If optical fiber is polished with paraller, very long coupling length is obtainahle, so can make WDM optical Coupler that dividahle n's Wavelengths. In this paper, we propose the condition of the WDM optical coupler that can divide two wavelengths to n's Wavelengths.
정조대 토목공사의 의의와 역사문화환경으로의 보존 : 인공호수 만석거를 중심으로 Focused on the Man-made Lake Manseokgeo

The present research is to present a plan to preserve the man-made lake Manseokgeo which is a city foundation establishment related to Hwaseong Fortress in Suweon which has been registered as World Cultural Heritage in 1997, as a historical cultural environment. In order to obtain this object, we studied 1) the meaning and role of the influence of the construction of Manseokgeo on the society of its time based on the social situation when Manseokgeo Was constructed, 2) the state and role of the meaning of Manseokgeo as a historical cultural environment in current cities based on the significance of the construction of the man-made lake Manseokgeo, according to the transformation of the city as a historical cultural environment in the city, and finally 3) the plan to preserve and manage Manseokgeo as a historical cultural environment. The plan to preserve and manage has been presented in two aspects: one is a plan in the aspect of improving the physical environment, which is a plan to restore the scenery of Manseokgeo, and the other is a plan in the aspect of non physical management, which is a plan to appoint it as a historical park. The significance of the present research is to enlarge the subjects being preserved in historical cities so that they can expand city foundation establishments which support us to carry on city life.

Abstract-The pharmacological activities and pharmacokinetic aspects of a topical microemulsion (KDPM) containing 0.5% piroxicam were evaluated after its topical application compared with a commercially available 0.5% piroxicam gel (R gel). When the pharmacological activities were evaluated with the carrageenan-induced paw edema model, KDPM showed 55.6% edema inhibition, while R gel resulted in 37.1%. With the adjuvant-induced arthritis model, KDPM also resulted in the better pharmacological activities than R gel. The relative bioavailability of KDPM based on R gel was 176% in rabbits.
교정용 미니 임플랜트의 cutting flute의 길이 및 형태에 따른 식립 및 제거 토크의 비교

Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of length and shape of cutting flute on mechanical properties of orthodontic mini-implants. Methods: Three types of mini-implants with different flute patterns (Type A with 2.6 mm long flute, Type B with 3.9 mm long and straight flute, Type C with 3.9 mm long and helical flute) were inserted into the biomechanical test blocks (Sawbones Inc., USA) with 2 mm and 4 mm cortical bone thicknesses to test insertion and removal torque. Results: In 4 mm cortical bone thickness, Type C mini-implants showed highest maximum insertion torque, then Type A and Type B in order. Type C also showed shortest total insertion time and highest maximum removal torque, but Type A and B didn't showed statistically significant difference in insertion time and removal torque. In 2 mm cortical bone thickness, there were no significant difference in total insertion time and maximum removal torque in three types of mini-implants, but maximum insertion torque of Type A was higher than two other Types of mini-implants. Conclusions: Consideration about length and shape of cutting flute of mini-implant is also required when the placement site has thick cortical bone. 본 연구는 self-tapping screw의 특징적 구조인 cutting flute의 길이 및 형태 변화에 따른 미니 임플랜트의 식립 및 제거 토크를 비교해보기 위해 시행되었다. 외경, 내경, 길이 및 pitch 등 다른 조건이 모두 동일하고 cutting flute의 형태만 다른 세 종류의 미니 임플랜트를 사용하였다(A군; 2.6 mm 길이의 flute가 형성된 그룹, B군; 3.9 mm의 길이이면서 직선형의 flute를 갖는 그룹, C군; 3.9 mm의 길이이면서 나선형의 flute를 갖는 그룹). 골밀도를 균일하게 하기 위해 실험용 인공골(Sawbones Inc., USA)을 사용하였으며, 수직력 및 회전속도를 일정하게 하기 위해 구동식 토크 시험기를 이용하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 총 삽입 시간은 2 mm 두께의 피질골 시편에서는 세 군간에 차이를 보이지 않으나, 4 mm 두께의 피질골 시편에서는 C군 > B군 > A군 순으로 짧은 삽입 시간을 보였다. 최대 삽입 토크는 2 mm 두께의 시편에서는 A군이 다른 두 군에 비해 높은 값을 보이나, 4 mm 두께의 피질골 시편에서는 C군 > A군 > B군 순으로 높은 값을 보였다. 최대 제거 토크는 2 mm 두께의 피질골 시편에서는 세 군 사이에 차이가 없으나, 4 mm 두께의 피질골 시편에서는 C군이 다른 두 군에 비해 높은 값을 보여주었다. 이상의 결과로 보아 피질골이 두꺼운 부위에 미니 임플랜트를 식립할 경우 cutting flute의 길이 및 형태 또한 고려하여 미니 임플랜트를 선택하는 것이 바람직하다.

Wormhole routing is a popular switching technique for interprocessor communication in parallel computers. The wormhole router requires the hardware implimentaion. However, contemporary routers typically support only a few routing algorithms and a fixed switching scheme. However, maximizing system performance requires flexible routing to match application characteristics with routing-switching combination. This paper presents the architecture of high performance programmable flexible router for parallel computers with low routing latency. The routing engine of this router uses basically table lookup approach and the size of table is less than 1KB. This router can implement many useful routing algorithm with 1 or 2 flit cycles of routing latency. Therefore, the router has advantages in both performance and implementation cost.

공시된 세 품종의 고추에 대한 단기간의 오존 처리로 잎에서 나타나는 전형적인 증상은 갈색의 괴사 반응이었으며, 괴사가 심했던 오존 감수성인 다보탑과 같은 농도에서 괴사가 전혀 없었던 부촌 품종을 오존 저항성 품종으로 판단되었다. 고추의 두 품종에서 오존 처리에 의해 광합성 및 기공 전도도 등의 생리생태적 저해가 뚜렷이 나타났다. 그러나 잎에서 가시피해 정도와 생리생태적 저해 정도와의 상호 연관성으로 고추에서의 오존 저항성 기작을 설명하고자 하였으나 생리생태적 반응으로 잎에서 발생하는 오존 저항성의 기작을 설명할 수 없었다. 다만, 고추에서 오존 처리에 의한 광합성 감소는 뚜렷한 기공전도도 감소와 명반응에서 광합성 기구들의 손상에 기인한다고 여겨진다. 그러나, 암반응에서 생화학적 반응을 설명할 수 있는 A-Ci curve 상에서는 오존 처리에 따른 효과를 찾을 수 없었다. Ozone effects were studied by plant growth chamber to evaluate the impact of ozone (O₃) on the physiology of two hot pepper, Capsicum annuum L., cultivars, 'Dabotab' and 'Buchon'. Forty-day old plants with 5~7 leaves were exposed to O₃ of <20 and 150 nL/L for 8 h/d for 3 days. Net photosynthesis and stomatal conductance were measured and foliar injury was described. Foliar damage due to the treated O₃ was different from the varieties.'Dabotab' was most sensitive to O₃ and 'Buchon' was resistant. Symptom of ozone damage on the leaves was bifacial necrosis. Decreases of net photosynthesis by O₃ were 56% and 40% on 'Dabotab' and 'Buchon', respectively. Decreases of stomatal conductance by O₃ were 66% and 63% on each variety. O₃ damage on net photosynthesis was started at the low levels of light on the two hot peppers. In addition, assimilation-internal CO₂ concentration curves were not different from the two varieties. In conclusion, O₃ closed the stomata and decrease net photosynthesis on hot peppers regardless of the ozone sensitivity on leaf injury, but the difference of ecophysiological responses between the two varieties was not found clearly.

A glass chamber experiment was conducted to evaluate the impact of ozone(O_3) on the physiology of two soybean, Glycine max L. cultivars, 'Hwanggum" and 'Jangyub'. Thirty-day old plants with 1-2 nodes were exposed to O_3 of<10 and 150 nl l^-1 in the chambers for 8 h^d-1 for 3 days. Net photosynthesis, stomatal conductance, chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and total chlorophyll contents, and foliar injury(% injured leaves) were measured. Although foliar damage was more severe on Jangyub than on Hwanggum, net photosynthesis was decreased by 60% on Hwanggum and 13% on Jangyub due to the O_3 treatment. Stomatal conductance on Jangyub was twice higher than that on Hwanggum and 13% on was not changed by the O_3 treatment. Whereas, stomatal conductance on Hwanggum was 60-80% decreased by O_3. Chlorophyll contents did not change due to the O_3 treatment or variety. We can conclude that the reduction of net photosynthesis by O_3 was mainly due to the decreases of stomatal conductance and Rubisco (ribulose-1, 5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase) activity on dark reaction. And foliar injury and chlorophyll content did not contribute to the net photosynthetic decrease. The gas-exchange variables measured 24 h after the termination of O_3 fumigation showed that there was no significant recovery within a day. Since the physiological responses on Jangyub were not much affected by the O_3 treatment, this variety could be O_3 resistant.
