        Characterization of Carbapenemase Genes in Enterobacteriaceae Species Exhibiting Decreased Susceptibility to Carbapenems in a University Hospital in Chongqing, China

        Background: Our study was to investigate the prevalence of carbapenemase genes in strains of Enterobacteriaceae species exhibiting decreased susceptibility to carbapenems in our hospital. Methods: The carbapenemase producing Enterobacteriaceae species were confirmed by modified Hodge test (MHT) and EDTA-disc synergy test which indicating the production of class B carbapenemases. PCR and sequencing analysis were used to identify the drugresistant genes. DNA fingerprinting based on enterobacterial repetitive intergenic consensus (ERIC)-PCR was applied to investigate the homology of Enterobacteriaceae species. Results: From a collection of 1,472 Enterobacteriaceae species, 18 isolates with decreased susceptibility to carbapenem treatment were identified and 9 of which were positive by MHT, and 6 of which produced class B carbapenemases. PCR and sequencing analysis of the 18 isolates revealed 4 different carbapenemase genes (blaIMP-8, blaoxa-1, blaIMP-26, and blaoxa-47) in 10 isolates, with the blaIMP-8 and blaoxa-1 genes being the most common (60-70% prevalence). ERIC-PCR showed 5, 2, and 2 unique genotypes for Enterobacter cloacae, Escherichia coli, and Klebsiella pneumoniae, respectively. Three E. coli strains isolated from different patients from the urologic surgery department exhibited the same DNA banding pattern, suggesting a possible clonal dissemination. Majority (17/18) of the carbapenem- unsusceptible Enterobacteriaceae species isolates was obtained from the surgery department of our hospital. Conclusions: The main carbapenemase genes of Enterobacteriaceae species in our hospital were blaIMP-8 and blaoxa-1. Prevalence of carbapenem resistance may be existed in surgery department and infection control should be taken for preventing further dissemination of drug-resistant strains.       • Research of Manufacturing Resource Sharing System Based on P2P

        To realize the equal sharing and full use of manufacturing resource, aiming at the convergence characteristics and dynamic changing behaviors of the distributed and stochastic manufacturing resources, according to the thought of peer-to-peer (P2P) and the Chord protocol, a distributed manufacturing resource sharing system model is proposed, making logic sub rings by the type of resources and the logic main rings by the super nodes. The relay of the resource rings and the convergence of different types of resources for application are completed by super nodes. The description template of the manufacturing resources and the Meta data model relating to the search keyword sets from the template are designed. The indexing process of the resources based on Meta data model and the hierarchical trust mechanism of the sharing system are elaborated; finally, an instance of the sharing system prototype is given.

      • Experimental Study on Synchronous Shifting for AMT without Synchronizer Based on Three-phase Induction Motor

        In order to reduce shifting jerks, synchronous shift is needed on transmission with gear ratios. How to achieve synchronous shift has been the difficulty of AMT (Automated Mechanical Transmission) without synchronizer, which is the main emphasis of shift schedule. In this paper, the experimental study on synchronous up-shifting and down-shifting is given by test-bed which consisted of three-phase induction motor and heavy-duty AMT without synchronizer. Based on shift model, the synchronous speed difference is put forward for the synchronous shift strategy. The synchronizing control strategy of up-shifting is proposed on the basis of the braking characteristics of TB (transmission brake). The synchronizing control strategy of down-shifting is given according to the characteristics of the three-phase induction motor. Under the conditions of various synchronous speed differences, the up-shifting experiments and down-shifting experiments are achieved. By comparisons, the best value of synchronous speed difference is discussed in terms of gear-position and working conditions. The results of shifting experiments show that the synchronous shifting strategies for AMT without synchronizer based on three-phase induction can decrease shifting jerks and improve shift qualities.

        Conflict Analysis of the Nanjing Yuhuan and A.O Smith Joint Venture Case

        Purpose –This paper is to study the process of the negative effects of Sino-foreign joint ventures, hoping to find out an effective path in which local enterprises can avoid the risks in the utilization of foreign capital, and ultimately achieve independent innovation. Research design, data, and methodology –The outflow of assets, the loss of local brands and the "technology hollowing-out" problem brought by joint ventures is becoming more and more serious. Based on conflict analysis graph model, this paper takes Yuhuan joint venture as an example to identify the conflict problem in Sino-foreign joint ventures. Results –The results of the stability analysis show that establishing joint venture cannot really realize the introduction of technology because the technology is fully controlled by the foreign part. So when introducing foreign capital, local enterprises should participate in R&D and master the initiative. Conclusions – Local enterprises should pay attention to patent containment and technology blockade of multinationals. Domestic enterprises should try to protect state-owned assets and local brands in Sino-foreign joint ventures. Independent innovation is the most effective strategy for the development of enterprises in China.

      • Cloud Gathering Model of Manufacturing Resources Based on P2P

        Under the environment of cloud manufacturing, in view of the self-organization of manufacturing resources based on the ideas of the hybrid P2P and Chord agreement, three layer network models of manufacturing resources have been constructed. According to the structure of geographical area, the bottom centralized resources ring was built in each area; logic ring was structured by the gathering nodes, namely regional resources managers; logic main ring was formed by super nodes. And logic rings are DHT overlay, which are two layers of network. This paper expounds the dynamic organization way for manufacturing resources of two layers of DHT and the layered trust mechanism of the gathering network. In the end, the prototype instance of the resources cloud was presented.

      • Importance of two consecutive methionines at the N-terminus of a cellulose synthase (PtdCesA8A) for normal wood cellulose synthesis in aspen.

        <P>All known orthologs of a secondary wall-associated cellulose synthase (CesA) gene from Arabidopsis, AtCesA8, encode CesA proteins with two consecutive methionines at their N-termini (MM or 2M). Here, we report that these 2Ms in an aspen ortholog of AtCesA8, PtdCesA8A, are important for maintaining normal wood cellulose biosynthesis in aspen trees. Overexpression of an altered PtdCesA8A cDNA encoding a PtdCesA8A protein missing one methionine at the N-terminus (1M) in aspen resulted in substantial decrease in cellulose content and caused negative effects on wood strength, suggesting that both methionines are essential for proper CesA expression and function in developing xylem tissues. Transcripts from a pair of paralogous native PtdCesA8 genes, as well as introduced PtdCesA8A:1M transgenes were significantly reduced in developing xylem tissues of transgenic aspen plants, suggestive of a co-suppression event. Overexpression of a native PtdCesA8A cDNA encoding a CesA protein with 2Ms at the N-terminus did not cause any such phenotypic changes. These results suggest the importance of 2Ms present at the N-terminus of PtdCesA8A protein during cellulose synthesis in aspen.</P>

      • Research of Enterprise Private Cloud Computing Platform Based on OpenStack

        The demand for computing resources is growing, but the input costs of the enterprise information system construction of the traditional way is too high, and has not the high utilization of the resources. In order to solve this contradiction, the enterprise private cloud platform architecture has been put forward based on open source system. By analyzing the mainstream open source cloud projects, the basis to choose OpenStack has been given. From the perspective of classification of the enterprise personnel, combining with the components of OpenStack, this paper expounds manufacture of the virtual image and distribution, monitor, and use of the virtual machine. At last, the user interface design is also given.
