        Yunwei CAI(Yunwei CAI),Nak-Hwan CHOI(Nak-Hwan CHOI) 한국유통과학회 2022 유통과학연구 Vol.20 No.9

Purpose: As sharing economy is becoming increasingly relevant to people’s lives, we want to understand why people participate in the sharing economy. We propose and validate three factors that are likely to influence consumers' choice of participating in the sharing economy at distribution market. Also, we found antecedents that affect these variables. These antecedents include appointment and return convenient, extended operating time, variety-seeking need, usage irregularity, other’s clean usage, and feeling of membership between users. Research design, data, and methodology: This research collected 341 questionnaire data from participants in China. These participants were asked about the usage of DiDi, the most popular shareware in China. The data analysis and hypothesis testing were conducted using SPSS and Amos. Results: Usage convenience, usefulness of short-term usage, and trust in other users were found to have a positive impact on consumers’ intention to participate in the sharing economy. In addition, we found that all the antecedents affect these variables positively. Conclusions: This research provides new driving factors for consumer participation in the sharing economy. Moreover, these findings will help managers develop marketing strategies for inducing the consumers to participate in the sharing economy.

Dual-Responsive Cross-Linked Micelles from Amphiphilic Four-Arm Star Copolymers with Different Block Ratios for Triggering DOX Release

        Yunwei Huang,Yanzhe Li,Zilun Tang,Qiuping Su,Tingting Liao,Yuxin Gu,Xiaofeng Lin,Xihong Zu,Wenjing Lin,Guobin Yi 한국고분자학회 2020 Macromolecular Research Vol.28 No.8

The four-arm star copolymers poly(methacrylic acid)-poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate-disulfide~)-poly(poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate) (4AS-PMAAx-(PHEMA-SS~)y-PPEGMAz) with four different block ratios were synthesized and could self-assembled into cross-linked polymer micelles for the exploration of the structure-property relationship. The cross-linked polymer micelles in aqueous solution had low critical micelle concentration (CMC) values (1.9-4.6 mg/L), which exhibited better stability than non-cross-linked micelles. The CMC value decreased with the increase of the length of inner PMAA core and hydrophobic PHEMA cross-linked middle layer. The blank and doxorubicin (DOX)- loaded micelles with different block ratios were prepared by dialysis with the particle sizes of 120-240 nm. The longer inner PMAA core and cross-linked middle layer enhanced the drug loading content (DLC) results and led to relatively bigger particle sizes of polymer micelles. The in vitro DOX release data revealed that DOX-loaded micelles had low DOX cumulative release percentages of 18-37% after 110 h at pH 7.4, but up to 83-90% when introducing reductant GSH at pH 5.0. The 4AS-PMAA21.2-(PHEMASS~) 13.1-PPEGMA5.1 micelles with the longest PMAA core had the largest cumulative release of 90.1%. The DOX release process and mechanism of the micelles at different conditions fitted well with the semi-empirical equation. Overall, the results demonstrated that the block ratios and pH/redox-responsiveness of these four-arm star copolymers could be well-controlled and their self-assembled cross-linked micelles as anticancer drug carrier system could be improved by optimizing the different ratios.

Detrimental effects of lipopolysaccharides on maturation of bovine oocytes

        Shanjiang Zhao,Yunwei Pang,Xueming Zhao,Weihua Du,Haisheng Hao,Huabin Zhu 아세아·태평양축산학회 2019 Animal Bioscience Vol.32 No.8

Objective: Gram-negative bacteria lipopolysaccharide (LPS) has been reported to be associated with uterine impairment, embryonic resorption, ovarian dysfunction, and follicle retardation. Here, we aimed to investigate the toxic effects of LPS on the maturation ability and parthenogenetic developmental competence of bovine oocytes. Methods: First, we developed an in vitro model to study the response of bovine cumulus-oocyte complexes (COCs) to LPS stress. After incubating germinal vesicle COCs in 10 μg/mL of LPS, we analyzed the following three aspects: the expression levels of the LPS receptor toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) in COCs, activities of intracellular signaling protein p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (p38 MAPK) and nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB); and the concentrations of interleukin (IL)-1β, tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, and IL-6. Furthermore, we determined the effects of LPS on the maturation ability and parthenogenetic developmental competence of bovine oocytes. Results: The results revealed that LPS treatment significantly elevated TLR4 mRNA and protein expression levels in COCs. Exposure of COCs to LPS also resulted in a marked increase in activity of the intracellular signaling protein p-p38 MAPK and NF-κB. Furthermore, oocytes cultured in maturation medium containing LPS had significantly higher concentrations of the proinflammatory cytokines IL-1β, TNF-α, and IL-6. LPS exposure significantly decreased the first polar body extrusion rate. The cytoplasmic maturation, characterized by polar body extrusion and distribution of peripheral cortical granules, was significantly impaired in LPS-treated oocytes. Moreover, LPS exposure significantly increased intracellular reactive oxygen species levels and the relative mRNA abundance of the antioxidants thioredoxin (Trx), Trx2, and peroxiredoxin 1 in oocytes. Moreover, the early apoptotic rate and the release of cytochrome C were significantly increased in response to LPS. The cleavage, morula, and blastocyst formation rates were significantly lower in parthenogenetically activated oocytes exposed to LPS, while the incidence of apoptotic nuclei in blastocysts was significantly increased. Conclusion: Together, these results provide an underlying mechanism by which LPS impairs maturation potential in bovine oocytes.

        SOME NEW BONNESEN-STYLE INEQUALITIES

        Jiazu Zhou,Yunwei Xia,Chunna Zeng 대한수학회 2011 대한수학회지 Vol.48 No.2

By evaluating the containment measure of one domain to contain another, we will derive some new Bonnesen-type inequalities (Theorem 2) via the method of integral geometry. We obtain Ren's suf-cient condition for one domain to contain another domain (Theorem 4). We also obtain some new geometric inequalities. Finally we give a simplied proof of the Bottema's result.

Effects of Lay Rationalism, Attitude Dimension and Involvement Type on Intent to Purchase Hedonic Product

        Nak-Hwan Choi,Yunwei CAI,Zhonghua Li 한국유통과학회 2019 유통과학연구 Vol.17 No.8

Purpose - This study aimed at investigating the mediation roles of attitude dimensions in the effects of involvement type on hedonic product purchase intention and moderation role of lay rationalism in the effects of involvement type on attitude dimensions. Research design, data, and Methodology – “Wenjuanxing” was used online to make questionnaire, which was loaded on Wechat and QQ. 125 data were collected online in China. The Process macro model 58 including moderation of the two paths in the causal sequence was used to verify hypotheses. Results and Conclusions - First, cognitive (affective) involvement had positive effect on the utilitarian (hedonic) dimension of consumer attitude and the purchase intention. Second, hedonic dimension of attitude had positive effects on purchase intention, but utilitarian dimension of attitude had not significant positive effects on purchase intention. Third, Lay rationalism did decrease (did not increase) the positive effects of affective (cognitive) involvement on hedonic (utilitarian) dimension of attitude. Therefore Marketing managers should understand the differences between the cognitive involvement and affective involvement, and develop the ways by which they attract consumers to choose their hedonic product. And they should give affective (cognitive) information to the customers with low (high) rationalism consumers when they do marketing for their hedonic product.

Analysis and Optimization of Cooperative Spectrum Sensing with Noisy Decision Transmission

( Quan Liu ),( Jun Gao ),( Yunwei Guo ),( Siyang Liu ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2011 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.5 No.4

Cooperative spectrum sensing (CSS) with decision fusion is considered as a key technology for tackling the challenges caused by fading/shadowing effects and noise uncertainty in spectrum sensing in cognitive radio. However, most existing solutions assume an error-free decision transmission, which is obviously not the case in realistic scenarios. This paper extends the general decision-fusion-based CSS scheme by considering the fading/shadowing effects and noise corruption in the common control channels. With this more practical model, the fusion centre first estimates the local decisions using a binary minimum error probability detector, and then combines them to get the final result. Theoretical analysis and simulation of this CSS scheme are performed over typical channels, which suggest some performance deterioration compared with the pure case that assumes an error-free decision transmission. Furthermore, the fusion strategy optimization in the proposed cooperation model is also investigated using the Bayesian criteria. The numerical results show that the total error rate of noisy CSS is higher than that of the pure case, and the optimal values of fusion parameter in the counting rule under both cases decrease as the local detection threshold increases.
