      • Agronomic Characters and Their Correlation Coefficient on Black Seeded Soybeans Collected in Chonnam Province

        In order to obtain the genetic information on the quantitative characters of black seeded soybeans, which would be needed to improve selection efficiency for breeding high yielding genotype, 45 varieties of black seeded soybeans collected in Chonnam, Korea were grown and variations of several important characters were observed. Heritability of each observed character, phenotypic and genotypic correlations among the characters and contribution of each yield component on grain yield through path coefficient analysis were estimated. Both number of pods per plant and 100-seed weight showed not only high heritability but also highly significant phenotypic and genotypic correlation with seed yield, and hence it was desirable to select plants with more number of pods per plant and higher 100-seed weight than raise seed yield of black seeded soybeans collected in Chonnam. In addition, number of pods per and 100-seed weight were proved to be the most influential variables on the viability of seed yield by path coefficient analysis. Since these showed the high heritability of number of pods per plant, selection of plants with higher 100-seed weight would be more efficient for breeding high yielding genotype.

        Analysis on the Value Chain Structure of Musical Satisfaction Using Path Analysis Kim, Haw-rye/Kwon, Byung-woong/Kim, Youn-tae Path analysis is a form of statistical analysis used to examine therelationships betweenvariablesand its advantage is to enable direct effect, indirect effect and spuriouseffect which are hard to identify by regression analysis. Using path analysis, this study examined the value chain structure of musical elements such as distribution, planning, production and consumption which are expected to affect musical satisfaction. The selected population was Seoul Citizens who watched musicals at least one time and, through random sampling, 250 were selected as sample at eight musical theaterslocated in Daehakro, Chungmuro, etc. in Seoul. Among the questionnaires collected from the 250 samples, 212 were used for this study except 38 unfit for analysis. Survey is composed with total of 24 questions which include 6 demographic questions, 17 audience tendency questions and 18 satisfaction questions. We made value chain structure analysis by dividing each level of satisfaction in planning, manufacturing, distribution and consumption and executing subsequent factor analysis in those satisfaction questions. Study results after reliability analysis of 18 satisfaction level questions showed high level of 0.893 reliability coefficient and therefore, we can tell there exists high level of internal consistency in each factor.

        Seven new 7-H(or bromo)-4-hydroxy-2H(or methyl)-N-(5-aralkyl-3-aminohydantoinyl) -1,2-benzothiazine-3-carboxamide-1,1-dioxide derivatives were synthesized through the condensation of 7-H(or bromo)-4-hydroxy-2H(or methyl)-1,2-benzothiazine-3-carboxylic acid methyl ester 1,1-dioxides with 5-substituted-3-aminohydantoins. The analgesic activities of the synthesized compounds were investigated by Randall-Selitto assay. Most compounds exhibited lower activities but compound 6 and 7 showed higher analgesic activities than piroxicam.

        Ubiquitous technology have been elevating the standard of living since all of electronic equipments set up a complex network. A rise in national income and the improved standards of living have extended people’s life and these trend would affect dietary trend of this era. Therefore, in this study, we try to develop smart restaurant service scenarios which is applied to the Ubiquitous Technology. Study objects are Korean food restaurant with smart technology which located on the second floor near the station influence area and average price is between 50,000 and 70,000 won. Basically on the theoretical study, we have implemented space analysis through fieldwork, photo shot and direct interview with restaurant owner. we suggested smart restaurant service scenarios based on two aspects; owner and guests and two categories; space and food. The result of this study as follows; first, guests could make a reservation order a menu and pay the bill through smart application based on restaurant database. Secondly, restaurant owner could trace information of food, approval of purchase, search based on appetite of customer, settlement of space mood and marketing strategy through RFID system.

        선삭가공에서 절삭력을 이용한 공구마멸의 감지

        The development of flexible automation in the manufacturing industry is concerned with production activities performed by unmanned machining system. A major topic relevant to metal-cutting operations is monitoring tool wear, which affects process efficiency and product quality, and implementing automatic tool replacements. In this paper, the measurement of the cutting force components has been found to provide a method for an in-process detection of tool wear. The static components of cutting force have been used to detect flank wear. To eliminate the influence of variations in cutting conditions, tools, and workpiece material, the force modeling is performed for various cutting conditions. The normalized force disparities are defined in this paper, and the relationships between normalized disparity and flank wear are established. Finally, artificial neural network is used to learn these relationships and detect tool wear. According to the proposed method, the static force components could provide the effective means to detect flank wear for varying cutting conditions in taming operation.

      • 특수전선도료용 Diisocyanate의 Blocking Reaction에 관한 연구

        Several types of blocking reactions between diisocyanates and blocking reagents have been tried to obtain better raw materials for polyurethane varnishes. The existence of catalyst have been found to be the most important factor for the NCO blocking reactions of TDI and MDI. For blocking reagents. aliphatic alcohol showed better reactivity than aromatic because of less steric hindrance. All most all of the NCO groupes have been blocked very easily with any types of catalyst such as base amine and organometallics. Among them. Dabco and N.Nidimethyl cyclohezylamine were jound to be best catalysts for the these types of NCO blocking reations.

      • 임상화학 검사의 Delta Check System 개발 및 정도관리 효율성 검토

        Background : The application of the delta check in tests in general chemistry detects both random and clerical errors, thus enhancing the reliability of tests. However, since this approach adds the burden of confirming the results to the laboratory, it has the disadvantage of lengthening the turn around time of tests. We speculated that an online delta check system needed to reduce the turn around time. We developed delta quality control system and evaluated its effectiveness of quality control in clinical chemistry. Methods : We developed an online delta check system based on the client-server paradigm. We used IBM PentiumⅢ PC as server and as clients. The database system used was powerbuilder 6.0. Results : In the system we developed, delta screening was performed when test results were input to the computer. The decision over the delta screening was made by comparing it against patient's clinical information and cumulative results within the same screen. Conclusions : The developed delta check method made it available to reduce the turn around time previously spent on delta screening by eliminating the batch processing of tests which was needed in previous approaches separate query cumulative results and patient's clinical informations for screening purposes.

      • 상태천이회로의 최소 소비전력화를 위한 상태할당에 대해서

        CMOS 동기식 상태천이회로의 각 상태에 대한 상태 코드 할당이 유일하게 정하여 지지 않는 점에 착안하여, 천이가 발생하는 모든 상태사이에 Hamming거리가 1인 상태 코드를 할당하는 상태 할당 수법을 제한한다. 이 방법은 상태간의 천이에 발생하는 부하용량의 충방전에 의한 소비 전력을 최소화하는 상태 할당을 제공한다. 어를 위한 알고리즘을 제안하고 예를 통해서 본 방법의 유효성을 제시한다. 이 방법은 소비전력을 감소시킬 목적으로 제안되는 상태 할당의 기준으로써의 역할을 할 수 있을 것이다. 마지막 부분에 본 논문의 결과를 정리하고, 앞으로의 과제를 논의한다. A method of state assignment for CMOS synchronous finite state machines is described, which is effective for minimizing power dissipation in flip-flops. The method is based on a model that power dissipation in flip-flops is assumed to be proportional to average frequency of flip-flops' output states change. The minimum state code assignment obtained in this method is such that the Hamming distance of state codes, for a pair of states with a transition, is one. A minimum algorithm for the state code assignment is described along with examples. Results of this method becomes a criterion of state code assignment for reducing power dissipation of CMOS circuits. Finally, the topics in this paper are overviewed and several future problems are discussed.

        신규간호사를 위한 맞춤형 멘토 프로그램(새싹프로그램)의 개발 및 적용 : 일개 대학병원 중환자실을 중심으로

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop specialized mentor program to improve adaptation for new nurses of intensive care unit and to identify the effect of the program on early resignation rate. Methods: The study adopted nonequivalent control group, non synchronized design. Based on the identification of problems and the needs of new nurses, a 6 month specialized mentor program was developed. The program was consisted of three parts; developing knowledge, improving interpersonal relationship and increasing coping competency for emergency situation. Data were collected between July 2006 and 2008 from 37 nurses and the early resignation rate was compared before and after the implementation of the mentoring program. Results: Early resignation rate of the nurses who received the mentor program was significantly lower than that of the nurses who didn't. The resignation rate within 1 year dropped from 44.5% to 8.3%(p=.034). Conclusions: The specialized six month mentoring program was effective in reducing early resignation rate.

      • ICR계 마우스에서 홍화씨 에탄올 추출물의 급성독성시험

        The present study was carried out to investigate the potential acute toxicity of safflower seed by a single oral dose in ICR mice. Twenty animals of each sex were randomly assigned to four groups of 5 rats each and were administered singly by gavage at dose levels of 0, and 2,500 mg/kg bodyweight. Mortalities, clinical findings, and body weight changes were found and complete gross postmortem examinations were performed. Throughout the study period, no treatment-related deaths were observed. There were no adverse effects in clinical signs, body weight, and gross findings at any dose tested. The results showed that the single oral administration of safflower seed did not cause any toxic effect at the dose levels of 2,500 mg/kg in rats and the minimal lethal dose was considered to be over 2,500 mg/kg body weight for both sexes.
