        Comparison Analysis of Resonant Controllers for Current Regulation of Selective Active Power Filter with Mixed Current Reference

        Instead of extracting every selected harmonic component, the current reference of selective active power filter (APF) can be also obtained by filtering out the fundamental component from distorted load current for computation efficiency. This type of mixed current reference contains kinds of harmonic components and easily involves noises. In this condition, selective harmonic compensation must be realized by the current controller. With regard that selectivity is the most significant feature of controller, this paper presents specific comparison analysis between two types of resonant controllers: proportional-resonant (PR) controller and vector-resonant (VR) controller. The comparison analysis covers the relations, performances, and stability of both controllers. Analysis results conclude that the poorer selectivity of the PR controller could be relatively improved, but limitations from system stability make the improvement hardly realized. By contrast, the VR controller exhibits excellent selectivity and is more suitable for selective APF with mixed current reference. Experimental results from laboratory prototype validate the reasonability of analysis. And the features of each resonant controller are concluded.

        A Single-phase Harmonics Extraction Algorithm Based on the Principle of Trigonometric Orthogonal Functions

        For a single-phase active power filter (APF), designing a more efficient algorithm to guarantee accurate and fast harmonics extraction with a lower computing cost is still a meaningful topic. The common idea still employs a IRPT-based Park transform, which was originally designed for 3-phase applications. Therefore, an additional virtual signal generation (VSG) link is necessary when it is used in the single-phase condition. This method, with virtual signal generation and transform, is obviously not the most efficient one. Regarding this problem, this paper proposes a novel harmonics extraction algorithm to further improve efficiency. The new algorithm is based on the principle of trigonometric orthogonal functions (TOF), and its mathematical principle and physical meaning are introduced in detail. Its implementation and superiority in terms of computation efficiency are analyzed by comparing it with conventional methods. Finally, its effectiveness is well validated through detailed simulations and laboratory experiments.

        Novel Intensity-Based Fiber Optic Vibration Sensor Using Mass-Spring Structure

        본 논문에서는 질량-스프링 구조를 이용한 새로운 광세기 기반 광섬유 진동센서를 제안하고 시뮬레이션과 부분 실험을 통하여 그 실현 가능성을 제시한다. 제안한 광세기 기반 광섬유 진동센서는 네 개의 구불구불하게 휘어지는 스프링과 질량체 안의 사각형 개구면(aperture)으로 구성된 질량-스프링 구조를 가진다. 광시준기(optical collimator)는 질량체 안의 사각형 개구면의 변위에 의해서 변조되는 광을 넓히는 데 이용된다. 제안한 광섬유 진동센서를 광학적인 면과 기계적인 면에서 해석하고 설계한다. 기계적인 부분의 설계는 이론적인 해석, 수학적인 모델링 및 3 차원 유한요소법 시뮬레이션을 이용한다. 기계적인 진동이 가해질 때 개구면의 상대적인 변위관계를 3차원 유한요소법 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 구하고, 개구면의 상대적인 변위에 따른 출력값을 실험을 통하여 측정한다. 이를 이용하여 진동에 따른 출력 특성을 파악한 결과 센서 민감도 15.731 μW/G, 감지 영역 ±}6.087 G를 얻었다. 그리고 입력광원의 파워가 10 dB까지 변하더라도 참조광을 이용하여 0.75%의 상대오차를 보이는 매우 안정된 출력광 파워를 얻었다. 제안한 광섬유 진동센서는 간단한 구조, 저비용 및 다지점 측정 가능의 특징을 가지면서, MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) 기술을 이용하여 소형으로 간편하게 제작할 수 있는 잠재력을 가진다. In this paper, a novel intensity-based fiber optic vibration sensor using a mass-spring structure, which consists of four serpentine flexure springs and a rectangular aperture within a proof mass, is proposed and its feasibility test is given by the simulation and experiment. An optical collimator is used to broaden the beam which is modulated by the displacement of the rectangular aperture within the proof mass. The proposed fiber optic vibration sensor has been analyzed and designed in terms of the optical and mechanical parts. A mechanical structure has been designed using theoretical analysis, mathematical modeling, and 3D FEM (Finite Element Method) simulation. The relative aperture displacement according to the base vibration is given using FEM simulation, while the output beam power according to the relative displacement is measured by experiment. The simulated sensor sensitivity of 15.731 μW/G and detection range of ±6.087 G are given. By using reference signal, the output signal with 0.75% relative error shows a good stability. The proposed vibration sensor structure has the advantages of a simple structure, low cost, and multi-point sensing characteristic. It also has the potential to be made by MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) technology.

      • TLR9 Expression in Uterine Cervical Lesions of Uyghur Women Correlate with Cervical Cancer Progression and Selective Silencing of Human Papillomavirus 16 E6 and E7 Oncoproteins in Vitro

        Background: Cervical cancer is listed as one of high-incidence endemic diseases in Xinjiang. Our study aimed to evaluate the expression of TLR9 in uterine cervical tissues of Uyghur women and examine associations with clinicopathological variables. We further characterized the direct effects of TLR9 upon the selective silencing of human papillomavirus (HPV) E6 and E7 oncoprotein expression in HPV 16-positive human cervical carcinoma cells treated with siRNA in vitro. Materials and Methods: Immunohistochemistry was applied to evaluate TLR9 expression in 97 formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded cervical samples from Uyghur women; 32 diagnosed with cervical squamous cell carcinomas (CSCC), 14 with low-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasias (CINI), 10 medium-grade (CINII), 24 high-grade (CINIII), and 17 chronic cervicitis. $BLOCK-iT^{TM}$ U6 RNAi Entry Vector $pENTR^{TM}$/U6-E6 and E7 was constructed and transfected the entry clone directly into the mammalian cell line 293FT. Then the HPV 16-positive SiHa human cervical carcinoma cell line was infected with RNAi recombinant lentivirus. RT-PCR and Western blotting were used to determine the expression of TLR9 in both SiHa and HPV 16 E6 and E7 silenced SiHa cells. Results: Immunohistochemical staining showed that TLR9 expression was undetectable (88.2%) or weak (11.8%) in chronic cervicitis tissues. However, variable staining was observed in the basal layer of all normal endocervical glands. TLR9 expression, which was mainly observed as cytoplasmic staining, gradually increased in accordance with the histopathological grade in the following order: chronic cervicitis (2/17, 11.8%) <CINI (4/19, 28.6%) <CINII (3/10, 30.0%) <CINIII (12/24, 50.0%) <CSCC (17/32, 53.1%) (p<0.05), but not with tumor differentiation. RT-PCR and Western blotting showed that TLR9 expression was upregulated in HPV16 E6 and E7 silenced SiHa cells at both mRNA and protein levels. Conclusions: TLR9 expression increases according to the histopathological grade of cervical pathological process. HPV E6 and E7 oncoprotein have negative effects on the expression and function of TLR9.

        Thermal, Mechanical and Rheological Properties of Poly(lactic acid) Chain Extended with Polyaryl Polymethylene Isocyanate

        In this study, polyaryl polymethylene isocyanate (PAPI) was used as a chain extender for poly(lactic acid) (PLA)to produce a high molecular weight material with better rheological, thermal and mechanical properties. The reactionbetween PLA chains and PAPI was proved by FTIR during reactive blending. The results showed that the molecular weightand molecular weight distribution were increased with the addition of PAPI content due to the chain extension. Chainextension was also responsible for the increased modulus and complex viscosity. The glass transition temperature (Tg) andthermal stability increased by incorporating with PAPI. The results of mechanical properties showed that a considerablyhigher tensile strength and Young’s modulus of the reactive blends compared with neat PLA.

        CHARACTERIZING THE TIME-FREQUENCY PROPERTIES OF THE 4 Hz QUASI-PERIODIC OSCILLATION AROUND THE BLACK HOLE X-ray BINARY XTE J1550-564

        We present the results from analysis of the Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) for the 4 Hz quasi-periodic oscillations (QPO) around the black hole X-ray binary XTE J1550-564. The resultant Hilbert spectra demonstrate that the QPO is composed of a series of intermittent signals appearing occasionally. From the analysis of the HHT, we further found the distribution of the lifetimes for the intermittent oscillations and the distribution for the time intervals with no significant signal (the break time). The mean lifetime is 1.45 s and 90% of the oscillation segments have lifetimes less than 3.1 s whereas the mean break time is 0.42 s and 90% of break times are less than 0.73 s. We conclude that the intermittent feature of the QPO could be explained by the Lense-Thirring precession model and rules out interpretations of continual frequency modulation.

In this film, the director Bong Joon-ho goes straight to the pain point of social reality, focusing on the increasingly difficult to cross the rich and poor class. With the help of excellent audio-visual language and text symbols, the use of stairs, Windows, interior space and other images, the use of superb narrative skills and exquisite audio-visual language to construct a multi-level, h-depth metaphor system, so that the film not only has multiple interpretation space, but also rich in deep philosophical connotation, pushing its realistic irony to the climax.
