        森林의 公益機能 評價와 그 改善方案

        The modern society has increased the needs for both public benefits of forests and the economic functions of forest products. The increased public interest and concern for forests have been resulted from rapid growth of urban population, high industrialization, deterioration of environment, and etc. It is essential to evaluate the productive and environmantal functions of forests with a scientific criteria. The purpose of this study is to introduce the scientific evaluation method of such functions of forests, and to discuss its uses and limitations.

        The main problems in photovoltaic performance measurement arises from the fact that solar cells have a highly selective spectral response and are, therefore, very sensitive to the spectral composition of the incident radiation. Outdoors, this varies considerably with location, weather, time of year and time of day, Indoors, it depends on the type of simulator used and it can change as the equipment ages. Unless measurement procedures take account of these variations and other difficulties, such as the marked temperature dependence of solar cell, the results can be grossly erroneous. Performance rakings of the same module by laboratory have been know to disagree by as much as 20%.

      • 토오크 기울기를 이용한 유도전동기의 직접토오크제어

        In this paper, a direct torque control(DTC) method of an induction motor is proposed which enables constant switching frequency. The switching strategy of a conventional direct torque control scheme which is based on hysteresis comparator results in a variable switching frequency which depends on the speed, flux, stator voltage and hysteresis band of the comparator. This paper proposes a new switching strategy which determine the effective switching time on each switching period by comparing the ascending and descending torque slopes. The simulation results are presented to verify this proposed scheme.

        올리브 잎 분획물의 항균활성 및 아질산염 소거능

        This study was performed to provide basic physiological activities data to predict the usefulness of olive leaves as a food material. Total flavonoid and total phenol contents of 80% ethanol extract of olive leaf were 5.81% and 14.8%, respectively. Total flavonoid and total phenol contents were markedly higher in butanol and ethyl acetate fractions than in hexane, chloroform, and water fractions (p〈0.05). Oleuropein in olive leaf was the major phenolic compound. The oleuropein contents of 80% ethanol extract, butanol and ethyl acetate fractions of olive leaf were 102.11±0.02, 173.35±0.03 and 152.71±0.03㎎/100g, respectively. The 80% ethanol extract, butanol and ethyl acetate fractions of olive leaf showed a growth inhibitory effect to Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Salmonella enteritidis, whereas antimicrobial activities of hexane and chloroform fractions were not observed. The inhibitory activity to ACE was determined to be very weekly positive in 80% ethanol extract and all fractions of olive leaf. The nitrite-scavenging ability of 80% ethanol extract, butanol and ethyl acetate fractions of olive leaf were 72.8%, 76.0% and 75.4%, respectively. Significant evidence was detected that the butanol and ethyl acetate fractions showed higher activity than that of hexane, chloroform, and water fractions(p〈0.05).

      • 유아의 사회성 증진을 위한 또래관계 기술 지도 프로그램의 타당성 연구

        The present study attempted to develop and test the validity of, the early therapeutic-educational demonstration programs, so called, social skill programs for intervening of low-status, low-skilled preschool children. This study was conducted through the following procedure : 1) developing a behavioral checklist of peer interaction, 2) selecting target behaviors and subjects, 3) developing demonstration programs, 4) program performance and effect measurement, 5) data analysis. The target behaviors of checklist consisted of the four social processes usually taught to the low-staus children in a preschool settings ; communication clarity, positive reciprocity, establishing common activity, intimacy. The subjects were 36 low-skilled preschool children with the age of 5 to 6 years. The important theories used in developing the programs were Mize & Ladd's(1990a) 'A Cognitive-Social Learning Model of Social Skill Training' ; Price & Dodge'(1989) 'Reciprocal influences in peer transactions involving socially rejected childrenJ. And Damon & Phelps's(1989) 'Strategic of Peer Learning'. The results proved that the early therapeutic programs(SSP) developed on the basis of the strategic of peer learning that is, peer tutoring and cooperative learning were effective in enhancing the sociability of low-status, low-skilled preschool children.

      • 단전 호흡 및 기춤이 청소년의 기초 체력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of the study was to examine the effects of Danjeon breath and Qi-dance on the basic physical strength improvement among middle school students. The subjects were 30 second-grade students attending a middle school in Pusan (15 students for an experimental group and 15 students for a controlled group). The program was composed of 20 sessions (five sessions a week for four weeks) and each session lasted for 60 minutes. The training program was Danjeon breath (warmingup movement-Danjeon breath-arrangement movement) and Qi-dance. Pre and post test measures were sit-ups, standing long jump, shuttle run, trunk flexion, and Harvard step. Major findings of this study were as follows. 1. The students in the experimental group showed improvement at the mean score. The amount of improvement was 2.93 times at sit-ups, 3.21 cm at standing long jump, 1.63cm at trunk flexion, and 3.80 steps at Harvard steps. 2. The students in the experimental group showed only 0.06 second improvement at shuttlerun. It showed that Danjeon breath and Qi-dance didn't influence power. I expected that both power and agility are hardly related with this training program. But only agility was found to be hardly related with this program. So another study is needed to find out the reasons. 3. Due to the short period of this training program, the shortage of participants, and the big difference of score among individuals, there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the controlled group. But there will be significant difference after at least three months' training when we consider the increase at the mean score. This study shows the possibility the our traditional Danjeon breath and Qi-dance will be helpful to education for the whole man. I suggest Danjeon and Qi-dance as a practical approach to physical education which is based on 'some', a way to reach the goal of physical education which emphasizes both body and mind, and a way to attain spiritual enlightment.

      • 태양의 고도에 대한 6학년 학생의 개념인식 유형 조사

        본 연구는 ‘태양의 고도’에 대하여 국민학교 6학년 학생들이 가지고 있는 개념인식유형을 조사한 것이다. 이 연구에서는 서울소재 국민학교 6학년 학생 211명을 무선 군표집하였으며, 지필검사와 면담을 병행하여 조사하였다. 이 연구에 의하면 1) 학생들은 태양의 고도에 대하여 다양한 개념인식유형을 가지고 있으며, 2) 특히, 태양광선이 ‘대류’를 한다든가, 혹은 ‘흘러내린다’라는 식으로 “유체”와 동등한 성질을 가진 것으로 인식하고 있었으며, 3) 또, 태양광선은 지표에만 닿아서 오로지 지표만을 가열시킨다고 생각하였다. The purpose of this study is to analysis the patterns of concepts of sixth-grade-students on "altitude of the sun". For this study, 211 students were sampled from sixth-grade-students in Seoul, and studied by both paper-tests and interviews. Now, we could get the conclusions as the following. 1) The selected students had the various patterns of concepts on altitude of the sun. 2) Especially, the students conceived 'lights of the sun' as "fluid". 3) Or, the students conceived that lights of the sun contact with the ground directly.
