Pedestrian Classification Based on Full-SVM Decision Tree
Hongmin Xue,Zhijing Liu,Jing Xiong 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.10 No.5
Visual analysis has potential to be used for recognition, and it is one of the hottest but most difficult subjects in computer vision. In order to identify pedestrian movement in an Intelligent Security Monitoring System, the video activity in the prospect is represented by a series of spatio-temporal interest points. Since human posture has the characteristics of uncertainty and illegibility, the clustering centers of each class are computed by fuzzy clustering techniques. We presented a pedestrian classification method based on improved support vector machines in order to solve non-rigid objects that are difficult to identify in intelligent monitoring systems. The Support Vector Machine technology and the decision tree have combined into one multi-class classifier so as to solve multi-class classification problems. Then a full-SVM (Support Vector Machine) decision tree is constructed based on the conventional decision tree. At last, the method is evaluated on the KTH action dataset and receives a comparatively high correct recognition rate.
Measurement and data processing method of machined surface for assembly performance prediction
Huan Guo,Zhijing Zhang,Muzheng Xiao,Xin Jin,Heng Liu 대한기계학회 2021 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.35 No.4
The assembly process cannot meet the increasing demands with the conventional method. To obtain an optimal assembly performance, the machined surface should be reconstructed, and further analysis should be conducted to provide a direct guidance for the assembling process. Surface topography can be represented by a sufficient number of points; however, the measurement of dense points would be time-consuming. In this study, the measured points are arranged in a nonuniform manner, and processed by interpolation for the reconstruction of the actual surface and the prediction of the assembly performance. Point clouds processed by 4 interpolation methods were used to verify the proposed method. The sampling strategy and data processing was concluded to be accurate; measurement time was significantly decreased compared to the dense points. It is proposed that the three indexes should be taken into consideration when the method is used to process the measurement data of different machined surfaces.

Ji, Zhibin,Wang, Guizhi,Zhang, Chunlan,Xie, Zhijing,Liu, Zhaohua,Wang, Jianmin Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2013 Animal Bioscience Vol.26 No.3
MicroRNAs are a class of endogenous small RNAs that play important roles in post-transcriptional gene regulation by directing degradation of mRNAs or facilitating repression of target gene translation. In this study, three small RNA cDNA libraries from the mammary gland tissues of Laoshan dairy goats (Capra hircus) were constructed and sequenced, individually. Through Solexa high-throughput sequencing and bioinformatics analysis, we obtained 50 presumptive novel miRNAs candidates, and 55,448 putative target genes were predicted. GO annotations and KEGG pathway analyses showed the majority of target genes were involved in various biological processes and metabolic pathways. Our results discovered more information about the regulation network between miRNAs and mRNAs and paved a foundation for the molecular genetics of mammary gland development in goats.

CeOx/C supported PtCu thin film catalysts were prepared by ion beam sputtering (IBS) and subsequently annealed at 400℃ under vacuum environment and electrochemically dealloyed. Scanning transmission electronic microscope (STEM) and atomic force microscope (AFM) characterizations show that the surface of post-processed catalyst presents nanoporous structure and has a high root mean square roughness ( RMS=13.9 nm). Electrochemical measurements indicate that the post-processed PtCu – CeOx/C catalyst shows higher catalytic activity towards hydrogen evolution reaction than pure Pt/C. While inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) analysis displays that the platinum (Pt) loading of the post-processed PtCu – CeOx/C is 0.1192 mg/cm2, decreasing by 20% compare to pure Pt/C (0.1490 mg/cm2). X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis confirms that the surface of post-processed PtCu – CeOx/C enrich Pt and analyzes the chemical valence of Pt element using depth profiling technology. It can be inferred that the enhancement in catalytic property is attributed to the combined action between geometric structure effect and electronic modification effect of Pt atoms from CeOx support.

Operating tunnels are often located in complex geological conditions and are prone to various types of damage. Even after structural repair, the repaired material may be vulnerable to secondary damage. It is difficult to effectively repair operating tunnel damage. Hence, developing high-performance repair materials for tunnel structures is critical. This study aimed to develop repair materials by studying the synergistic effects of fiber and polymers. The effectof polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fiber and PTB (COMPAKTUNA.PRO) emulsion on the compressive strength (40 × 40 × 40 mm, GB/T 17671-2020), flexural strength (40 × 40 × 160 mm, GB/T 17671-2020), uniaxial tensile properties (330 × 60 × 13 mm, JC/T 2461-2018), bond strength (40 × 40 × 160 mm, JC/T 2537-2019), rapid chloride migration coefficient (ϕ100 × 50 mm, GB/T 50082-2009), porosity (40 × 40 × 40 mm, SY/T 6490-2014), and scanning electron microscopy (less than 1 cm3, GB/T 27788-2020) was analysed. The test was completed in the laboratory of our school, and the average value of three specimens per mix ratio was taken. The results indicate that both PVA fiber and PTB emulsion addition reduce the compressive strength but significantly increase the flexural strength, tensile strength, and ultimate tensile strain of cementitious composite. The compressive-to-flexural strength ratio decreases, and the uniaxial compression toughness index increases. The cementitious composites exhibit good integrity after damage. The influence of the PVA fiber is more potent than that of the PTB emulsion. The PTB emulsion increases the impermeability and bonding strength of the cementitious composite and can improve the disadvantages caused by adding the PVA fibers. The bridging effect of the PVA fiber and the membrane-forming effect of the PTB emulsion together influence the performance and cause a synergistic effect to achieve superposition and complementation of advantages. The optimal content of the PVA fiber and PTB emulsion under the synergistic effect can be obtained. The findings can provide a theoretical basis for the optimal design and practical application of restoration materials.
Spectral Clustering with Sparse Graph Construction Based on Markov Random Walk
( Jiangzhong Cao ),( Pei Chen ),( Bingo Wing-kuen Ling ),( Zhijing Yang ),( Qingyun Dai ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2015 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.9 No.7
Spectral clustering has become one of the most popular clustering approaches in recent years. Similarity graph constructed on the data is one of the key factors that influence the performance of spectral clustering. However, the similarity graphs constructed by existing methods usually contain some unreliable edges. To construct reliable similarity graph for spectral clustering, an efficient method based on Markov random walk (MRW) is proposed in this paper. In the proposed method, theMRW model is defined on the raw k-NN graph and the neighbors of each sample are determined by the probability of the MRW. Since the high order transition probabilities carry complex relationships among data, the neighbors in the graph determined by our proposed method are more reliable than those of the existing methods. Experiments are performed on the synthetic and real-world datasets for performance evaluation and comparison. The results show that the graph obtained by our proposed method reflects the structure of the data better than those of the state-of-the-art methods and can effectively improve the performance of spectral clustering.

Liteng Yang,Xin Liu,Ning Zhang,Gaohui Wu,Lifang Chen,Jingyi Xu,Xi Ren,Xiaoming Jiang,Zhijing Huang 대한독성 유전단백체 학회 2020 Molecular & cellular toxicology Vol.16 No.2
Background It is known that flavonoids in Resina Draconis (FRD) have anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, but the function and mechanisms of FRD against pulmonary fibrosis remain unknown. Objective The study aimed to study the effect and mechanism of FRD on pulmonary fibrosis. Methods Pulmonary fibroblasts were isolated and identified. After treatment with transforming growth factor (TGF)-β1 and FRD-containing serum, expressions of TGF-β1, Jagged1, Notch1, alpha-smooth muscle actin, and collagen I were examined using real-time quantitative PCR and Western blot. Besides, the related proteins were verified in rats with bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis. Results We successfully isolated and identified pulmonary fibroblasts and proved that FRD-containing serum inhibits proliferation and downregulates Notch1 expression in TGF-β1-induced fibroblasts. Moreover, our results indicate that FRD might alleviate pulmonary fibrosis via the Jagged1/Notch1 signaling pathways in vivo. Conclusion Flavonoids in Resina Draconis might play a key role in pulmonary fibrosis via critical pathways, especially the TGF-β1 and NOTCH1 signaling pathways.
