        Enhanced Oral Bioavailability of Flurbiprofen by Combined Use of Micelle Solution and Inclusion Compound

        The main purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of a mixed drug solution containing a surfactant and β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) on the solubility and bioavailability of a poorly watersoluble drug, flurbiprofen. Solubility, dissolution and in vivo pharmacokinetics of flurbiprofen in the presence of surfactant, β-CD or mixture of surfactant and β-CD were investigated. Among the surfactants tested, Tween 80 produced the highest improvement in the aqueous solubility of flurbiprofen. The solubility of flurbiprofen increased linearly as a function of β-CD, resulting in B8 type that suggested a formation of inclusion complex in a molar ratio of 1:1. The solubility of flurbiprofen increased further when Tween 80 was included in addition to β-CD, suggesting that a micelle formation in the presence of Tween 80 was the likely reason for additional increase. Furthermore, the data suggested that Tween 80 did not interfere with the inclusion interaction between flurbiprofen and β-CD. The solubility of flurbiprofen was the highest in the mixed system containing 1.3 mM β-CD and 0.3% w/v Tween 80, and the maximum solubility of 160 μg/mL was achieved. Consistent with the enhanced solubility, the plasma exposure (both AUC and Cmax) of flurbiprofen when dosed as the mixed system was significantly higher (as much as 2 to 3-fold) than that without surfactant or β-CD, with surfactant alone, or with β-CD alone. Therefore, the mixed system consists of surfactant and β-CD could be used as an effective oral dosage form to improve bioavailability of poorly water soluble drugs such as flurbiprofen.

      • 南大川 銀魚에서의 橫川吸蟲 被囊幼蟲의 寄生樣相

        慶北 珍面郡 平海面 南大川에서 銀魚를 採集하여 構川吸蟲 被襄幼蟲의 寄生狀을 1984年 6月부터 同年 9月까지 調査하였다. 南大川의 河口와 下流에서 採集한 銀魚에서의 構川吸蟲 被襄幼蟲의 寄生率은 모두 100%였다. 魚體部位別로는 魚肉 100%, 꼬리 94.6%이며 지느러미 86.6%, 鱗片 66.6%의 順位였다. 銀魚 魚肉 1 gram 當 本幼蟲數의 平均値는 238.7個였고, 鱗片 200個當 本幼蟲數의 平均値는 3.0個였다. 構川吸蟲 被襄幼蟲의 月別 寄生狀에 있어서는 6月에 採集한 銀魚에는 全然 寄生되어있지 않았는데 比하여 7月과 9月에 採集한 銀魚에는 모두 寄生되어 있었고 魚肉 1gram當 本幼蟲數의 平均値는 7月 140.6個, 9月 330.5個로써, 7月보다 9月에 더 많았다. From June to September, 1984, sweetfish, Plecoglossus altivelis collected at the delta area and downstream of the river Namdae were examined for the presence of Metagonimus yokogawai cysts. The infestation rate for M. yokogawai was found to be 100 per cent. In detail, the rate was 100 per cent in the flesh, 94.6 per cent in the tail, 86.6 per cent in the fins and 66.6 per cent in the scales, in decreasing order. Intensity of infestation, expressed in the average number of M. yokogawai cysts per gram of flesh was 238.7 and per 200 scales, only 3.0. In the monthly incidence, no M. yokogawai metacercaria was found from the fish examined in June. In contrast, those collected in July and September were heavily infested with the cysts. The average number of metacercariae per gram of flesh was 140.6 in July, and increased to 390.5 in September.

        간호대학생이 경험한 임상실습만족도와 진로결정 수준과의 관계

        본 연구는 J도 C대학 간호대학생의 임상실습만족도와 진로결정 수준과의 관계를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상은 J도 C대학 간호학과 2, 3, 4학년 재학생 중 편의표집 하여 120명을 대상으로 2017년 8월 14일부터 8월 27일까지 자료 수집하여 분석하였다. 임상실습만족도에 따른 간호대학생의 진로결정 수준은 임상실습만족도가 높을수록 진로결정 수준도 높아지는 것으로 나타났고, 학년이 높아질수록 임상실습만족도는 낮아지는 것으로 나타났으며, 전공만족도가 높아질수록 임상실습만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 전공만족도에 따른 진로결정 수준은 전공만족도가 높을수록 진로결정 수준 또한 높게 나타났다. 임상실습만족도가 높음에 따라 진로결정 수준도 높은 것으로 나타났기에, 현재 간호교육에서 임상실습만족도를 높이기 위한 질 높은 교육을 위해서 제도적 지원 장치 마련이 필요하다. This study is a descriptive research study to find out the relationship between Clinical Practice Satisfaction level and Career decision Level of Nursing College Students by J College of C. The research target collected and analyzed data from August 14, 2017 to August 27, 2017, among 120 students in the second, third and fourth grades of nursing department of nursing at the College of C. The level of career decision among nursing College students based on their clinical practice satisfaction was found to be higher, the level of career decision increases as the level of clinical practice increases, the level of clinical practice satisfaction decreases as the grade level increases, and the level of satisfaction with the major increases, the level of clinical practice satisfaction is found to be higher. The level of career decision based on major satisfaction level showed that the higher the degree of professional satisfaction, the higher the level of career decision. As the level of career decision is also high due to the high level of clinical practice satisfaction, institutional support devices are needed for quality education to improve clinical practice satisfaction in nursing education at present.

        Quantitative Experimental Analysis of Schottky Barriers and Poole–Frenkel Emission in Carbon Nanotube Devices

        <P>In this paper, we investigated carbon nanotube FETs (CNT FETs) utilizing semiconducting single-walled CNTs (SWCNTs). Multiple devices, each of different metal source and drain contacts, were fabricated on a single SWCNT. Over specific temperature regimes, transport properties of the devices were found to be consistent with the Bethe theory of thermionic emission for Schottky contacts, and the Poole-Frenkel emission was dependent on the device position. As was expected, transport from thermionic emission over the barrier was found to be the dominant mechanism. Barriers of 25-41 meV were present, as found by activation energy analysis for temperatures ranging from 20 to 300 K for the devices. A Schottky diode was also fabricated on a separate nanotube using an ohmic contact at the Pd source and a Schottky contact for the Ag drain electrode. Assuming the same physical assumptions for an Si semiconductor device, the results indicate an ideality factor greater than 2, Schottky barrier of ~0.37 eV, and image charge lowering of ~0.1 eV.</P>
