        The conventional PI controller has been widely used in industrial applications. If it is selected suitable a PI control gain, the PI controller shows very good control performance. But it is very difficult to find the optimal PI control gain. This thesis deals with the speed control of switched reluctance motor using the PI controller with 4-rule based fuzzy logic modifier. Simulation and experimental results show that the fuzzy logic modifier which exhibits a stabilizing effects on the closed-loop system, has good robustness regarding the improperly tuned PI controller. The performance of the PI controller with fuzzy logic modifier is superior to that of the conventional PI controller.

      • 퍼지 제어기를 이용한 브러시리스 직류전동기의 속도 제어에 관한 연구

        This paper deals with the speed control of a BLDCM with rectangular back electromotive force using fuzzy logic controller. The fuzzy PI controllers make the many degrees of freedom in proportion to the number of the rule for input and its ability of adjustment for control input is excellent. Thus, the proper adjustment of the fuzzy rules can provide the good performance for the system. Above all, the advantage of the fuzzy controller has the characteristic of robustness for parameter variation, load change, noises. As a current controller, a hysterisis current controller is implemented, and in order to reduce torque ripple in low speed range, current controller detects the uncommutating mode current for every 60 electrical degree. The fuzzy speed controller is implemented by MCS80C196KC, a 16 bit one-chip microprocessor. The experimental results show that the performance of the fuzzy speed controller is superior to that of the conventional PI controller in terms of robustness for the change of load torque.

        The conventional PI controller has been widely used in industrial applications. If a PI control gain is selected suitable. the PI controller shows very good control performance. But it is very difficult to find the optimal PI control gain. Therefore, in this paper, the 4-rule based fuzzy logic modifier of the conventional PI controller are presented. The fuzzy logic modifier which exhibits a stabilizing effects on the closed-loop system. has good robustness regarding the improperly tuned PI controller. The simulation are performed to verify the capability of proposed control method on vector controlled induction motor drive system.

        PSPICE is widely used in analysis of general circuit and simulation in electric and electrical field is applied to power electronics circuit. The circuits used with thyristors will add significant complexity to PSPICE analysis, it is important that the thyristor model be as simple as possible. In order to solve this problem, an ideal voltage controlled switch and an ideal current controlled switch were added as circuit elements. Two typical power electronics circuits simulation using PSPICE program presented.

      • 인버터 TIG용접기의 역률개선에 관한 연구

        In this paper, We proposed AC/DC boost converter with high power factor in TIG welder. The proposed power factor correction circuit with UC2854AN acting on constant switching frequency average current control have a three-loop control structure : the inner current loop, the line voltage feedforward loop, and the outer voltage loop. Also, We applied the constant current control strategy to stabilized the output current using the analog PI controller. To demonstrate the practical significance of the proposed methods, some simulation studies and experimental results are presented.

      • 고속전철용 VVVF 인버터의 고조파 저감 기법에 관한 연구

        In the past inverter, the output voltage supplied to the motor is not a sinusoidal one. So, the harmonic currents clue to non-sinusoidal voltage cause excessive lose, heating and torque pulsations. In this paper, the several PWM methods for harmonics reduction in current and voltage of the VVVF inverter are described. The performance of the proposed harmonic reduction techniques is illustrated via experiments on V/F control of induction motor. It is proved that space-vector PWM is the best method in point of harmonic reduction.

      • 스위치드 릴럭턴스 電動機의 經濟的인 驅動 시스템에 관한 硏究

        In this paper, we studied on the comparisons of drive characteristics between modified C-dump converter and asymmetric bridge converter for a switched reluctance motor drive system. In the experiments, the reliability and control capability of asymmetric bridge converter is superior to that of modified C-dump converter and in terms of the number of devices and the high speed capability, modified C-dump converter shows the improved performance when compared with asymmetric bridge converter. The speed control system is controlled by low cost one-chip microcontroller 80C196KB and EPROM is used for the angle control of SRM.

      • X-ray용 고주파 공진형 고전압 발생장치에 관한 연구

        This paper is concerned with High Frequency, High Voltage Generator for X-ray using zerovoltage soft-switching PWM DC-DC power converter by resonant method, which makes the most of the parastic IBC parameters of high-voltage transformer link, for diagonostic X-ray power generator. The converter circuit basically utilizes phase-shift pulse width modulated series resonant full-bridge PWM DC-DC high-power converter operating at a constant frequency;25kHz. The high-frequency switching operation of the inverter has some effective advantages with consist in the physical reduction in size and weight and lowered acoustic noise. The converter output regulation is digitally controlled using DSP(Digital Signal Processor) for obtaining a fast rising time and adjust output voltage within a wide load range. This converter characteristics are evaluated in terms of computer-aided analytical and experimental results.

      • DSP를 利用한 Phase-shifted PWM 直列共振型 DC-DC 컨버터

        This paper deals with a phase-shifted PWM high-frequency series resonant DC-DC converter using IGBTs. The converter output voltage regulation is digitally controlled using DSP(TMS320C31) for a fast rising time and low ripple output voltage. A PID controller and feed-forward controller is adopted as a controller and implemented on software. Simulation technique are employed to describe resonant converter behavior, which can present system output exactly and calculate in short time, by applying numerical method to the state equation of each equivalent circuit. And the simulation results are verified as compared with experimental results.

      • PWM 인버터 시스템에서의 전도노이즈 저감을 위한 출력필터 설계에 관한 연구

        본 논문에서는 PWM 인버터-유도전동기 구동시스템의 전도노이즈 저감을 위한 출력필터 설계에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 전도 노이즈는 고전압 압력, 고용량 구동시스템, 그리고 긴 전동기 터미널 등의 경우에서 크게 문제가 된다. 고압력을 갖는 시스템에서는 높은 압력에 비례한 직류 링크 전압을 갖고 이에 따라 스위칭 시 dv/dt가 순간 최대 CM 접지전류를 발생시킨다. 그러므로 이에 대한 대책에 필요하다. 따라서 최근 산업 현장에서 많이 사용되고 있는 PWM 인버터를 설계 제작하여 유도전동기를 구동하고 이에 따라 발생되는 전도노이즈 성분을 감쇠 시킬 수 있는 출력필터를 설계하였고 제작 및 실험을 통하여 그 타당성을 입증하였다. In this paper, filtering techniques to reduce the adverse effects of motor leads on high-frequency PWM inverter fed AC motor drives are presented. The filter was designed to keep the motor terminal from the cable surge impedance to reduce overvoltage reflections, ringing, and the dv/dr, di/dt, at the motor terminals. Specially, the output filter is used to limit the rate of the inverter output voltage and reduce common mode noise to the motor. The performance of the output filter is evaluated through simulations and experiment on PWM inverter-fed AC motor drive. An experimental PWM drive system reduction of conducted EMI was implemented on an available TMS320C31 micoprocessor controd board. Finally, experimental result shows inverter output filter reduces more common mode voltage than low pass filter also reduce overvoltage and ringing at the motor terminal.
