      • 이미지 처리기법을 이용한 스캐너 용지 이송정밀도에 관한 연구

        Two different types of paper feeding methods are widely used for modem printers and scanners. One of them is the flat-bed type, which utilizes a translating camera to scan the images on a stationary sheet. The other one is the sheetfed type, which requires continuous movement of the sheet. This study involves the precision of the paper feeding mechanism of the sheetfed type, which is known to be less precise. Test sheets were generated by printing straight lines in both machine and lateral directions, forming square patterns. The test sheets were. fed into the scanner, and the machine-direction line spacing of the scanned images was analyzed. It was determined that the paper speed momentarily changed three times: when the leading edge of paper contacted the guide plate, the moment the leading edge reached the pull roller, and the instant the trailing edge departed from the push roller. It appeared that the first two speed reductions were due to buckling of the sheet, while the last one was related to the loss of pushing force. For 0.1-mm-thick paper, the variation of sheet speed due to the loss of pushing force was approximately 50 percent of the average speed, while the effect of the impact at the leading edge was less significant. However, the trends reversed with thicker 0.35-mm paper. The momentary speed reduction of the thicker paper due to the impact at the leading edge was more prominent than that due to the loss of pushing force.

      • 인체 공중 동작 시뮬레이션 프로그램 개발

        A comprehensive simulation software package was developed in C base on the work done by Yeadon et al.(1990) and Kwon (1993a) in the aim of making it easy to apply the experimental simulation technigues to the human airborne movement studies. This package consists of 3 programs: simulation variable computation program (PREP), simulation program (SIM) and the 3-dimensional graphic program (3DMAN). All programs are driven by an easy-to-use menu system and written compatible to KWON3D Motion Analysis Package Version 2.1 (Kwon, 1993b). Program PREP consists of 4 menus: `Edit Data´, `Prepare´ `Angular Momentum´ and `Optimization´. The `Edit Data´ environment is an editor for the lengths of the segments and body lines. The `Prepare´ menu computes the internal orientation angles of the segments while the `Angular Momentum´ menu computes the mean airborne angular momentum of the body and other initial conditions such as the initial position and velocity of the body CM and the initial external orientation of the body. The `Optimization´ menu performs angular momentum optimization proposed by Kwon (1993a). A geometric 15-segment body model - Yeadon-Kwon model (Kwon, 1993b) - with at most 38 degrees of freedom including 3 external orientation angles (somersault, inclination and twist angles) was employed to compute the simulation variables. SIM consists of 2 menus: `Edit Angles´ and `Simulate´. The `Edit Angles´ environment is an editor for the internal orientation angles of the segments. Users can intentionally manipulate the internal orientation angles for the simulation of modified trials. The program displays time-angle curves segment by segment. The `Simulate´ menu actually performs simulation. The initial conditions can be directly manipulated in the program menu environment. The simulation program was tested by several theoretical configurations to screen out the flaws in the theory and to isolate coding mistakes. The simulated results were compared with the predicted results and the program showed good agreements between the simulated results and the theoretical predictions. The simulation program was then applied to several gymnastic maneuvers and springboard dives for testing. 3DMAN was developed in the extension of the traditional `Stick Figure´ graphics. The program is segment-oriented and the 3-D shape of each segment is defined defined independently in a graphic model file to allow the users to use different body models with different, combinations of segments. The model file was designed easy to edit so as to allow the users to change the graphic model easily to meet their specific needs. The graphic model file can be edited using any text editor such as `EDIT´ of DOS. Once the `3-D Graphics´ option is activated followed by the registration of the graphic model files, the program draws the 3-D shapes of the segments whose model files are registered. All the graphics-related menus including registration of the segment graphic model files are accessible within the graphic environment.

        닭 조직에 따른 Nebulin Isoform 단백질의 특이적 발현

        대부분 척추동물에서 골격근 내 filament들의 길이 조절은 근 수축 기작의 구조를 이해하는데 중요한 단서가 된다. Nebulin은 thin filament의 전체에 걸쳐있는 거대한 단백질로 골격근에만 특이적으로 존재하는 것으로 알려져 왔다. 본 연구에서는 닭의 근육과 비근육 조직에서 nebulin isoform 단백질들을 확인하기 위하여 전기영동과 immunoblot의 방법을 이용하였다. 각 조직의 단백질들은 soluble과 insoluble fraction으로 분리 준비하였다. 실험결과, 닭의 근육과 비근육 조직들에서 조직 특이성을 나타내는 다양한 nebulin isofrm 단백질들이 확인되었다. Nebulin은 성계의 골격근에서 500 kDa 정도의 크기로 나타났고, nebulett은 계배와 성계의 심장근에서 107 kDa 정도로 발현되었다. 그리고 계배의 비근육 조직인 뇌에서 380 kDa 정도의 거대 단백질이 확인되었다. 이 단백질은 뇌 조직의 soluble fraction에서 인지되었다. Nebulin isoform 단백질들이 서로 다른 조직에서 발현되는 양상을 보아 서로 다른 독자적인 기능을 가질 것으로 추정된다. The lengths of thick and thin filaments in the sarcomeres of most vertebrate skeletal muscles are precisely regulated and are important structural parameters in understanding muscle contraction. Nebulin is a usually large protein that spans the whole length of thin filaments in the sarcomeres of skeletal muscles. In this paper we used SDS-PAGE and immunoblot to identify nebulin isoform proteins in muscle and non-muscle tissues. We prepared embryonic chicken tissues including skeletal muscle, cardiac muscle, smooth muscle, brain liver to compare nebulin isoform proteins. The proteins were divided into soluble and insoluble fraction. As a result, we identified tissue specific expression of various nebulin isoform proteins in muscle and non-muscle tissues of chicken. Nebulin was detected in skeletal muscle of adult chicken about 500 kDa. Nebulett was expressed in cardiac muscle of embryonic and adult chicken about 107 kDa. A giant protein with molecular mass of about 380 kDa was identified in brain of non-muscle of chicken. This giant protein was detected in the soluble fraction of chicken embryo. The unequal distribution of the nebulin isoform proteins suggests tissue specific regulation of the isoform expression and indicates a functional specialization of the encoded isoform subtypes.

        Helicobacter Pylori 감염의 유병률과 위험요인에 관한 연구

        H. pylori 감염은 만성위염과 소화성 궤양의 원인인지로 작용하며 위암발생과도 밀접한 관련성이 있는 것으로 증명되어 기존의 위·십이지장 질환의 치료와 관리에 많은 변화를 가져오고 있다. 저자는 H. pylori 감염의 유병률을 추정하고 감염과 관련되는 위험요인을 조사할 목적으로 부산광역시와 경상남도에 거주하는 소아, 청소년 및 성인 1,466명을 대상으로 1996년 4월부터 8월에 걸쳐 본 연구를 시행했다. 연구대상자들의 혈청에 존재하는 H. pylori IgG 항체는 Enzyme Linked immunosorbent Assay(ELISA) 방법으로 측정했으며 설문조사를 통해 기본적인 인구학적 특성, H. pylori 감염과 관련되는 요인에 관한 정보를 얻었다. 연구대상자들의 총 H. pylori 감염률은 33.1%였고 이를 1996년 한국표준인구로 환산한 연령보정 표준화 유병률은 51.5%로 우리나라 사람의 반 이상이 H. pylori에 감염되어 있는 것으로 추정된다. 성별 연령보전 표준화 유병률은 남자49.8%, 여자 53.7%로 여성이 남성보다 약간 높았다. 연령군별 H. pylori 감염률은 1∼9세군의 10.0%에서 60세 이상군의 76.1%까지 연령이 증가함에 따라 유병률도 비례해 증가하는 양상을 보였다(x2 for trend=460, p<0.0001). 특히, 1∼3세 연령군에서 학동기전 연령인 4∼6세군간에 유병률의 차이가 없으나 초등학교 1, 2, 3 학년 연령인 7~9세군 간에 갑작스런 유병률의 상승이 관찰되어 이 시기부터 H. pylori 감염이 본격적으로 시작되는 것으로 추측된다. 소아 및 청소년의 경우, 다변량 로짓 희귀 모델에서 연령과 가족수가 H. pylori 감염과 유의한 상관관계를 보였으며 특히, 연령은 1∼3세에 비해 16∼19세 군의 교차비(95% 신뢰구간)가 7.1(1.9-26.3)로 H. pylori 감염의 가장 강력한 예측인자인 것으로 나타났다. 가족수 1∼3명을 기준으로 4∼5명의 교차비는 2.0(1.0-4.0), 6명 이상의 교차비는 2.8(1.3-6.0)이었다. 성인의 경우 소아 및 청소년에서와 마찬가지로 연령과 가족수가 H. pylori 감염의 유의한 위험요인 이었다. Helicobacter pylori is now recognized as a causative agent of chronic gastritis and peptic ulcer, and strongly associated with the development of gastric carcinoma, by the sensitive and specific serologic ests to indentify the individuals infected with Helicobacter pylori, the epidemiologic features of this diseases have been investigated. But its transmission route is not established, yet. The purposes of this study is to estimate the prevalence of Helicobacter pylori infection in health children and adults and to evaluate the risk factors for Helicobacter pylori infection in Korea. The observed overall seropositivity rate, as determined by detecting IgG antibodies to Helicobacter pylori by using ELISA. was 33.1% and the age adjusted standardized prevalence rate was 51.5%. Also, age adjusted sex-specific standardized prevalence rates were 49.8% in male and 53.7% in female. The prevalence rate was increased progressively from 10.0% in the age group 1~9 years to 76.1% in the age group above 60 years(x2 for trend=460, p<0.001). Especially, the rate increased abruptly from 6.3% in the age group 4~6 years to 13.8% in the age group 7~9 years, and this suggested that elementary school age would be the beginning time of Helicobacter pylori infection in good earnest. In case of age group 1~19 years, age and the numbers of family member in the house were statistically significant risk factors for Helicobacter pylori infection in multivariate logistic regression model. Especially, adjusted odds ratio(95% CI) for Helicobacter pylori infection in the age group 16~19 years referent to age group 1~3 years was 7.1(1.9-26.3), so age was the strongest predictive factor for Helicobacter pylori infection. In case of age group more than 20 years, age and number of family members were statistically significant risk factors for Helicobacter pylori infection in multivarite logistic regression model.

        The important of landscape management is getting higher. At this time, the needs of Landscapes damage prevention and landscape preservation are getting rise. Particularly, urban gate is close to daily life, and it is important in association with formation of territory. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the landscape image of urban gate and to find the way of manage the landscape image of urban gate. The result of analysis is as follows; Frist, the evaluation of cognition object that has an influence on landscape is in the order of size, form, height, color. Secondly, the result of factor analysis for landscape adjective shows that, the image of landscape of urban gate is affected by the three elements. That is identity, the sense of urban, and planning. Third, according to the result of factor analysis in each urban gates, after retouching gates were improved than before retouching in evaluation of the image of urban gate landscape.

      • 차세대 무선 통신 시스템을 위한 안테나 신기술

        차세대 통신 시스템에서 공통적으로 요구하는 소형화, 광대역화, 집적화추세에 따라 RF소자는 광대역화, 소형화, 집적화를 향해 발전하고 있으며 안테나 기술도 현재 추세에 발맞추어 소형화, 능동집적화, 광대역화를 통하여 개발 방향을 모색하고 있다. 본고에서는 현재 추세인 소형 안테나, 능동 안테나와 더불어 최근 관심이 집중되고 있는 임펄스 통신에 이용될 수 있는 초광대역 안테나 기술에 대해 소개한다. The technical trends of the next generation wireless communication are miniaturization, broad-band operation, and integration. Thus, in accordance with this trend, RF devices and components are being developed in such way, and same with the antenna. In this paper, technology of small antenna, active antenna, and ultra wideband antenna, which can be applied to impulse communication system, are introduced.

      • 4*(M/M/1)시스템에서 로컬 및 글로벌 실시간 처리를 위한 스케줄링 알고리즘의 시뮬레이션 분석

        본 논문은 동종의 프로세서로 구성된 분산처리 시스템에서 엄격한 실시간 처리제한을 갖는 정기적 프로세스의 로컬 스케줄링 및 비정기적 실시간 처리 프로세스와 일반 프로세스의 글로벌 스케줄링 알고리즘에 대한 시뮬레이션 성능 분석을 하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 로컬의 정기적 실시간 프로세스에 대한 deadline이전 처리를 100% 보장하면서 글로벌 스케줄링을 수행함으로써, 비정기적 실시산 프로세스이 deadline miss ratio가 명백히 감소하였고, 시스템 전체에 대한 load imbalance 및 response time이 개선됨을 보였다. This paper presents a scheduling algorithm for processes with hard real-time constraints which works dynamically in loosely-coupled distributed systems. It includes scheduling problems to guarantee periodic and non-periodic processes with execution deadlines, and it also takes account into preemption, overhead due to scheduling, and the effect of normal processes without strict time constraints. The results of simulation show that this algorithm reduce deadline miss ratio, average response time, and root mean square difference in work load substantially.

        "Dice와 fill" 방식을 이용한 1-3 압전복합재의 제조와 횡방향 단위 크기에 따른 압전특성 평가

        NDT나 의료용 영상장치에 응용되는 압전복합체는 일반적인 세라믹이나 고분자 압전재료에 비하여 많은 장점을 가진다. 이들 응용분야에서는 전기기계결합게수가 높아야 하고, 음향임피던스가 낮아야 한다. 그러나, 압전복합제의 횡방향 단위 크기가 조밀하지 못한 경우 횡방향으로 전행하는 판파에 의한 불필요한 진동이 표면에 발생하게 된다. 횡방향 단위 크기와 세라믹 체적비에 따른 압전 특성을 조사하기 위하여 PMN-PZT 세라믹과 Epofix 에폭시로 에폭시의 폭을 달리하면서 1-3 형 압전복합체를 제작하였다. 제작된 1-3형 압전복합체의 두께방향 진동모드의 전기기계결합계수, 음향임피던스는 각각 0.36~0.64, 9.8~22.7 MRayl로 나타났으며, 횡방향 단위크기가 줄어들수록 횡방향 모드 공진 주파수가 증가하였다. The piezoelectric composites had many adventages in comparison qith conventional piezoelectric ceramics and piezopolymers for ultrasonic transducers used in NDT and in medical ultrasonic imaging. The electromechanical coupling coeffucient should be high and the acoustic impedance should be low in these applications. However, the cross-coupling with spurious oscillations caused lateral spatial scale. The thickness mode electomechanical coupling coefficient of 1-3 type of piezoelectric composites were 0.36 to 0.64, and the acoustic impedance of them were 9.8 to 22.7 MRayl. The lateral resonance frequency of 1-3 type piezoelectric composites shifted to high frequency region with decreasing lateral spatial scale.

        The present study was conducted to know the antioxidative effect of Green tea on the lipid in chicken patties. Green tea is known to have diverse physiological functions including cardiotonic function, diuretic function, detoxicating function, sterilization function, antiphlogistic function, and the suppressive effect of food poising. Accordingly, the addition of Green tea powder is mostly appropriate for being used to processed food. With a view to project the storage stability and the storage life prolongation of chicken meat, we gained the following results after reviewing the storage stability and the effect on the antioxidant according to the addition of Green tea powder during storage of chicken patties for 15days at 5℃ or -5℃. 1. The Effect of the antioxidant on the lipid of chicken patties was increased according to the addition of Green tea powder. 2. The Effect of the antioxidant on the lipid of chicken patties was not especially changed in TBA value according to the addition of Green tea powder 1.0% and Na-Nitrite 50ppm, 100ppm, and 150ppm especially. 3. The addition of Green tea powder demonstrated the best effect of suppressing the TBA value at a lower temperature(-5℃)
