Robust Fuzzy Varying Coefficient Regression Analysis with Crisp Inputs and Gaussian Fuzzy Output

This study presents a fuzzy varying coefficient regression model after deleting the outliers to improve the feasibility and effectiveness of the fuzzy regression model. The objective of our methodology is to allow the fuzzy regression coefficients to vary with a covariate, and simultaneously avoid the impact of data contaminated by outliers. In this paper, fuzzy regression coefficients are represented by Gaussian fuzzy numbers. We also formulate suitable goodness of fit to evaluate the performance of the proposed methodology. An example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of our methodology.

A practical application of a supercapacitor energy storage system in a polarization instrument is proposed on the basis of theenergy storage requirements of an induced polarization (IP) transmitter for geophysical exploration. We focused on the energystorage system of a supercapacitor, the topology of the power converter, and the system control strategy as key technologies, andwe performed theoretical research and experimental tests on the system and developed an experimental platform. Theexperiments validated the theoretical research on the key technologies of the supercapacitor energy storage system anddemonstrated the effectiveness of the innovation. Results showed that the storage system is efficient and satisfies the energystorage needs of the IP transmitter.
Bifurcation of a predator-prey system with generation delay and habitat complexity

In this paper, we study a delayed predator-prey system with Holling type IV functional response incorporating the effect of habitat complexity. The results show that there exist stability switches and Hopf bifurcation occurs while the delay crosses a set of critical values. The explicit formulas which determine the direction and stability of Hopf bifurcation are obtained by the normal form theory and the center manifold theorem.

As a new wet chemical method, polymer template strategy uses monomer polymerization to form a continuous carbonnetwork. The carbon skeleton can make the carbothermal reduction reaction take place in the original, thus preventing theexcessive agglomeration of grains. The Al2O3 / C ceramic precursor were obtained by polymer template strategy, and thenAlON powders with 3 μm size were synthesized through a spark plasma sintering (SPS) method at 1,650 °C. We confirmedthat a continuous network of carbon chains was formed by polymerization to encapsulate the alumina powder, so as to reducethe contact growth of the grains during the high-temperature carbothermal reaction. We established that, when the mass ratioof carbon source to alumina was 1.6:10, the pure AlON powder could be prepared by calcining at 1,650 °C for 20 min in aflowing nitrogen atmosphere.

E-commerce is a cyber, electronic and informational business activities. Electronic commerce has been developing rapidly in recent years in China. Cloud computing provides a new idea for the development of electronic commerce. In practice, cloud computing also has a very good combination of e-commerce. To predict the profit of electronic commerce can find the existing problems, grasp the development trend, and make better management of electronic commerce. In this paper, we study the profit prediction of electronic commerce. Then, we propose an improved parallel PSO-LSSVM algorithm, and use this algorithm to predict the benefits of electronic commerce. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is effective and reliable.

This study compared the long-term effects of EYconsumption under two diet conditions: normal (ND ?EY) and high fat diet (HFD ? EY), on lipid metabolism inmice. ND ? EY did not increase serum triglycerides, totalcholesterol hepatic triglyceride concentrations, adiposetissue accumulation and glucose impairment, not leading tofatty liver. HFD ? EY markedly decreased adipose tissueaccumulation, the triglyceride and total cholesterol, andimproved serum HDL-C and blood glucose impairmentcompared with HFD. PLS-DA analyzes showed bothND ? EY and HFD ? EY could decrease serum C18:1and MUFA. HFD ? EY could further decrease hepaticC18:2 and PUFA and increase C18:1 and MUFA excretion,which were associated with lower expression of Elovl6 andhigher expression of Scd1 in liver. These results suggestthat HFD ? EY significantly improved dyslipidemiacaused by HFD through modifying lipid metabolism, andND ? EY did not adversely affect the biomarkersassociated with dyslipidemia risk, but showed less obviousregulation of lipid metabolism than HFD ? EY.
Quantized Consensus Control for Multi-UAVs based on Prescribed Performance

A distributed adaptive control approach based on a prescribed performance is proposed for multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (multi-UAVs) with disturbances and input quantization. The tracking error is converted into the consensus error by relying on the communication topology so that the distributed controller can be implemented. The radial basic function (RBF) neural network with composite learning is used to estimate the unknown nonlinear functions, and adaptive compensation terms are applied to compensate for the errors caused by filters and disturbances. A hysteretic quantizer is introduced to process the control input signal to relax the channel burden, and an estimator is implemented to solve the problem where the quantizer parameters are unknown. An improved Barrier Lyapunov function (BLF) is developed to ensure that the consensus error satisfies the prescribed performance requirements. Stability analysis proves that the tracking error and all signals in the closed-loop systems are bounded. Finally, all follower UAVs can track the virtual leader and maintain the given formation. A numerical simulation is provided to validate the effectiveness of the proposed control approach.

A series of proton exchange membranes were prepared by incorporating phosphonic functionalized siloxane into sulfonic poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenyleneoxide) (SPPO) and imidazole functionalized poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenyleneoxide) grafted with siloxane (IPPO-Si). Phosphonic acid functionalized siloxane was synthesized from amino trimethyl phosphonic acid (ATMP) and (3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane (APTES). FTIR results showed that 1-methylimidazole and APTES were successfully grafted onto polyphenylene oxide, and APTES successfully formed Si-O-Si crosslinked networks through hydrolytic crosslinking. The membranes were thermally stable up to 220 °C and exhibited excellent oxidative stability and mechanical performance. We also measured the proton conductivity of the membranes. The results showed that the proton conductivities of the composite membranes increased with the increasing of SPPO content at different degrees under high (100 °C-160 °C) and low (25 °C-80 °C) temperature conditions. Furthermore, the IPPO-SI-P/SPPO-30 has the best conductivity, reaching to 0.1131 S cm-1 at 80 °C, 100%RH and 0.1049 S cm-1 at 160 °C, 5%RH, respectively. Therefore, this novel membrane acts as a potential candidate for proton exchange membranes with a wider applicable temperature (25 °C-160 °C).
A novel visual tracking system with adaptive incremental extreme learning machine

This paper presents a novel discriminative visual tracking algorithm with an adaptive incremental extreme learning machine. The parameters for an adaptive incremental extreme learning machine are initialized at the first frame with a target that is manually assigned. At each frame, the training samples are collected and random Haar-like features are extracted. The proposed tracker updates the overall output weights for each frame, and the updated tracker is used to estimate the new location of the target in the next frame. The adaptive learning rate for the update of the overall output weights is estimated by using the confidence of the predicted target location at the current frame. Our experimental results indicate that the proposed tracker can manage various difficulties and can achieve better performance than other state-of-the-art trackers.
