        This paper shows the knowledge representation method for the possibility of the automation of the design and modeling of ship web frame in the level of detailed design using parametric design and case-based reasoning technique. It turns out that Case-Based Reasoning(CBR) based on casual model is successfully applied for the design automation.

      • 다환방향족 탄화수소에 오염된 토양에서 분리한 Pseudomonas sp. KK1의 생리학적 특성

        Strain KK1 was isolated from soil contaminated with polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and able to mineralize anthracene, naphthalene, and phenanthrene. In this study, strain KK1 was tested to evaluate carbazole-degrading potential using radiorespirometry. When KK1 was pre-grown on phenanthrene the cells were able to mineralize carbazole much more rapidly, suggesting a possible close linkage between the pathways for catabolism of carbazole and phenanthrene. Such an increase in carbazole degradation was not appreciable when KK1 was pre-grown on naphthalene. Strain KK1 was identified as the genus Pseudomonas with over 90 % confidence based on BIOLOG system and FAME analysis. Analysis of PLFAs extracted from kk1 cells on carbazole medium revealed that lipids 10:0 3OH, 17:0 cyclo, and 18:0 were representatives produced or significantly increased in response to carbazole. Tests for antibiotics provided the data that strain KK1 was resistant to antibiotic ampicillin, but susceptibile to chloramphenicol, gentamycin, kanamycin, streptomycin, and tetracycline. Strain KK1 demonstrated strong resistance to most heavy metals such as Ba, Cd, Fe, Hg, Pb used in this study.

        In these days, importance of textile design is emphasized, because of not only simple converting yarn into texture, but also the fact that textile design can generate high added value by adding sensual characteristics as color, pattern, texture, etc. Textile that is developed by good design stimulates fashion designers creativity and starts new fashion. Therefore, textile design should develop creative design related to current fashion, not only by individual design works. Timely collection and analysis of information are essential to forecast future markets and to produce appropriate textile in textile design development. Current textile design avoids the style of strong individuality that is designed by temporary sense, or simple sketch of patterns. First, information use should be empasized by considering foreign fashion information. Second, active investment should be done for information use. Third, informational material shows should be held in this country Fourth, textile designs hould develop their own qualification. Through these suggestions, efficient information use will lead to development of textile design.

        The water quality of the Hong-Cheon river was investigated during the winter season. The rate of contamination of the low tide was a little more than the high tide. But all values of the analyzed-items were similar to those in the clear water.

        Cured becon meats were manufactured from bacon using dry curing method with varing levels of sodium chloride. To study the changes of moisture content, water activity, pH, salt concentration, extractability of proteins, SDS-PAGE and ATPase activity of protein were investigated during curing period at 3±1℃. During the process of curing, the moisture content and water activity in bacon meat decreased while the pH and salt concentration increased. Extractabilities of protein and SDS-PAGE shows that changes in extractability of water soluble protein are less noticeable while the extractability of salt soluble protein depended on curing period. These changes were rapid in the high level concentration of sodium chloride. The ATPase activity of myofibril from cured bacon with low level of salt concentration demonstrated a higher sensitivity to ionic strength than that of myofibril from cured bacon with high levels.

      • Amorphus Selenium의 K吸收端 微細構造 硏究

        The K-abserpsion specterum of Amorphus Selenium were measured. The Speetrometer used is a single Crytal spectrometer which are modified a X-ray diffractometer. There have been several attemps to interpret the extented X-ray abserption fine structure(EXAFS) in terms of the final state interaction of photoelectron with surrounding atoms of the absorbing atom. The general formula of the EXAFS oscillations obtained for uncrystalline Selenium with unpolarized X-ray has been drived. Assuming only the single scattering atoms, the one electron theory with the Muffin-tin potential gives the absorption coefficient for the photoabsorption by an inner core electron with angular momentum. An inner-core electron absorbs the photon and is excited to the final continuum state with angular momentum above the Fermi level. The basic assumption made in the derivation of the formula on our calculation. 1) The absorbing atom phase shifts δ_l' are evaluated assuming neutral atom model. 2) In evaluating the backscattering amplitude f(π), the scattering phase shifts of photoelectron by surrounding atoms are calculated using the core wave function. The comparrison between theory and experiments shows a good agreement.

        Today's dyeing has greatly been influenced to our esthetic sense as well as emotional aspects in social life. Among various kind of dyeing techniques, BATIK has only the depth of teconique as one of dyeing techniques which are widely acknowledged, and has distinguishedd effect as well as expressin width of various moulding. The purpose of this thesis is to understand BATIK as a moulding art to study on the possibility of expression. To express enough the difect of technique for BATIK, the quality of various kind of wax, dyes, relation to clothes, including tools to be used, shall be fully understood and applied proparly. They can be expressed in many ways by using such materials and tools and also be expressed with Crack dyeing method, oxidation blea(ning and wax block based ion la Ibasic dyeing method of BATIK. Accordingly, they can be used by mixing each other. In case that such expression style are properly applied to the objective design, a splendid moulding can be made as well as paintings and special effect can be obtained only by BATIK. However, BATIK is restriceted by material and use of tool. Therefore, it is considered that the development of various expression techniques, which may overcome such restriction, stell be carried out in the near future.

        This paper is designed to equalize the points obtained from different tests of agility by means of equipercentile equating in accordance with grade and sex. The subjects consist of 923 high school students who have ever gone through the tests of power. As a result, I have reached the following conclusion. 1. I used equipercentile equating for recording the tests of power of the first male graders, coming up with equalized values such as 223㎝ in a standing board jump, 33.7m in five seconds' running and 42m in throwing, and 53m in a vertical jump at the 50 percent level. 2. The second male graders, coming up with equalized values such as 232㎝ in a standing board jump, 33.5m in five seconds' running and 42m in throwing, and 57㎝ in a vertical jump at the 50 percent level. 3. The third male grades, coming up with equalized values such as 242㎝ in a standing board jump, 34.8m in five seconds' running and 45m in throwing, and 57㎝ in a vertical jump at the 50 percent level. 4. The first female graders, coming up with equalized values such as 168㎝ in a standing board jump, 25.8m in five seconds' running and 10m in throwing, and 34㎝ in a vertical jump at the 50 percent level. 5. The second female grader, coming up with equalized values such as 174㎝ in a standing board jump, 25.8m in five seconds' running and 17m in throwing, and 31㎝ in a vertical jump at the 50 percent level. 6. The third male graders, coming up with equalized values such as 187㎝ in a standing board jump, 27m in five seconds' running and 16.6m in throwing, and 30㎝ in a vertical jump at the 50 percent level.
