tao(道), the spiritual space and artistic lines, thereby grasping the vital means of pushing the inner spirit of Chinese art into a complete concretization. As the second film of the White Snake series produced by Light Chaser Animation(追光動畫), this film not only successfully recaptures the essence of the aesthetic tradition embedded in Chinese animated films once again, but also surpasses the ancient and aesthetic style of ‘White Snake: The Origin(白蛇: 緣起)’ and introduces an adventurous style that integrates ancient and modern cultures. The film uses the dynamic dancing image to represent the spiritual freedom and the escape from obsession in the city of Shura(修羅城), where reality and time are tangled and united, and visualizes it on screen. Therefore, the inherent beauty of Chinese traditional culture is boldly innovated and extended in the modern cultural genre, also with the realization of the modern image transformation. Since the rapid diffusion of modern pop culture, the traditional spirit of Chinese art has been progressively influencing and guiding its inner spirit.

      • Double-frequency passive deformation sensor based on two-layer patch antenna

        To avoid the issues of incomplete strain transfer ratio and insufficient bonding strength of a monolithic stressed antenna, this paper presents an unstressed deformation sensor based on two-layer patch antenna for structural health monitoring. The proposed sensor is composed of a monolithic patch antenna and a stacked patch generating two fundamental resonant frequencies within a 3-to-7 GHz band. The resonant frequencies' shifts caused by the offset of the stacked patch were selected as the sensing parameters. An equivalent circuit was used to analyze the sensing method, which shows the relative displacement to be linear to the shift of resonant frequencies. This phenomenon was then checked by numerical simulation using the Ansoft High Frequency Structure Simulator 15 (HFSS15) and experiments in laboratory using both wired and wireless setups. Furthermore, the accuracy of measurement is verified to be increased by combining two resonant frequencies.

        Influence of pore structure of granular activated carbon prepared from anthracite on the adsorption of CO2, CH4 and N2

        A series of granular activated carbon (GAC) samples with similar surface chemical properties but different pore structures were prepared from anthracite. The maximum adsorption capacities of the prepared CO2, CH4, and N2 at 298 K and 2.0MPa were 4.27mmol/g, 2.54mmol/g, and 1.46mmol/g, respectively, and the adsorption selectivity parameters, i.e., CH4,N2 and CO2,CH4, were 3.23 and 3.06, respectively. By using the GAC with the optimum pore size as adsorbent, the concentration of methane in the nitrogen-methane (CH4/N2) mixture was concentrated from 30% to 63.5% via a single-column single-cycle pressure swing adsorption (PSA) process. The pore size distribution of the GAC samples was dominated by micropores, with specific surface area in the range of 330-500m2/g and micropore volume in the range of 0.12-0.19 cm3/g. Although the specific surface area and pore volume of micropores played an important role in the separation performance, the pore size distribution was found to be the decisive factor. In particular, the micropores with sizes in the range of 5.0-10.0 Å were the main factor affecting the concentrating effect of CH4 or CO2 by GAC.

        Experimental study on the combined effects of obstacles and local water mist on gas explosion for maritime safety

        A variety of experimental configurations including different water mist obstacles, are used to investigate the combined effects of obstacles and water mist upon the gas explosion. The results demonstrate the 8 mm water mist can significantly inhibit the deflagration, while both 45 mm and 80 mm water mists exhibit the opposite effect under all the locally distributed positions of water spray nozzle without obstacles inside the vessel. When considering the obstacles, the 45 mm water mist starts to mitigate the deflagration and its mitigation effect is more significant than that induced by the 8 mm water mist. What's more, the 80 mm water mist can slow down the flame propagation speed while it would still lead to the gas explosion. Additionally, there remains unchanged about the effect of locally spraying 8 mm water mist upon deflagration at the initial stage of flame development as varying the position of obstacles, while the effects of mitigating deflagration by 45 mm and 80 mm water mist are decreased. The results will make contributions to design the arrangement of equipment and water mist configuration on the offshore platform or NG-fueled ship's engine room so as to mitigate the gas explosion accident.

        Full-Duplex Underwater Acoustic Communications via Self-Interference Cancellation in Space

        Traditionally, underwater acoustic communicationsare half-duplex (HD), i.e., the hydrophones and transducersoperate in non-overlapping time-slots/frequency-bands in one di-rection. To double the spectral efficiency into the full-duplex (FD)mode, which transmit and receive signals simultaneously, a self-interference cancellation (SIC) technique in space is introducedand deployed. Specifically, a novel underwater acoustic system isproposed to perform FD-SIC efficiently via an integrated designcombining underwater acoustic vector sensor (AVS) and phasedarray transducer (PAT) to realize the spatial SIC. The energyfocusing function of the beamformer (BF) helps PAT avoid selfand mutual spatial interference. The AVS keeps updating thedirection of arrival information to let BF adjust the steeringangle via an adaptive protocol. The field-programmable gatearray (FPGA) Direction of Arrival Estimation (DOA) estimationis done by a 12-element AVS, run-time is 1.22×10−4 s byMUSIC method, which is promising for real-time applications. Inthis work, phase-shift keying (PSK) and PSK-based orthogonalfrequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) are deployed as theFD transmission modulation methods in the spacial SIC. Theproposal is evaluated and verified via both simulations andemulations in real underwater acoustic channels collected in theGulf of La Spezia, Italy, and it is able to achieve 59 dB SIC whilemodulating with binary phase-shift keying (BPSK) with carrierwave frequency 80 kHz and AVS steering angle −5◦. Moreover,it has at least 37 dB SIC within the steering angle region.

      • 1-부텐 저온 올리고머화 반응을 통한 장쇄 올레핀의 합성반응

        현재 북미지역은 셰일가스의 수압파쇄법의 발달로 인하여 풍부한 천연가스자원을 확보하고 있다. 셰일가스는 C1-C4 범위의 알칸을 함유하고 있으며 이는 다양한 화학산업에 원료로 사용될 수 있다. 올레핀(C2-C4)은 즉시 이용가능하고, 가격경제적이며, 쉽게 화학물질로 전환가능하여 화학산업에서 주요 building block으로 쓰이고 있다. 장쇄 올레핀은 산촉매를 사용한 C2-C4범위의 올레핀의 올리고머화 공정을 통하여 합성될 수 있다. 장쇄 올레핀 (C6-C30)은 폴리에틸렌 (40%), 알코올 (17%), 폴리알파올레핀 (12%), 플라스틱 (7%), 오일 (6%) 등에 사용할 수있다. 본 연구에서는, 제올라이트 (H-ferrierite)를 사용하여 1-부텐 올리고머화 반응을 진행하였다. Two-dimensional gas chromatography (GCxGC-FID-MS)를 사용하여 200개 이상의 이성질체를 포함한 파라핀, 올레핀, 아로마틱, 나프텐, 나프탈린을 검출하였다. 표면에 카보양이온 화학적 성질을 갖는 촉매가 반응공정 변수에 따라서 선택적으로 작동할 수 있는지 (1) Mechanism, (2) Kinetic, (3) Stability 측면에서 살펴보았다.
