본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 시스템의 기본적인 구조와 구성 요소들에 대해 알아보고, 각 구성 요소마다 효율적인 기능 수행을 위해 필요한 방안들을 연구해 본다. 멀티미디어 시스템은 크게 정보 관리 부 시스템, 저장 부 시스템, 네트워크 부 시스템으로 나눌 수 있다. 정보 관리 부 시스템은 멀티미디어 정보를 유형별로 분류하는 기능을 하고, 저장 부 시스템은 디스크에 멀티미디어 데이터를 효율적으로 저장하고 검색하는 방법을 제공한다. 그리고 네트워크 부 시스템은 서버에서 클라이언트로 주기적 전달을 보장하는 일을 한다. 본 논문에서는 이들의 기능에 대해 개괄적으로 살펴보고 이러한 기능들을 효율적으로 수행할 수 있는 방법론적인 기술도 함께 하겠다. The structural mechanisms and the components of the multimedia system are examined and the major functions of each components are studied. A multimedia system is largely composed of three subsystems ; the information management, the storage and the network. The information management subsystem separates the multimedia data into different data types. The storage subsystem stores and retrieves the media data on disks efficiently. The network subsystem guarantees the periodic data transfer from the server to the clients. The methodology for the effective performance of each subsystem is discussed.

This study was undertaken to measure peripheral blood T-lymphocyte during the various phases .of the normal menstrual cycle and to investigate the circadian variations of peripheral blood leukocytes. The experiment was carried out on three medical students in the dark-room under the light-dark regimen of L. D. 17: 7 for circadian rhythm and on fifteen nursing students under the normal life pattern for lunadian rhythm. A significant decrease in T -lymphocytes occurred during. the menstrual period. However, the percentages of T -lymphocytes returned to the pre-levels one week after the end. of the menstrual period. On the other hand, total numbers of lymphocytes and neutrophils showed ' no changes during the menstrual period. The acrophase of peripheral neutrophil count was in the early stage of activity span whereas the acrophases of peripheral eosinophil count and lymphocyte count were in the midstage of the rest span.

The purpose of this study is to find out the optimal mixing ratios of amounts of Mal-Cha for preparation of Jeung-Pyun through Sensory, Mechanical characteristics test. The proximate composition of Mal-Cha were a 5.46±0.15% of moisture, 4.43±0.11% of total nitrogen, 7.52±0.21% of crude lipid, 8.74% of crude fiber, 8.51±0.09% of ash. Overall quality in 1.5% Jeung-Pyun showed the worst of 0, 0.5, 1.0% Jeung-Pyuns(p<0.05), especially 1.0% Jeung-Pyun had relatively the best overall quality. But the sweetness, sourness, flavor, hardness, moistness were not significantly different among all Jeung- Pyuns. 0, 0.5, 1.0% Jeung-Pyuns showed the best quality of Jeung-Pyun through sensory, mechanical property. Total color difference was increased as amount of Mal-Cha(p<0.001).

2002년 3월부터 2003년 10월까지 유명산 자연휴양림을 대상으로 식물상과 산림군락구조를 조사한 결과, 관속식물이 98과 331속 570종 1아종 81변종 4품종 2교잡종으로 총 658종류로 나타났으며, 한국특산식물은 10과 14속 13종 2변종 1교잡종 총 16종류. 희귀 및 멸종위기식물은 9과 10속 11종 총 11종류, 귀화식물은 12과 22속 28종 총 28종류로 나타났다. 산림군락은 신갈나무-철쭉군목, 신갈나무-생강나무군단, 소나무-산거울군락, 잣나무-주름조개풀군락, 물푸레나무-신갈나무군락, 층층나무-신갈나무군락, 굴참나무-신갈나무군락, 싸리-신갈나무군락으로 전체 1군목, 1군단, 6군락이 분포하는 것으로 나타났다. The study was carried out to investigate the flora and community classification of forest vegetation in Mt. Yumyeong from March, 2002 to October, 2003. As a result of that, the vascular plants were 98 families, 331 genera, 570 species. 1 subspecies, 81 varieties, 4 formae, 2 hybrid, 658 taxa in all. Korean endemic plants were 10 families, 14 genera, 13 species, 2 variaties, 1 hybrid. 16 taxa in all ;, rare and endangered plants were 9 families, 10 genera. 11 species, 11 taxa in all ; naturalized plants were 12 families, 22 genera, 28 species, 28 taxa in all. The forest vegetation was classified into 1 order, 1 alliance. 6 communities : Rhododendro - Quercetalia mongolicae (Kim, 1990) Lindero - Quercion mongolicae (Kim, 1990) A. Carex humilis var. nana - Pinus densiflora Community B. Oplismenus undulatifolius - Pinus koraiensis Community C. Fraxinius rhynchophylla - Quercus mongolica Community D. Hydration behavior and radiopacity of strontium substituted Ca3SiO5 cement

This study reports a facile method to synthesize the calcium silicate-based cement with an enhanced radiopacifying performance. Sr-substituted Ca3SiO5 (Ca3−xSrxSiO5,x = 0.0 ~ 0.2) was prepared by solid-state reaction, and its phase, hydration behavior, and radiopacity were investigated and compared with those of 10 wt% Bi2O3 -added Ca3SiO5 . A nearly single-phase Ca3SiO5 was synthesized at 1400 °C and the solubility limit of Sr into Ca3SiO5 was approximately 3.3 mol % ( x = 0.1). The Sr substitution did not affect the size and morphology of Ca3SiO5 powder. The extent of hydration was slightly delayed in Sr-substituted Ca3SiO5, but the hydration products were the same composing of fiber-like calcium silicate hydrate (C–S–H) and plate-like calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH) 2 ). The radiopacity of Ca3SiO5 was significantly enhanced with Sr substitution and it was slightly higher than that of Bi2O3 -added Ca3SiO5 at a similar concentration. Consequently, Sr-substituted Ca3SiO5 can be a promising dental root canal filling material with an improved radiopacifying property.
An Efficient On-Demand Routing Approach with Directional Flooding for Wireless Mesh Networks

Current on-demand ad-hoc routing protocols are not appropriate for wireless mesh networks (WMNs), because flooding-based route discovery is both redundant and expensive in terms of control message overhead. In this paper, we propose an efficient on-demand routing approach with directional flooding (DF), which is suitable for the WMNs with limited mobility. In the route discovery process to reach a gateway, our DF scheme can reduce the number of route request (RREQ) packets broadcast by using a restricted directional flooding technique. Simulation results show that ad hoc on-demand distance vector (AODV) with DF (AODV-DF) can significantly reduce routing overhead by RREQ packets and enhance overall performance compared with the original AODV.
