Four Years Reports of "Journal of Korean Neuropsychiatric Association" during 2001 to 2005 were evaluated by 18 Editorial Board of Korean Neuropsychiatric Association. We investigated the articles to specific fields and rejection rate etc. by different section chiefs. Although several problems concerning review time duration and rejection guideline issues indicated but generally all reviewer processes proved relatively clear and concise criteria. Through these objective and systematic evaluation Processes, "Journal of Korean Neuropsychiatric Association" will develop a good journal.

Plane Stress 상태와 Plane Strain 상태에서의 피로균열 성장 거동에 관한 연구

This paper is concerned with the fatigue crack growth rates for both the plane stress and the plane strain conditions. In general, the specimen surface may be assumed to satisfy the plane stress condition and inner part of specimen the plane strain condition. As the specimen material, PMMA was selected. Crack length was measured both at the inner part of specimen and on the specimen surface. Since PMMA is transparent, the inner part crack length could be measured exactly. Center cracked tension (CCT) specimens which were recommened by ASTM Standard E647-85 were used in the testing proceses. In order to analyze da/dN-ΔG relation, G-K relation was applied to both test conditions, the plane stress and the plane strain. From the experimental studies, following conclusions were obtained. 1) Concerning with the relation of da/dN-ΔK the value of m for plane strain condition is appeared greater than that of plane stress condition. 2) As the thickness increases, the difference between the value of m in the plane strain condition and in the plane stress condition becomes rather greater. 3) The power of the exponential relation between da/dN and ΔG; da/dN=C(ΔG)^m appears similar to that of the relation; da/dN=C'(ΔK)^m' ; m??m'. 4) The value of m is constant for plane stress condition. The value of m for PMMA is approximately 3.5.

Fatigue failure modes of symmetrical LOP fillet weldments are dependent on the characteristics of the fatigue crack initiation and propagation from the weld toe or the weld root. In this study, constant amplitude fatigue tests on symmetrical LOP fillet weldments carried out, and fatigue properties were evaluated. Also, an attempt was made to develop the fatigue strength and fatigue life of symmetrical fillet weldments containing lack of penetration. From the result of this study, fatigue crack growth characteristics of symmetrical LOP fillet weldments are found to be affected by the weld geometry, stress range and microstructures of the welding zone.

Point-Location모델을 이용한 산지시장가격의 동태적 구조 분석

This study uses a cointegration method based on point-location model to analyze spatial price relationship among kyungpook cattle markets in korea. According to the results, there is a cointegration relationship between prices of male and female cattle markets. This suggest that these markets are linked with the single market spatially. The prices of Koryoung female cattle market in south and Youngju female cattle market in north have influence on the price change of other female cattle market and play an important role in price movement of other female cattles. In case of impulse response results, the price of female cattle market appears to adjust to equilibrium level faster than that of male cattle market.

차동-구동 이동 로보트에 대한 Cross-Coupling 동작 제어기의 설계

We describes the design and implementation of Cross-Coupling controller for differential-derive mobile robot. Controller directly minimizes the siginificant error by coordinating the motion the drive wheels. Robot motion error classified into internal and external errors. Cross-Coupling control method is used to compensate for the internal errors that can be detected by wheel encoders. Simulation are conducted to evaluate the control system and the results show improvements over conventiona1 controllers.

수종 표면 보호재의 도포가 광중합형 유리 아이오너머 수복물의 변연 누출 및 미세 경도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of several surface coating agents in preventing microleakage and increasing microhardness of light-cured glass ionomer restoration. 50 and 25 sound molar teeth were used for the microleakage test and microhardness test respectively. Data were analyzed statistically using Kruskal-Wallis and/or Mann-Whitney test. The results of the present study were as follows: 1.The effect of surface coating in reducing microleakage was proven only at the gingival margin of restorations with statistical significance(p<.05) 2.The distribution of microleakage score at gingival margin was shown to be better than that of occlusal margin in general but with no statistically significant differences(p>.05) 3.No statistically significant differeces in microhardness could be found between groups(p>.05) regardless of depth of measurement. 4.Under the present experimental conditions, the types or application of surface coating agents did not impose any significant effect on microhardness of glass ionomer restorative material whereas the protective effect of surface coating in reducing microleakage was partly proven.

소아 야뇨증의 치료

Nocturnal enuresis is a symptom rather than a disease. Lots of theories have been proposed to explain why children with nocturnal enuresis fail to recognize or respond to their full or contracting bladder during sleep. Although these theories, which include behavioral, genetic, developmental, neurologic, psychological, urodynamic, and organic causes, are diverse and may be able to explain selected cases, there is no single explanation for this symptom, and in each individual multiple factors may be operative. Clearly, the vast majority of children with nocturnal enuresis do not suffer from psychiatric, neurologic, or urologic disturbances, and investigation and treatment along these lines is both inappropriate and unrewarding. A number of treatment modalities have been used for nocturnal enuresis, but their effectiveness, even in controlled studies, has been difficult to assess because of the high spontaneous annual remission rate (15%) and the extremely high placebo improvement effect, which can exceed 65%. Proven, reproducible, and effective therapy has evolved along two lines: drug therapy and behavioral modification. The physician who cares for patients with enuresis must develop an orderly, practical, and effective approach to evaluating and treating the children who present with nocturnal enuresis.

소프트웨어 개발에 따른 생산성 측정에 관한 연구

The development of software has a foundation for producing high-class software by evaluating and reflecting development fund and size correctly in the begining. There are many ways to evaluate size of software, but function point makes an accurate measurement by function ality, is used in many fields, and has excellent results in economic view. The main objective of this study is to seek for function point per man-month for develpment size and to apply funciton point as a project model to entrance examination systems of three universities and to compare the result with normal function point of US. Also we will expect development size evaluation nearly the same if we can reflect many chief cause in comparing program line count of COBOL by function point with program line count Written in COBOL. Hence function point can be used in formal contract between clients and producers software. Also. it can produce excellent project by consulting with clients if the terms desired changes or adds after initial consult.

흡입 스월유동이 가솔린 가시화엔진의 연소에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

This study describes the combustion characteristics under various condition of air excess ratio and ignition timing in a 2-valve gasoline optically accessible engine with swirl control valve(SCV). It adapted three different types of SCV(open ratio 72.5%, 78%, 89%) to strengthen a swirl flow. Pressure data were acquired using pressure sensor to investigate the effect of swirl flow on combustion, and from these pressure data, IMEP(indicated mean effective pressure) and MFB(mass fraction burnt) were calculated to explain burn rate and flame speed. From acquired flame images, inspected the flame propagation direction, flame area, and flame centroid. Flame propagation direction was shown different tendency between with/without SCV, and flame area with SCV was faster and larger than that of conventional engine. Finally, the representative flame images at each crank angle were acquired by PDF method to verify flame growth process. It is found that strengthened swirl flow is more beneficial for faster and stable combustion.
