In this paper, we introduce the concepts of ${\phi}$-torsion modules, ${\phi}$-flat modules, and ${\phi}$-von Neumann regular rings.

The trial was conducted to evaluate the effects of sea buckthorn leaves (SBL) on meat flavor in broilers during heat stress. A total 360 one-day-old Arbor Acre (AA) broilers (male) were randomly allotted to 4 treatments with 6 replicates pens pretreatment and 15 birds per pen. The control group was fed a basal diet, the experimental group I, II and III were fed the basal diet supplemented with 0.25%, 0.5%, 1% SBL, respectively. During the 4th week, broilers were exposed to heat stress conditions ($36{\pm}2^{\circ}C$), after which, muscle and liver samples were collected. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was performed to measure the content of inosine monophosphate (IMP); Real-Time PCR was performed to determine the expression of the ADSL gene. The results showed that the content of breast muscle IMP of group I, II and III was significantly increased 68%, 102% and 103% (p<0.01) compared with the control, respectively; the content of thigh muscle IMP of group II and III was significantly increased 56% and 58% (p<0.01), respectively. Additionally, ADSL mRNA expression in group I, II and III was increased significantly 80%, 65% and 49% (p<0.01) compared with the control, respectively. The content of IMP and expression of ADSL mRNA were increased by basal diet supplemented with SBL, therefore, the decrease of meat flavor caused by heat stress was relieved.

Perovskite structured barium titanate particles ($BaTiO_3$) platelets were synthesized by molten salt synthesis and topochemical microcrystal conversion. As the precursors of $BaTiO_3$, plate-like $BaBi_4Ti_4O_{15}$ particles were first synthesized by the reaction of $Bi_4Ti_3O_{12}$, $BaCO_3$, and $TiO_2$ at $1080^{\circ}C$ for 3 h in $BaCl_2$-KCl molten salt. After the topochemical reactions, layer-structured $BaBi_4Ti_4O_{15}$ particles transformed to the perovskite $BaTiO_3$ platelets. $BaTiO_3$ particles with thickness of approximately $0.5{\mu}m$ and a length of $10-15{\mu}m$ retained the morphology feature of the $BaBi_4Ti_4O_{15}$ precursor. For <001> $Pb(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-32.5PbTiO_3$ (PMNT)-5 wt % PbO piezoelectric ceramics textured with 5 vol % of $BaTiO_3$ templates, the Lotgering factor reached 0.82, and $d_{33}$ was 870 pC/N.
Synthesis of Vertically Aligned Carbon Nanotubes on Silicalite-1 Monolayer-Supported Substrate

<P>Monodisperse magneticF<SUB>e3</SUB><SUB>O4</SUB>nanoparticles (NPs) with the size of ca. 3.5 nm were prepared and used as the catalysts for the synthesis of vertically aligned carbon nanotube (VACNT) arrays. A silicalite-1 microcrystal monolayer was used as the support layer between catalyst NPs and the silicon substrate. Compared to our previous report which used radio-frequency- (rf-) sputteredF<SUB>e2</SUB><SUB>O3</SUB>film as the catalyst,F<SUB>e3</SUB><SUB>O4</SUB>NPs that were synthesized by wet chemical method showed an improved catalytic ability with less agglomeration. The silicalite-1 crystal monolayer acted as an effective “buffer” layer to prevent the catalyst NPs from agglomerating during the reaction process. It is believed that this is the first report that realizes the vertical alignment of CNTs over the zeolite monolayer, namely, silicalite-1 microcrystal monolayer, instead of using the intermediate anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) scaffold to regulate the growth direction of CNT products.</P>
Carbon Nanotube Synthesis and Growth Using Zeolite by Catalytic CVD and Applications

Since their first discovery, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have become a material central to the field of nanotechnology. Owing to their splendid physical, structural and chemical properties, they have the potential to impact a wide range of applications, including advanced ceramics, nanoelectronic devices, nanoscale sensors, solar cells, battery electrodes, and field emitters. This review summarizes the synthetic methods of preparing CNTs and focuses on the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method, especially catalytic CVD. In order to stabilize and disperse the catalyst nanoparticles (NPs) during synthesis, zeolite was implemented as the template to support metal-containing NPs, so that both CNTs in the bulk and on a 2D substrate were successfully synthesized. Despite more challenges ahead, there is always hope for widespread ever-new applications for CNTs with the development of technology.

Let R be a commutative ring with non-zero identity and let NN(R) = {I | I is a nonnil ideal of R}. Let M be an R-module and let ${\phi}-tor(M)=\{x{\in}M{\mid}Ix=0\text{ for some }I{\in}NN(R)\}$. If ${\phi}or(M)=M$, then M is called a ${\phi}$-torsion module. An R-module M is said to be ${\phi}$-flat, if $0{\rightarrow}{A{\otimes}_R}\;{M{\rightarrow}B{\otimes}_R}\;{M{\rightarrow}C{\otimes}_R}\;M{\rightarrow}0$ is an exact R-sequence, for any exact sequence of R-modules $0{\rightarrow}A{\rightarrow}B{\rightarrow}C{\rightarrow}0$, where C is ${\phi}$-torsion. In this paper, the concepts of NRD-submodules and NP-submodules are introduced, and the ${\phi}$-flat modules over a ${\phi}-Pr{\ddot{u}}fer$ ring are investigated.

Vocabulary teaching is an important part of international Chinese language teaching, especially in the advanced stage where vocabulary increases and word meanings are complex. Novice teachers often have insufficient teaching experience, resulting in unsatisfactory teaching results. This article uses a classroom transcript from the Confucius Institute at the Royal Academy of Cambodia as observation material. Through case transcription and analysis, it analyzes the specific problems that newbie TCSOL face in vocabulary teaching, draws relevant teaching insights, and helps newbie TCSOL cope with various problems that may arise in intermediate vocabulary teaching, providing direct reference for the implementation of vocabulary teaching for novice international Chinese teachers.
Novel fuzzy direct torque control based on constructed functional transformed grey model

To reduce the ripple of the magnetic flux and torque of motors and the reduce the hysteresis in motor speed control, an improved grey model predictive fuzzy direct torque control (DTC) method based on function transformation is proposed. First, a function transformation is used to transform the sampled sequences to nonnegative values. This overcomes the disadvantages caused by fluctuant and random sampling of the motor torque and stator flux linkage. Second, an equal dimensional new information model is used to keep the dimensions unchanged, which reduces the time to predict the motor parameters through the model. Moreover, the voltage space vector plane is divided into six sectors, which simplifies the fuzzy control system rules. Simulation results show that the proposed fuzzy direct torque control based on the improved grey model method reduces the influence of hysteresis on the control system, decreases the motor flux chain and torque ripple, improves the response speed of the torque and rotational speed, reduces overshoot, achieves good effects in terms of anti-interference capability and dynamic response, and improves the real-time performance and accuracy of the fuzzy control system.
A Facile Method for the Synthesis of Freestanding CuO Nanoleaf and Nanowire Films

A facile method to fabricate freestanding CuO nanoleaves and CuO nanowires-based films was demonstrated. $Cu(OH)_2$ nanoleaves and nanowires were prepared by a hydrolysis reaction in aqueous solution including pyridine and NaOH with the tailored concentrations at room temperature. The films of freestanding CuO nanoleaves and CuO nanowires can be successfully obtained via the simple vacuum infiltration following a thermal dehydration reaction. The morphologies and crystallinity of the $Cu(OH)_2$ nanoleaves/nanowires and CuO nanoleaves/nanowires were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM and FT-IR. The films fabricated with freestanding CuO nanoleaves and nanowires in this study may be applicable for building high-efficiency organic binder-free devices, such as gas sensors, batteries, photoelectrodes for water splitting and so on.
