노인의 취업정책과 경제활동을 위한 과제

Korea has already entered the stage of aging society and is estimated to reach the state of aged society by 2020. The support expenses for the elderly population increased from 6.2% in 1980 to 11.6% in 2003, which proves heavier burden on the shoulders of the productive generations. The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development(OECD) recommends that the member countries should invest ongoing efforts in system reforms to prepare for early retirement and aging of the population. It also suggests the pension system reform, extension of age limits in workplaces, and promotion of employment of senior citizens in order to resolve the problems of aging society, which include lack of labor force and increasing burden of public support, from the perspective of the labor market. The UN has also set it one of its principles to pursue "empowerment of the elderly" across all aspects of life including economy, politics, and society through income increase and volunteer works. In responding to its aging society, Korea needs to recognize the need to establish policies for the elderly, set the basic directions, and reexamine their value as workers. Thus this study set out to investigate job creations for the elderly home and abroad and identify the problems and tasks. Essential to solving the problems that senior citizens face in looking for a job are the responsible job creations of the central and local governments. It's necessary to raise the status of the activities of the elderly, make a change to the age-limits in the labor market and to the seniority-based salary system, and change the social misconception about the inefficiency of the elderly workers. The government should improve the related laws and systems, take an active attitude towards budget allocation, activate job training programs, and develop and expand proper jobs for senior citizens. And the private companies need to find ways to make active use of the elderly workers. In conclusion, Korea is experiencing a shift to the aged society at unprecedented speed in the world. The employees retire even before they turn 55. The gap between the age to benefit from the national pension and the life expectancy grows bigger and bigger. But there are no enough jobs created for them to take, which leads to the multiplication of senior citizens in poverty. The prerequisites to more job creations for the elderly include the public's different perception about their work, the private companies' social responsibility, and the persistent efforts by the central and local governments.

農業物市場開放과 農業技術指導

The purpose of this study is to discuss the technique guidance for the competition against overseas agricultural products. For the technique guidance, we described the substitution and sellection of the crop items with enable domestic farmers to survive against import liberalization, cost-reducing strategy, and the survive against import liberalization, cost-reducing strategy, and the efficient technique guidance system. For the study, we did literature review and direct interview using questionaries. For the interview, the area was confined to the Chonnam province which was subdivided into 4 categories, suburb, plains, mountains, and in-betweens. The survey was carried out during the period of August 1 through the end of August of 1990. Following are the summary of the annalysis. 1. Excess supply in the world agricultural markets is temporary phenomenon and we should attain the minimum self-support ratio for the emergency. 2. Most farmers show the pessimistic view on the future domestic agriculture because of international pressures on the import liberalization, labor shortage, low domestic agricultural product price, and low income. 3. On the question of the reason we are pressured from the abroad, the answers were the order of manufactured goods export, relatively weak national power, pressure of U.S.A, and failure in the domestic agricultural policy. 4. For the survival of the domestic agriculture, most farmers were answered in the following order by the importance, appropriate government plan, development of agriculture technology, and national consensus on the protection of domestic agriculture. 5. Farmers answered in the order of substitution of crop item, production of high quality goods, and cost reduction when they were asked to list by the impotance the way we can overcome the import liberlization of agriculture products. 6. The reason domestic agriculture is suffering from import liberlization is low productivity and weak price competitiveness. Thus trying to raise the productivity in agriculture and to develop the crop item which has the price competitiveness will be stepping stone for attacking the foreign pressures. 7. The improvement of breed is the major step to win the price competition by the way of technology development in the international market. 8. Highly educated persons are essential for the development of agricultural technology. Since educating and training the persons require much time, we should make an every effort to upbring the persons talented in research by way of cooperation between agricultural industry and university. 9. Recent abolishment of sub-offices of rural development in Up and Myun and its intergration to offices in Gun were timely movement and there should be further reinforcing measures. 10. To raise the efficiency of group training, more consideration should be given in forstering and strengthening the farmers study group. Not only groups Office of Rural Development is guiding but also all the groups in rural area who need to study the agricultural technology should be included in the system of technique guidance program.

Steam generator(SG) tubes are expanded inside tubesheet holes by using explosive or hydraulic methods to be fixed in the tubesheet. In the tube expansion process, it is important to minimize the crevice gap between tubesheet and the transiton region of tube diameter. In this paper, absolute and differential bobbin probe signals are predicted by a numerical method for several different locations of tube expansion inside and outside the tubesheet and signal variations due to tubesheet, tube expansion and operating frequency are high frequency is good for sizing of expanded tube diameter as well as the detection of transition region. Also learned is that the absolute signal is good for the measurement of expanded tube diameter and the differential signal is good for locating the top of tubesheet and both edges of transition region.

자성체 가스관에서 복수의 결함에 의한 원격장와전류 신호특성 조사

Remote field eddy current testing signals have unique signal characteristics such as the equal sensitivity to ID and OD defects and the linear relationship between defect depth and phase signal strength. In this paper, those and new signal characteristics are studied by carefully prepared experiments with gas pipes. Many kinds of defects are designed and fabricated, such as ID and OD defects, axial and circumferential defects, and multiple defects on the same circumference. Multiple defects on the indirect paths and very long defects reveal the linear relationship between defect depth and phase signal strength. Equal sensitivity to ID and OD defects is also demonstrated. It is found that the phase signal is more sensitive to axial defects and the phase signals from circumferential defects tend to underestimate the total defect length.

팔레스타인 이슬람 저항운동단체 하마스 : the Islamic Resistance Movement in Palestine

Hamas, which is the acronym for Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiyya (the Islamic Resistance Movement) in Arabic, was born of the first intifada in the 1980s as a wing of the Muslim Brotherhood movement in Palestine. This study explores the formation process of Hamas, its ideology, objectives and strategies, and relates them with the Palestinian and Israeli peace process. Hamas has expanded and strengthened its organizations and influences through its increasing control over the religious institutions of the waqf (religious endowments), the mosques, and educational and social organizations. Concerning Palestine, Hamas denies the Israel's right to exist in Palestine because it argues that the land of Palestine is an Islamic trust (waqf) and Jihad is a duty for Muslims to expel the Jewish regime out of the land. It, therefore, recognizes neither the Oslo Peace Process nor the "Self-rule" of the Palestinian Authority. Hamas, with other radical movements such as Islamic Jihad, has initiated the military and armed actions and terror attacks against Israel. While Hamas has made great gains, becoming a major political force in Palestinian society, it has problems and challenges. It has benefited from being opposition and the failure of the PLO in the peaceful settlement with Israel. One of the most difficult but crucial problems is how to justify its denial of co-existence with Israel and bloody terror attacks against innocent civilians, and convince the Palestinian people and the world.

장거리선수의 운동강도가 심박수의 변화에 미치는 영향

This study was to investigate the changes of heart rate VO_(2)max (ℓ/ min ) VO_(2)max ( ㎖ / min /kg) and O_(2) Pulse max (㎖/beat) according to gradual loading by bicycle ergometer and heart checker system. The subjects were 8 long distance runners Che- Ju National University whose physical characteristics and 5000m running records were similar to those of Japanease long distance runners. Gradual loading by bicycle ergometer until physical work capacity 170 beats/min the VO_(2) max (ℓ/ min) VO_(2)max(㎖/min/kg) and O_(2) puke max (㎖/beat) were decreasing tendency These results seem to the training effects on the long distance running program.

Dans cette petite etude, nous avons etudie le fantastique dans les oeuvres de Balzac. Ses oeuvres de jeunesse sont influencees par les ecrivains, Walter Scott, E.T.A. Hoffmann et Charles Nodier. Ceux-ci n'ont pas su donner une realite sensible aux mythes ou se complaisait leur reverie, mais Balzac, au contraire, a cree des visions ou la vie circule. Il ne faut pas distinguer en Balzac un philosophe jeune et un peintre de moeurs tardivement revele, mais embrasser en un regard unique la creation de ce visionnaire. Balzac a mele le fanfastique a une intrigue de caractere realiste. Il n'a jamais cesse de croire aux interferences entre le monde visible et le monde invisible. Comme il nous a fait a la realite de son fantastique, il a degage le fantastique de la realite.
