This study describes the impact of the absorption of Solar Radiation (SR) on temperatures and subsequent thermal stress development in Jointed Plain Concrete Pavements (JPCP). A one-dimensional heat transfer model is proposed to predict the temperature distribution through the slab depth. In this model, the inputted SR has features with both deterministic and probabilistic features. The deterministic factor is the monthly mean observed SR. The probabilistic component is computed by assuming that the monthly SR’s variation between the maximum and minimum observed radiations follow a random normal distribution, whose standard deviation depends on the uncertainties of the observed monthly SR. Considering that the amount of SR absorption may be inherited from both within and under the slab, we study the impact of the SR history on the temperature and thermal-induced stresses through the slab. The results show that when the local weather shifts from sunny day to cloudy day or vice versa, the maximum temperature and JPCP’s thermal stresses shift by up to 5℃ and 0.3 MPa, respectively. Other than the SR, we also estimate the influences of the sunrise/sunset times and of the pavement surface absorptivity on rigid pavements.
New Structure Design of Magnet for 1 MJ HTS SMES
Wei Wei,Yinghong Luo,Liying Han 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Grid and Distributed Comp Vol.9 No.9
In recent years, the superconducting technology is popular in our production and life. An increasing number of researchers and institutions participate in study of the super-conducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) system. SMES is widely used in power sup-ply system, new energy system and pulsed power supply system. However, the leakage magnetic field of traditional SMES is more serious, which limited the application in engi-neering. This paper proposes an improved scheme for the 1 MJ single-solenoid structure magnet by using the actively shielding theory. Moreover, by using particle swarm optimi-zation, the structural parameters of the superconducting magnets are optimized respec-tively. Finally, the ANSYS modeling simulation is built by these structural parameters, all simulation data are analyzed and compared.
Ga2O3/HZSM-48 for dehydrogenation of propane: Effect of acidity and pore geometry of support
Yingjie Ren,Jie Wang,Yinghong Yue,Zi Gao,Weiming Hua 한국공업화학회 2012 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.18 No.2
The catalytic performance of propane dehydrogenation over HZSM-48 supported Ga2O3 catalysts in the presence of CO2 was investigated, and compared with that of HZSM-5 supported ones. The activity decreases with the increase of Si/Al ratio of catalyst support while the selectivity to propene shows a contrary trend. Ga2O3/HZSM-48 with Si/Al ratio of 130 has the best propene yield of 22%. HZSM-48supported catalysts exhibit higher selectivities to propene than the HZSM-5 supported ones at similar propane conversion, due to their weak acid strength. However, their stabilities are not so good as those of the latters, owing to their more weak acid sites and unidimensional pore structures.
Lightweight high-precision pedestrian tracking algorithm in complex occlusion scenarios
Qiang Gao,Zhicheng He,Xu Jia,Yinghong Xie,Xiaowei Han 한국인터넷정보학회 2023 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.17 No.3
Aiming at the serious occlusion and slow tracking speed in pedestrian target tracking and recognition in complex scenes, a target tracking method based on improved YOLO v5 combined with Deep SORT is proposed. By merging the attention mechanism ECA-Net with the Neck part of the YOLO v5 network, using the CIoU loss function and the method of CIoU non-maximum value suppression, connecting the Deep SORT model using Shuffle Net V2 as the appearance feature extraction network to achieve lightweight and fast speed tracking and the purpose of improving tracking under occlusion. A large number of experiments show that the improved YOLO v5 increases the average precision by 1.3% compared with other algorithms. The improved tracking model, MOTA reaches 54.3% on the MOT17 pedestrian tracking data, and the tracking accuracy is 3.7% higher than the related algorithms and The model presented in this paper improves the FPS by nearly 5 on the fps indicator.

The bacterial community living in the insect gut may play an important role in nutrition, immunity and protection, detoxification of toxins, and inter- and intra-specific communication. Rice leaffolder Cnaphalocrocis medinalis (Guenée) (Lepidoptera: Crambidae) is a notorious pest in rice, and the diversity of the gut bacteria of C. medinalis across life stages are not well understood. Here, the diversity and abundance of the gut bacterial community in C. medinalis through life stages were investigated using Illumina Miseq technology. A total of 22 bacterial phyla, 42 classes, 100 orders, 179 families, 350 genera and 395 species were identified across the different life stages of C. medinalis. Proteobacteria and Firmicutes phyla were the dominant bacterial taxa. Members of the genera Enterococcus, unclassified Enterobacteriaceae, Wolbachia, Acinetobacter, Stenotrophomonas, Microbacterium, Bacillus, Corynebacterium, Lampropedia, and Sphingobacterium were found at all life stages. Enterococcus and unclassified Enterobacteriaceae occupied higher relative abundance among bacteria community in the 2nd to 5th instar larvae, pupae and adults. The structure of bacterial community differed across the life stages of C. medinalis. Our findings will enrich the understanding of gut bacteria in C. medinalis, and will provide foundation and assistance for the development of novel pest management strategies through utilization of microbiota.

In this paper, a constitutive framework based on a crystalline plasticity model is employed to simulate the plastic deformation of AZ31 magnesium alloy, which posses the hexagonal close packed (HCP) crystal structure. Dislocation slip and mechanical twinning are taken into account in the model. The successive integration method is used to determine the active slip systems, and the contribution of twinning to the grain reorientation is treated by the PTR method. The FE model is introduced into ABAQUS/Explicit through a user material subroutine (VUMAT). Three deformation processes of AZ31 magnesium alloy, including tension, compression and a stamping process, are simulated with the present method. The simulation results are compared with experiment and those presented in the literature.

Plant shoot and root growth is regulated by multiplefactors, including the hormone auxin. A maize brachytic2(br2) mutant displays a shortened shoot and root with highauxin concentration in their apexes, where BR2 encodes anauxin transporter P-glycoprotein1 (PGP1). We employedcomparative transcriptome sequencing to explore the BR2/PGP1-mediated patterns for shoot and root growth amongbr2, wild type (WT), and hybrid F1 (br2 × WT). The resultsshow 352 genes in the br2 shoot and 234 genes in the br2root are differentially expressed compared to WT and F1. Zm00001d045203 and Zm00001d031562 were identified astwo auxin-responsive genes in both the shoot and root. TheZm00001d045203 gene is down-regulated in br2 and encodesan Aux/IAA inhibitor involved in the SCFTIR1/AFB-mediatedauxin signaling pathway. The up-regulated Zm00001d031562gene encodes a small GTPase belonging to the Rab/Yptfamily, which takes part in auxin-mediated responses inArabidopsis. Cytology analysis reveals that reduced cellelongation affects the shoot and root growth of br2. TheZm00001d043477 gene is down-regulated and encodes amember of the cellulose synthase protein family, possiblyreducing cell elongation in the br2 shoot and root. Theseresults reveal the specific regulation of auxin actions and cellresponses by BR2/PGP1.
