        실내디자인전공 학생들의 학습유형과 전공적성 및 만족도

        이 연구의 목적은 실내디자인전공 학생들의 학습유형과 전공적성 및 만족도를 알아보고, 이들 요소들 간의 상호관계를 살펴보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 수도권에 소재한 실내디자인전공 남녀 대학생 303명을 대상으로 학습유형, 전공적성, 전공만족도에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과의 주요내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습유형에 있어 전공에 따른 지배적인 학습유형이 있었으며, 직접해보고 모험을 좋아하며 직관적 문제해결방법을 선호하는 적응자유형이 가장 많았다. 둘째, 학업성취도에 있어 설계스튜디오과목이 가장 흥미롭고 성적이 뛰어나며, 이론수업이 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 응답자의 지배적 성향인 적응자유형과 입시 실기시험 및 입학 전 전문미술교육경험이 있는 경우, 설계스튜디오수업에 대한 학업성취도가 높았다. 셋째, 전공적합도와 전공적성에서 대체로 긍정적인 의견이었으며, 성별, 입시실기고사, 입학 전 전문 미술교육경험 여부, 학습유형에 따라 차이가 있었다. 넷째, 학생들은 전반적으로 전공에 만족하였으나, 고학년에서 전과의사가 높고 입학 후 전공에 대한 기대치가 저하되는 결과가 관찰되었다. 전공적성과 만족도 전반에 걸쳐 남자가 여자보다 더 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 학습유형은 학업성취도와 전공적성에는 영향을 끼친 반면, 전공만족도에는 차이가 없었다. 마지막으로, 전공적성도가 높을수록 전공에 대한 만족도 또한 높은 것으로 나타났다. 향후 연구로서, 실내디자인전공 학생들의 학습유형과 부합된 구체적인 교수법 개발과 기타 인접학문분야 전공자들과의 학습유형에 대한 비교연구가 제안된다. 또한, 본 연구에서 관찰된 전공만족도에 있어 고학년에서 두드러진 저하 현상 및 성별에 따른 차이, 전공적성에 있어 입시실기시험과 입학 전 전문미술교육의 영향에 대한 요인 분석을 통하여 교과과정과 입시제도, 그리고 유사전공간의 학제적 통합에 대한 총체적 논의와 제고가 요구된다. This study examines the learning styles of the interior design students in the Seoul metropolitan area and their attitudes and aptitudes toward major. Data from the survey questionnaire were collected from 303 participants and statistical analysis were administerd. Findings indicated that; 1) students tend to be accommodator dominantly in learning styles, 2) overall positive attitudes and aptitudes toward major, 3) significant differences in attitudes and aptitudes according to learning styles, sex, previous experience of art education and fine arts test to enter college. More specifically, students with accommodator type did better in studio class and men reported overall higher attitudes and aptitudes toward major compared to women. Senior students tend to have higher intention to transfer to different major and negative expectations to their current major. Previous experience of art education and fine arts test to enter college were major factors to determine aptitudes toward major. Development of teaching strategies that incorporate students` preferred learning styles and comparison with the students` learning styles in related areas such as architecture were recommended for future study. Also, consideration of the factors that affect attitudes and aptitudes toward major found in this study in discussing and evaluating curriculum, college entrance examination system, and merging of departments were addressed.

        창의적 사고를 위한 공간디자인역사 교육방법

        이 연구의 목적은 공간디자인역사 교과과정의 운영에 있어 공간디자인역사의 다양한 접근방법, 매체도구의 사용, 그리고 실질적 응용방안을 실험적 사례모형연구를 통하여 논의하고, 궁극적으로 창의적 사고개발을 위한 효과적인 공간디자인역사 교과목의 교육방법과 전략을 제안하는데 있다. 국내·외 관련문헌조사 및 학습모형사례연구를 실시하고, 이를 통하여 도출된 연구결과를 바탕으로 효과적인 공간디자인역사 교수법에 대한 구체적인 예시가 제시되었다. 주요 연구결과로서 1)공간디자인역사 인지 접근방법에 있어 학생들은 공간이외의 기존의 역사·문화적 지식기반에 근거하며, 2)역사·경제적 측면에서의 비교학습은 문화정체성에 대한 인식을 제고하는데 매개체 역할을 하였다. 3)시대별 주제에 따른 다양한 매체도구의 사용과 접근방식은 효과적인 지식습득뿐만 아니라 실질적 스튜디오작품에의 응용에 도움이 되는 것으로 나타났다. 4)또한, 저널쓰기와 토론을 통하여 학생들의 고유한 학습유형과 직업적성에 대한 탐구가 함께 이루어짐이 관찰되었다. 결론적으로, 공간디자인역사 교과과정에서 학생들의 역사인지뿐만 아니라 창의적 사고전개에 활용될 수 있는 중요한 이론적 기반으로서 교수법과 교수전략의 중요성이 제고되었다. The purpose of this paper is to discuss how students perceive western history of space, the way they interpret and develope critical thinking and to explore appropriate teaching methods. A case study was conducted to sophomore level space design major students during the course of History of Space Design. The results of this case study revealed some notable issues; 1) Students pay more attention to the space design issues parallel to their familiarity about specific issues of western history in general. 2) Students explained that comparisons and identification of cultural differences in relation to their existing knowledge of history strengthened their awareness of their own historical and cultural background. 3) Recognition of design as major social force influenced their critical and analytical thinking in perceiving history and applying to their studio projects. 4) Writing journals has helped students not only to identify their major tools of approaching history but to enhance broader perception of future career aspiration in the areas of journalism, curator, illustrator, etc. Student examples and specific teaching strategies are discussed and the issues of considering and applying multiculturalism in the context of history of space is further addressed.

        실내디자인관련 전공에서의 구두 및 서술발표 교과목 설계지침

        연구배경 이 연구의 목적은 실내디자인관련 전공 학생들에게 졸업 후 실무환경에서 요구되는 전공지식이외의 구두 및 서술발표 능력의 중요성을 인지하고 대학에서의 실질적 교과운영을 위한 교수설계체제를 제안하는 것이다. 실내디자인 전공은 의사소통과 문제해결능력이 창의적 실기능력과 함께 중요한 업무요건으로서, 사회진출이전 의사소통의 주요 수단인 다양한 문서작성기법과 구두발표 교육을 위한 연구의 필요성이 요구된다. 연구방법 관련 문헌연구의 방법을 통하여, 구두 및 서술발표 교육 현황과 학습요건 등을 알아보고, 이를 바탕으로 실내디자인관련 전공에 적용할 수 있는 기초적 학습운영 체계를 도출하였다. 연구결과 프로그램 운영을 위한 교과목 설계의 구성은 학습목표설정, 과제유형과 학습내용, 그리고 이에 수반되는 구두 및 서술발표 요건과 교수전략, 평가기준으로 이루어졌다. 구체적인 과제형태로는 유인물, 업무보고서, 논평, 공간소개, 작품제안서, 의뢰인 인터뷰, 토론이 제시되었다. 결론 본 연구는 최근 대학교육 전반에서 의사소통과 문제해결능력 증진을 위한 전인교육의 일환으로 발표교육이 강화되고 있는 동향을 반영한 것으로, 국내 실내디자인 교과목개발에 응용할 수 있는 기초적 자료와 이론적 틀을 마련하고자 하였다. 향후연구로서, 본 연구에서 제시된 구두 및 서술발표 교과목 설계지침의 다양한 교육환경에서의 비교분석과 실기스튜디오와 이론교과목에의 통합운영방안, 그리고 학년에 따른 수준별 적용방법에 대한 연계적 연구가 요구된다. Background Oral and written presentation skills are important elements of professional standards in interior design related major and are increasingly emphasized in various fields of study in the college education environment. This study explores the course development of oral and written presentation to be applied in the framework of interior design curriculum. Methods Content analysis and qualitative case study were used for literature review and course development. Result Instructional guidelines are presented with course contents, instructional strategies, and evaluation criteria according to the types of presentation skills required in executing different phases of work expectations. Specific project types suggested in this study are: 1)production of print materials for flyers and hand-outs, 2)preparing documents for work report, 3)writing newspaper review, 4)introduction of space with different perspectives of narrater, 5)presentation of project proposal, 6)client interview, and 7)group discussion in the format of team meeting, panel and round table. Conclusion Comparative studies in different class settings and operation of the course in conjunction with studio and professional practice courses are recommended for further study. Also, applying the course according to different levels of grades will enhance overall educational outcomes.

      • 미래 주택의 소형 컴퓨터 공간 이용에 대한 디자인 조건

        Home microcomputer purchase and use is steadily increasing. The users of the microcomputer in the home range from the preschool child to the elderly adult. Today, microcomputers are invading the kitchen, the bedroom, the family room, and the dining room; anywhere a work surface can be placed. These environments may be inadequately designed for microcomputer functions resulting in poor interaction among the individual user, the family and the microcomputer environment. The impact of this technology on the family environments can be positive if residential interior designers are prepared to base their design methodology on the development of the family through the stages in the life cycle. The location of the microcomputer in the home and design of the workstation should be considered as they impact on components of the family environment including territoriality, privacy, status, and power. The purpose of this paper is to introduce a residential design criteria and specification of a functional microcomputer environment that responds to the changing needs of the developing family.

        아동의 학업스트레스, 그릿, 집행기능 곤란 및 미디어기기 과의존 간의 구조적 관계

        This study examined the structural relationship between children’s academic stress, grit, executive function difficulty, and media device addiction. Data on 1,132 children and their mothers from the 11<sup>th</sup> (2018)Panel Study on Korean Children were used for the study. Data were collected by Academic Stress Scale, Grit Scale-Children, Child-Adolescent Self-reported Executive Function Difficulty Screening Questionnaire, and K-Internet Addiction Scale. Data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 23.0 program with Pearson correlation, structural equation model and bootstrapping. The main results were as follows. 1) Children’s academic stress had a negative influence on their grit. 2) Children’s grit had a negative influence on their executive function difficulty and media device addiction. 3) Children’s executive function difficulty had a positive influence on their media device addiction. 4) The relationship between children’s academic stress and media device addiction was mediated by their grit and executive function difficulty. This study is significant in the sense that it found protective factors and risk factors for children’s addiction to media devices. We suggest that children’s grit be improved, and their academic stress and executive function difficulty be reduced to prevent and mediate children’s media device addiction.

        어머니의 인지적 공감능력이 유아의 실행기능에 미치는 영향: 유아 배려행동과 행복감의 매개효과

        This study examined the effect of maternal cognitive empathy on children's executive function focusing on mediating effects of preschooler's caring behavior and happiness. The subject of this study was 460 five-year-old preschooler-their mother dyads in Korea. Data were collected by Korean Version of Questionnaire of Cognitive and Affective Empathy(K-QCAE), Caring Behaviors Scale for Young Children, Happiness Scale for Young Children and Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function-Preschool Version(BRIEF-P). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, Pearson correlation analysis, structural equation model and bootstrapping test with SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 23.0 program. The major results were as follows. 1) Maternal cognitive empathy had a positive influence on preschooler's caring behavior. 2) Preschooler's caring behavior had a positive influence on happiness and executive function. 3) Preschooler's happiness had a positive influence on executive function. 4) The effect of maternal cognitive empathy on preschooler's executive function was mediated by preschooler's caring behavior. 5) The effect of maternal cognitive empathy on preschooler's executive function was sequentially mediated by preschooler's caring behavior and happiness. This study revealed that maternal cognitive empathy, preschooler's caring behavior, and happiness have an important role in preschooler's executive function. Most of all, we suggest that maternal cognitive empathy should be improved to promote preschooler's executive function. The findings of this study will contribute to designing intervention programs to improve preschooler's executive function as well as maternal empathy.

      • 자동차 배기관 VOCs 배출특성에 관한 연구

        Emissions from automobiles have long been considered a prime source of pollutants involved in smog formation and ozone production. Especially VOCs are associated with serious environmental problems such as photochemical smog as well as human health effects. Since motor vehicles are a major source of VOCs, estimation of emission from mobile source is the most important factor to control VOCs in atmosphere. In this study in order to evaluate tailpipe VOCs emission from motor vehicles, mass emissions of non-methane volatile organic compounds from 20 vehicles were determined. Measurments were made on a chassis dynamometer using CVS-75 mode and speed specific drive mode depend on the driving velocity. Target VOCs are 53 compounds determined as the volatile ozone precursor. The individual VOCs composition of vehicle emission and emission rate were also determined. In case of gasoline vehicles, VOCs emission from over 80,000㎞ vehicles were about 46% larger than less 80000㎞ vehicles. The difference between benzene and toluene according to driving mileage was 44% and 26% respectively. The composition of VOCs were different by fuel type. The order of VOCs composition was paraffins(44%)>aromatics(34%)>olefins in gasoline vehicle emission, paraffins>olefins>aromatics in light duty diesel vehicle emission. The VOCs emissions were decreased as vehicle speed increasing. From these results we finally determined the various emission factor by kind of vehicle. In future, this research will be used for calculating total VOCs emission from automobiles.
