        Four new compounds from the bulbs of Lycoris aurea with neuroprotective effects against CoCl2 and H2O2-induced SH-SY5Y cell injuries

        Three new alkaloids, 2a-hydroxy-6-O-n-butyloduline,O-n-butyllycorenine, (-)-N-(chloromethyl)lycoramine(1–3), and a new phenolic compound, ((7S)-7-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-7-hydroxypropyl)-20-methylbenzene-30,60-diol (14), along with ten known alkaloids (4–13), wereisolated from the bulbs of Lycoris aurea collected fromHuaihua County of Hunan Province, China. Their structureswere elucidated by spectroscopic methods includingHRESIMS, UV, IR, and NMR. All the isolated compoundswere tested for their neuroprotective effects against CoCl2and H2O2-induced SH-SY5Y cell death. Compounds 1–7and 10 exhibited significant neuroprotective effects againstCoCl2-induced SH-SY5Y cell injury, while compounds1–5, 7, 10 and 12 showed obvious neuroprotective effectsagainst H2O2-induced SH-SY5Y cell death.

        Tryophagus putrescentiae induces inflammatory cytokine secretions from the human cell lines THP-1 and EoL-1 cells

        The present study aimed to identify the roles of the storage mite Tyrophagus putrescentiae (Tp) in relation to human skin diseases, such as atopic dermatitis. We examined the effects of T. putrescentiae extracts (TpE) on the secretion of inflammatory cytokines and their mRNA expression in human immune cells. Human monocytic THP-1 and eosinophilic EoL-1 cells were challenged with TpE and the inflammatory cytokines, interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8), and monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1) secreted in culture supernatant were analyzed using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The mRNA levels in the cell cultures were also measured via reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). In the THP-1 cells, the TpE significantly induced the secretion of IL-6, IL-8, and MCP-1 in a time- and dose-dependent manner. It also stimulated increases in the expression levels of the IL-6, IL-8, and MCP-1 mRNA. However, while the TpE induced IL-8 and MCP-1 mRNA levels in the EoL-1 cells, it did not induce IL-6 expression. Using Western blot analysis, we confirmed the activation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK), a member of the mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs), in response to TpE challenge of the THP-1 cells. Collectively, our results show that TpE challenge elicits inflammatory response in the human monocytic THP-1 and eosinophilic EoL-1 cells, and it induces increased production of the inflammatory cytokines IL-6, IL-8, and MCP-1.

        CPTED 관점에서 안전한 대학교캠퍼스를 위한 적용요소 연구

        The purpose of this study was to suggest the applicable factors for making safe campus focused on the CPTED. In order to do that, the questionnaire survey and the observation survey were conducted in the 3 universities in Jin-Ju. This study was processed as follows : first, the analyses of the relations among the variables such as satisfactory and important rate about the physical factors for crime prevention, fear of crime, and crime experienced rate. ; second, comparing analyses the questionnaire survey and the observation survey results among the universities. Followings are the results. : 1) the crime experienced rate was 25%, and the theft and breakage were happened frequently. The hotspots were lecture rooms, dormitories and parking lots. 2) as the fear of crime was higher, the satisfaction of crime prevention was lower. The unsafe places were promoted the fear of crime were basement floors, toilets, green zones, sidewalks and parking lots, etc. 3) the factors caused the fear of crime were insufficient lightings and CCTV, and blind spots among the buildings. 4) the important things for the making crime-free campus were the natural surveillance and access control focused on the CPTED. Especially, it was founded that the access control methods were more effective at indoor spaces and individual buildings, and the natural surveillance methods were more important outdoor spaces.

        텔레비전 역사드라마 〈이산〉의 정치적 성향 고찰

        2000년대 중반 이후 텔레비전 역사드라마는 군왕의 영웅적 면모가 아니라 인간적인 고뇌에 초점을 맞추면서 현대 사회가 필요로 하는 지도자의 덕목을 환기시키는 경향이 강해졌다. 그 결과 역사드라마에 내재될 수밖에 없는 역사 인식이 퇴조하는 대신에 방영 당시의 정치 상황에 따라 역사적 사실을 자의적으로 재구성하는 부작용이 나타나기 시작하였다. 개혁 담론이 풍성했던 2000년대 중반에 방영된, 조선왕조 제22대 임금 정조를 호출한 일련의 역사드라마들이 대표적인 경우였다. 특히 개혁군주 정조대왕의 일대기를 형상화한 〈이산〉은 노무현 정부에서 이명박 정부로 정권이 교체되던 시기에 방영되면서 정치 상황에 의해 극적 상황과 캐릭터가 변하는 문제를 드러냈다. 본고는 아버지 사도세자의 비극적인 죽음을 가슴에 묻은 세손 ‘이산’이 권력 투쟁에서 살아남아 임금의 자리에 올라 펼치는 개혁 정치를 다룬 〈이산〉을 중심으로 텔레비전 역사드라마의 정치적 성향을 고찰하였다. 그 결과 텔레비전 역사드라마의 정치적 성향은 방영 당시의 정치 상황과 밀접한 상관관계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 정조대왕의 죽음과 함께 개혁의 동력이 멈추면서 그의 정책과 정신이 훼손되었던 것처럼, 역사드라마 <이산>이 환기시켰던 2000년대 중반 대한민국의 정치 개혁도 2008년 2월 정권 교체와 함께 동력을 상실한 채 좌초되고 말았음을 확인할 수 있었던 것이다. 이는 곧 〈이산〉의 극적 현실이 실제 현실로 전이되지 못한 것은 물론, 정조대왕의 정치 개혁 담론이 현실 정치의 영향을 받으면서 왜곡되었음을 의미한다. While focusing on human agonies, not a ruler‘s heroic aspects, since the 2000s when a historical TV drama arousing virtues of a leader needed in the modern society started gaining attention, the political traits of a historical TV drama have gotten closely engaged in the political environment at the time of being aired. A series of historical dramas which dealt with Jung Jo, the 22nd king of the Joseon Dynasty aired in the mid 2000s when there were plentiful discussions for renovation represented the political situation. In particular, the TV drama <Yi San> which dramatized the life of King Jung Jo spaning from his early years to death has been politically blamed for glorifying the President equipped with renovation traits by the conservative force and been engaged in the political debate concerning the issue of representing the dominating ideology of the ruling force since the change of government. The study was designed to find out political traits of a historical TV drama centering on 〈Yi San〉 dealing with the story of ‘Yi San’ who beared resentment about the tragic death of his father ‘Crown Prince Sado’ survived the battles for power to sworn in as king and unfolded the renovation of politics. As a result, it was found that the political traits of a historical TV drama were closely related to political environment at the time of being aired. In addition, it was confirmed that when the driving force for renovation stoped along with the death of the great king Jung Jo, his policies and spirits were also damaged, and the political renovation of Korea in the mid 2000s presented by the historical TV drama 〈Yi San〉 lost its driving force to be in trouble along with the change of government in February 2008. It meant that the dramatic reality of 〈Yi San〉 couldn’t spread to reality because discussions for Jung Jo’s political renovation were distorted while being affected by real politics.

        추상회화의 실존적 수용 과정에 관한 연구 -본인의 작업을 중심으로-

        본 논문은 추상 회화에서 존재와 시간이 맺는 관계가 상호적으로 수렴되며 화면에 형상화되는 과정에 관한 연구이다. 오늘날의 시각 예술은 서로 다른 시· 공간의 다원성, 이질성, 혼성성의 특징을 보이며, 개별화하고 있다. 이 같은 동시대의 맥락 안에서 연구자의 작업은 혼성적 요소 사이의 상호작용을 바탕으로 한 직관적 방향성의 생성, 그것이 일종의 불확실성을 전제한 조형 언어로서 작동한다는 점이 다. 연구의 목적은 실존에 관한 관심에 기반하여 가시적인 것에 제한되지 않고, 현존을 드러내는 해방 공간으로서의 추상 회화를 다시금 고찰하며, 연구자의 작업에 담긴 인간의 미묘한 감성과 숭고한 정서 의 충돌이 공존하고 교차하는 과정을 추적하고, 이를 바탕으로 경계를 희석하는 새로운 종합의 틀을 제시하여 동시대 미술의 창조적 시각을 견인하는 개념을 차별화하기 위함이다. 연구 방법에 있어서는 연구자의 작업에서 다룬 시간성과 실존성의 문제를 하이데거의 ‘세계-내-존재’ 개념으로 살펴봤고, 서사 공간으로서의 추상 회화에서 경계를 지우는 미와 추의 문제에 대해서는 로젠크란츠의 ‘추의 미 학’과 브룩스의 ‘육체와 예술’에 관한 입장을 참조했다. 추상적 화면에서 개입되는 우연성과 즉흥성에 있어서는 랑시에르의 ‘반 재현적 예술’을, 그 외 실존적 수용의 시각화 과정에 대해서는 로젠버그의 ‘개인의 정체성’, 라캉의 ‘주체성의 상실’, 베르그송의 ‘직관’ 개념 등 다양한 양식의 융합을 통해 하나 의 작품이 지니는 순수조형의 차원을 벗어나 경계의 확장을 꾀하였다. 결론적으로 연구자의 작업 속 ‘실존성’은 시간 속에서 관계적으로 공간을 교차하는 서로 다른 궤적의 결합 그 자체다. 형상의 해체와 전환이 반복되는 추상 회화는 ‘하나의 연속’이며, 영속적 미완의 상태로서 관계성에 대한 논의를 확장 시킨다. 의식의 복합적 차원을 다루며 실존성을 수용해가는 회화적 매체와 미학적 가능성을 탐구하는 것은 추상에 접근하는 또 다른 방법론으로서, 회화의 실천적 자율성을 재인식했다는데 의의가 있다. This research is the study on the process of relationship between existence and time in abstract painting that is mutually converged and shaped on the screen. Today's visual arts are characterized and individualized by the features of plurality, heterogeneity, and hybridity of different times and spaces. Within this contemporary context, the researcher's work is based on the generation of intuitive directions that are based on interactions between hybrid elements, which operate as a formative language preconditioned with the kind of uncertainty. The purpose of this re-examination of abstract paintings, as a liberating space that reveals the underlying existence, which is not only limited to visibility, is to trace the process of collisions of human subtle sensibilities and emotions. On that basis, by presenting a new framework of synthesis, the approach was made to dilute the boundaries of creative vision of contemporary art. As for the research methods, the matter of timeliness and existentiality was examined by borrowing concepts from Heidegger's In-der-Welt-sein, and the issue of beauty and ugliness that is absent of boundary was adopted from Rosenkranz's Aesthetics of Ugliness and Brooks’s Body Work. As for the coincidence and improvisation on the abstract screen, Ranciere's Anti-replicated Art and Rosenberg's Individual Identity, Lacan's Loss of Subjectivity and Bergson's Intuition were adopted in terms of the visualization process of existential acceptance. As for the result, the existence in the researcher's work is itself a combination of different trajectories that go across spaces in relation with time. Abstract paintings, which repeatedly dismantle and transition features, are one continuous flow and expand the concept of the interconnectedness as a permanent unfinished state. Addressing the complex dimensions of consciousness and exploring pictorial media and aesthetic possibilities that embrace existentiality is another methodology that approaches abstraction, which is meaningful in that it examines practical autonomy of painting in a new light.

        일반논문 : 김만중(金萬重)의 여성시(女性詩)에 드러난 군신(君臣)의 형상(形象)

        김만중의 시에는 여성시가 상당히 많은 부분을 차지하고 있으며, 여성시 가운데에는 자신을 여성화하거나 여성을 대변하여 읊은 시가 많다. 뿐만 아니라, 구체적 여성인물에 대해 읊은 시도 있다. 음영의 대상이 된 여성 가운데에는 실존인물도 있으나, 전설로 전해지는 경우도 있으며, 실체가 명확하게 드러나지 않은 경우도 있다. 그런데 어떤 경우건 간에 김만중이 구체적 여성을 대상으로 읊은 시는 거의 대부분 그 여성에 대해 시를 지은 것이 아니라, 그 여성을 통하여 군신관계에 대한 자신의 생각을 우의적 혹은 비유적으로 담아내고 있다는 것이다. 여기에는 긍정적으로 평가를 받는 여성이 본받아야 할 모델로 등장하기도 하지만, 어떤 경우에는 부정적으로 인식된 여성이 경계의 대상으로 제시되기도 한다. 이 글에서는 김만중의 여성시 가운데 역사상 혹은 전설상의 구체적 인물을 시적 대상으로 삼은 것을 중심으로 하여, 김만중이 중국 고대 여성들을 통해 드러내고자 했던 군신관계의 형상을 크게 愛憎에 바뀌는 臣下의 運命으로 규정하고, 이어서 君王에의 변치 않는 節介를 드러낸 시, 臣下의 失節에 대한 警戒를 보인 시, 버림받은 臣下의 외로움을 노래한 시로 나누어 살펴보았다. The theory above is that Kim Man-jung`s feminine poems are apparently seem like the poems about the love between men and women, but actually are the poems about sovereigns and subjects. In this point of view we looked through Kim Man-jung`s feminine poems. Former researches about Kim Man-jung`s feminine poems considered that only parts of the poems, which are about abandoned court ladies, represent the relationship between sovereigns and subjects. However, this thesis considered that the songs about an enduring wife, a refrained women and a spring dream like beauty are also about the relationship between sovereigns and subjects. In this thesis, through the through analyse we discoursed in three ways to explain the relationship between sovereign and subject. Firstly, Kim Man-jung`s feminine poems are about subjects` destinies changed by the level of kings` love. Kim Man-jung wrote that when men and women first met each other, they didn`t care about whether they are ugly, or whether they are wise. Like this, when sovereigns first met subjects, sovereigns hired subjects as their abilities, but soon after time had passed sovereigns loved subjects by their feelings. This kind of thinking is found well at Kim Man-jung`s poem he wrote when Ban Cheb-yo expelled to Zhang Sin Palace after losing king`s love. Secondly, Kim Man-jung`s feminine poems are about subjects` loyalties that would never change. Kim Man-jung wrote a poem called "Yi Sha Su Si" and in this poem four paragraphs are about a woman missing her husband far away. Kim Man-jung`s nephew Kim Jin-kyu commented that this song was written because Kim Man-jung worried about the political situation at that time. It means that Kim Man-jung compared subjects` loyalties as the integrities of women. Thirdly Kim Man-jung`s feminine poems are about the subjects that have to refrain their attitudes and keep their integrities. He expressed his opinion that subjects never lost their honors through the stories about Tack Mun Gun who followed a man blindly and a ordinally faithful woman became a Dae Urn Eu and Soe Si`s kisaeng life. Finally, Kim Man-jung`s feminine poems are about the loneliness of abandoned subjects. Generally, we think that Musan female believer is a dream of all men, but in his poem Musan female believer yearned for the King Hui. And he also wrote a poem called "Sang Yang" which is about a court woman who could not help writing a letter on a leaf to the king because of the loneliness. Therefore, as we looked through above the reason that Kim Man-jung wrote lots of feminine poem is not that Kim Man-jung was a lascivious man or he was interested in ancient poems. It`s because he cared about those days` political situation and compared the relationship between sovereigns and subjects to the love of men and women.
