      • Analog Filter Circuits Feature Selection Using MRMR and SVM

        This paper addresses frequency response feature extraction of analog filter circuits. An approach for feature selection using criteria of maximum relevance minimum redundancy (MRMR) and support vector machine (SVM) is proposed. Key idea of the method is to obtain candidate feature subsets with descending order using criteria of MRMR first, and then to select the optimal feature subset through cross validation results of each feature subset using SVM. Experimental results testify that the proposed approach has the advantages of less time-consuming and the selected features have reasonable distribution.

        Mechanism of sulfamethoxazole adsorption on wastewater-sludge-based biochar: Sludge type and modification improvement

        With rapid industrialization and population growth, sewage sludge generation has increased worldwide, and it needs to be treated properly. The pyrolysis of sewage sludge into biochar provides sustainable benefits for concomitant pollutant adsorption and waste treatment. Sulfamethoxazole (SMX) antibiotics are highly prevalent in waste-water owing to their widespread utilization and low metabolic rate and removal efficiency during conventional waste-water treatment. Biochar is known to effectively remove pollutants from wastewater. However, the adsorption capacity and mechanism of SMX adsorption onto sludge-based biochar are currently unclear. Therefore, the adsorption behavior of SMX on sludge-based biochar from three sources (raw sludge, compost sludge, and digested sludge) and ZnCl2-modified biochar was investigated. Among the unmodified biochars, raw sludge-based biochar exhibited the highest adsorption capacity, followed by compost sludge-based and digested sludge-based biochar. The pore-forming effect of ZnCl2 application significantly increased the biochar specific surface area, which increased the equilibrium adsorption of SMX from 6.1 mg/g to 49.3 mg/g. The adsorption mechanisms involved electrostatic interactions, pore filling, hydrophobic interactions, hydrogen bonding, and π-π interactions. The findings of this study demonstrate the development of sewage sludge biochar and its effectiveness for the treatment of antibiotics containing wastewater.

        Digital finance, absorptive capacity and enterprise dual innovation: an empirical analysis on mediation and threshold effects

        Based on the data of listed companies in Chinese A stock marketbetween 2011 and 2020, This paper discusses the empiricalanalysis of digitalfinance on enterprise dual innovation byadopting the mediating effect model and threshold regressionmodel, and estimates the mediation and threshold effects ofabsorptive capacity among them. Our studyfind that thedevelopment of digitalfinance exerts a significant positive effecton enterprise dual innovation. Compared with exploitativeinnovation, digitalfinance exhibits a greater promoting effect onexploratory innovation. Absorptive capacity displays a greatermediating effect between digitalfinance and exploratoryinnovation, and exploitative innovation reveals a significantpositive effect on exploratory innovation. There is non-linearrelationship between digitalfinance and corporate dualinnovation, and the promotion effect shows a leaping growthpattern and significant threshold effect. The heterogeneityanalysis from the perspective of property rights and enterprisesize shows that the incentive effect of digitalfinancedevelopment on enterprises dual innovation is mainly reflected innon-state-owned enterprises and small and medium-sizedenterprises. This research expands the relevant theories ofcorporate innovation and digitalfinance, to provides empiricalevidence for corporate decision-making.

        Surface morphology and deuterium retention in W and W-HfC alloy exposed to high flux D plasma irradiation

        In this work, pure W and W-0.5wt%HfC alloy (WHC05) were fabricated by sintering and hot-rolling following the same processing route. After exposing to a high flux deuterium plasma irradiation with the Dþ flux to three fluences of 6.00 1024, 2.70 1025 and 7.02 1025 D/m2, the evolution of surface morphology, deuterium retention and hardening behaviors in pureWand WHC05 has been studied. The SEM results show the formation of D blisters on the irradiated area, and with the increase of D implantation, the size of these blisters increases from 200 ~ 500 nm (2.70 1025 D/m2) to 1 ~ 2 mm (7.02 1025 D/m2) in WHC05 and from 1 ~ 2 mm (2.70 1025 D/m2) to > 3 mm (7.02 1025 D/m2) in pure W, respectively. A higher D retention and obvious hardening are observed in pure W than that of the WHC05 alloy, indicating an improve radiation resistance in WHC05 compared to pure W.

        Effect of an Antioxidant from Bamboo Leaves Combined with Tea Polyphenol on Biogenic Amine Accumulation and Lipid Oxidation in Pork Sausages

        The effect of an antioxidant from bamboo leaves (AOB) combined with tea polyphenol (TP) on biogenic amine accumulation and lipid oxidation in pork sausages during storage was investigated. The peroxide (POV) and the 2-thiobarbituric acid (TBA) values were determined for 8 biogenic amines. Treatment with AOB combined with TP showed a significant (p<0.05) antioxidative effect with lower POV and TBA values, and suppression of accumulation of the total level of biogenic amines, and the individual biogenic amines tryptamine, putrescine, cadaverine, histamine, and tyramine, compared to control sausages. Treatment with AOB combined with TP is a promising candidate for retardation of lipid oxidation and prevention of biogenic amine formation in pork sausages.

      • A Key Management and Cross-layer Routing Scheme for Wireless Sensor Networks

        In this paper, a key management and security multi-hop routing scheme based on cross layer (SMRCL) was proposed for wireless sensor networks. The core of SMRCL has two parts as following. Firstly, a key management based on polynomial and time deployment for wireless sensor networks is proposed. In this scheme, the sensor nodes are divided into several deployment groups and deployed the network according to the time. Moreover polynomial is used instead of common key, which the redundant polynomial is deleted when a deployment group has been deployed to the network. Secondly, a multi-hop routing algorithm is proposed based on cross-layer, which can be used in large scale. In the algorithm, we can use the information of the MAC layer, consider the cross-layer design by the ratio of the packet sending/reception rate and queue length to improve the network load ability. Simulation results demonstrate that SMRCL can save energy and balance the network load and improve the network lifetime. Comparison of the probability of the sensor connectivity, performance of resistance to the node capture and the sensor node overheads, show that the scheme can guarantee the high probability of node secure connectivity, improves the performance of resistance to the node capture, reduces the node storage overhead effectively.

        Adaptive Adjustment of Compressed Measurements for Wideband Spectrum Sensing

        Compressed sensing (CS) possesses the potential benefits for spectrum sensing of wideband signal in cognitive radio. The sparsity of signal in frequency domain denotes the number of occupied channels for spectrum sensing. This paper presents a scheme of adaptively adjusting the number of compressed measurements to reduce the unnecessary computational complexity when priori information about the sparsity of signal cannot be acquired. Firstly, a method of sparsity estimation is introduced because the sparsity of signal is not available in some cognitive radio environments, and the relationship between the amount of used data and estimation accuracy is discussed. Then the SNR of the compressed signal is derived in the closed form. Based on the SNR of the compressed signal and estimated sparsity, an adaptive algorithm of adjusting the number of compressed measurements is proposed. Finally, some simulations are performed, and the results illustrate that the simulations agree with theoretical analysis, which prove the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive adjusting of compressed measurements.

        Polydopamine Used as Hollow Capsule and Core-Shell Structures for Multiple Applications

        Polydopamine (PDA) capsule and core – shell structures with tailored structures and properties are of particular interests due to their multifunctions and potential applications as new colloidal structures in diverse fields. Among the available fabrication methods, PDA film onto colloidal particles followed by selective template removal has attracted extensive attention due to its advantages of precise control over the size, wall thickness and functions of the obtained capsules. The past several years has witnessed a rapid increase of research concerning the new fabrication strategies, functionalization and applications of this kind of capsules and core – shell structures, particularly in many fields such as drug delivery, catalysis, antibacterial, etc. In this review, the very recent progress of the capsule and core – shell structures based on PDA are summarized. There are basically two sections, including the fabrication process of PDA capsules, core – shell structures, and the various applications based on PDA.

        Robust Boundary Vibration Control of Uncertain Flexible Robot Manipulator with Spatiotemporally-varying Disturbance and Boundary Disturbance

        In this paper the vibration control problem is addressed for the Euler-Bernoulli beam with system parameters uncertainties, spatiotemporally-varying disturbance, and boundary disturbance. By using global sliding-mode boundary control (GSMBC) through method of lines (MOL), a robust boundary control design is suggested to diminish the perturbations of uncertain Euler-Bernoulli beam and to compensate the influence of the spatiotemporally varying disturbance and boundary disturbance. Dynamics of the Euler-Bernoulli beam are described by nonhomogenous hyperbolic partial differential equation (PDE) and ordinary differential equations (ODEs). MOL is employed to acquire the beam dynamics represented by ODE system in lieu of PDE system, therefore a precise solution is obtained by solving the resulting ODE system. Then, GSMBC is established for mitigating the vibrations of the beam affected by system parameters uncertainties, spatiotemporally-varying disturbance, and boundary disturbance. Chattering phenomena is avoided by using exponential reaching law supported by a relay function. Exponential convergence and stability robustness of the closed-loop system are assured by Lyapunov direct approach. In the end, simulation outcomes show that the GSMBC-based MOL scheme is valid for vanishing the vibrations of the uncertain Euler-Bernoulli beam efficiently.
