      • XRCC1 and ADPRT Polymorphisms Associated with Survival in Breast Cancer Cases Treated with Chemotherapy

        Aim: To investigate whether XRCC1 and ADPRT polymorphisms might be associated with outcomes of breast cancer. Methods: A prospective study was conducted with a total of 335 breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy consecutively collected from Jan. 2005 to Jan. 2008. Genotyping of XRCC1 and ADPRT polymorphisms was conducted by PCR-RFLP assay. Results: All 335 patients were followed up until death or the end of Jan. 2012, with a median follow-up period of 38.8 (2-64) months. It was shown that the variant genotype of XRCC1 399Gln/Gln was strongly significantly associated with a decreased risk of death from breast cancer, with an HR (95% CI) of 0.52 (0.28-0.91). Similarly, individuals carrying the ADPRT 762Ala/Ala demonstrated longer survival compared to ADPRT 762 Val/Val, with an HR (95% CI) of 0.58 (0.31-0.97). Individuals with combination genotypes of XRCC1 399Gln allele and ADPRT 762Ala/Ala presented with a longer survival, the HR (95% CI) being 0.56 (0.32-0.97). Conclusion: We found a significant association between XRCC1399Gln/Gln and ADPRT 762Ala/Ala polymorphisms and clinical outcomes. These two genotypes could be used as a surrogate markers of clinical outcome in glioma cases receiving chemotherapy.

        Hydroxysafflor Yellow A Protects Neuron Against Hypoxia Injury and Suppresses Inflammatory Responses Following Focal Ischemia Reperfusion in Rats

        Previous data demonstrated that hydroxysafflor yellow A (HSYA), a yellow color pigments extracted from the safflower, was an effective agent against focal cerebral ischemia. In the present study we demonstrated that HSYA prevented the injury in cultured cerebral cortical neurons induced by oxygen-glucose deprivation and increased the cell viability, as shown by the inhibition of both LDH and NO efflux. Further, HSYA administered orally 3 d before middle cerebral artery occlusion has the capacity to reduce cerebral infarct size and edema after 2 h cerebral ischemia followed by 24 h reperfusion in rats, and to significantly improve neurological behavior scores. Mean while, treatment with HSYA significantly decreased both mRNA and protein levels of IL-$1{\beta}$, TNF-$\alpha$ in ischemic brain tissue. These results suggested that the protection of HSYA results from, at least in part, suppression of inflammatory responses following focal ischemia reperfusion.

      • Research On Optimization In NC Bending Process Of Thin-walled Tube Based on Orthogonal Experiment

        In the process of research and development of tube bending forming technology, the way of improving the forming quality and establishing the optimization of forming process parameters has become an important problem that should be solved quickly. This text simulated the process of bend forming with the way of finite element, combined with the effects of geometric and physical parameters on the forming quality of bending pipe, taking the important parameters which are measurements of the pipe wall thickness variation as test indexes, made the virtual orthogonal experiment and gained the laws of the bending angle, relative bending radius, relative wall thickness, thrust, pipe friction coefficient between mode have effects on the forming quality of wall thinning rate and wall thickening. Through the comprehensive analysis and additional test, obtained the optimal parameters values, improved the accuracy of simulation and the optimization results of orthogonal test, improved the quality of tube bending forming.

        종족 축제와 종족 연극의 연구

        통상 학계에서 주목하는 연극으로, 문인과 선비, 고관과 귀인이 감상하는 예술극과 교통이 발달하고 경제가 번영한 도시에서의 오락극 및 향촌 사원 축제나 정기 시골장에서 상업성 극단이 연출하는 신과 인간이 함께 즐기는 연극을 들 수 있다. 그 연출 주체는 혹은 전문 직업극단의 예인이거나 혹은 문인으로 다소 훈련을 통해 소질을 갖춘 아마추어 배우이거나 혹은 농사를 지으며 때로 극단 활동을 하는 반 직업 배우다. 학자들은 극예술 자체에만 주로 관심을 기울인다. 그러나 일부 산간의 외진 곳에서는 여전히 오직 전적으로 종족의 제사에만 쓰이는 제사연극이 전승되고 있다. 공연의 조직은 종족의 어른이 담당하고, 배우는 종족 내 농가 자제들이 맡는다. 이는 대도시와 시골에서 유행하는 연극 양상과 크게 다르다. 그 공연은 종족의 연례 제사 때에 특별하게 이루어진다. 이런 제사 연극은 사회적으로 잘 알려져 있지 않아 아직 문화계 및 학계의 충분한 주의가 기울여지지 않고 있다. 복건성정화현 화양 촌의 종족연극은 바로 그 전형적인 예로 볼 수 있다. 그 종족 연극의 발견은 중국 고대 농업 사회에서 연극이 종족제사에서 차지하는 역할과 위상을 밝히고, 종족제사와 연극의 상호 의존 관계를 이해하는데 의미를 지니며, 고대 연극이 민간 종족 제사 의식 활동 가운데서 변천을 거듭하면서 전승되어 온 자연스런 양상을 보여 준다는 데 의의가 있다. 오늘날 고대 연극이 민간에 유전되고 존속되는 사회적 원인을 이해하고 탐구할 수 있는 기회를 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 중국 민간 연극사 연구에도 오래되었으면서도 살아있는 참조 물을 제공하는 셈이다. Generally, the operas studied by the academia are the "elegant" ones appreciated by the gentry, the entertaining ones played in the theatre of the metropolitan cities, and the ritual ones to amuse both gods and human beings performed in the temple stages of the villages and market places. The performers in these operas are professional actors of the theatrical troupe, well trained but semi-professional literati, and amateurs consist of farmer-actors. In the past, most scholars only paid attention to the operas that could be categorized as performing arts. But, in the remote mountain areas, there still exist one special ritual opera dedicates to the worship of lineage ancestors. The organizer is the head of the lineage, and the performers all come from the same lineage. As a specific ritual performance for annual ancestor worship, it is quite different from the popular operas in the cities and villages. Such kind of ritual opera is seldom noticed by the people, and ignored by the scholars. The lineage opera in Heyang village of Zhenghe County, Fujian is a typical example of it. The significance of the discovery lies in the new light it shed on the role and status operas had in ancestor worship in ancient agricultural China, the interdependent relationship of ancestor worship and operas, and the original form and development of traditional opera in the ritual of lineage. Thus, it also helps us to study the popularization of traditional opera in the folk societies and the social background for its development, providing a useful and fresh reference for the research of the history of Chinese opera.

        Cloning and Expression of cDNA Encoding a Cysteine Protease Inhibitor from Clamworm and Its Possible Use in Managing Anoplophora glabripennis Motschulsky (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae)

        A cDNA encoding a cysteine protease inhibitor (CPI) was isolated from the cDNA library of clamworm Perinereis aibuhitensis Grube. The deduced amino acid sequence analysis showed that the protein had 51%, 48%, and 48% identity with Zgc: 153129 from Danio rerio, cystatin B from Theromyzon tessulatum, and the ChainA, stefin B tetramer from Homo sapiens, respectively. The gene was cloned into the intracellular expression vector pET-15b and expressed in Escherichia coli. The recombinant CPI (PA-CPI) was purified by affinity chromatography on Nicharged resin and ion-exchange chromatography on DEAE-Sepharose FF. The relative molecular mass of PACPI was 16 kDa as deduced by SDS-PAGE. Activity analysis showed that the recombinant protein could inhibit the proteolytic activity of papain. A constitutive and secretive expression vector was also constructed, and the cDNA encoding CPI was subcloned into the vector for extracellular expression. Western blotting analysis results showed that the PA-CPI was secreted into the medium. Bioassay demonstrated that E. coli DH5α harboring pUC18ompAcat-CPI showed a significant difference in mortality to the Asian longhorned beetle Anoplophora glabripennis compared with untransformed E. coli DH5α and control.

        Free-edge effect in cross-ply laminated plates under a uniform extension

        Based on the basic equations of elasticity, free-edge effects on stresses in cross-ply laminated plates are found by using the state space method. The laminates are subjected to uniaxial-uniform extension plate, which is a typical example of general plane strain problem. The study takes into account material constants of all individual material layers and the state equation of a laminate is solved analytically in the through thickness direction. By this approach, a composite plate may be composed of an arbitrary number of orthotropic layers, each of which may have different material properties and thickness. The solution provides a continuous displacement and inter-laminar stress fields across all material interfaces and an approxiamte prediction to the singularity of stresses occurring in the boundary layer region of a free-edge. Numerical solutions are obtained and compared with the results obtained from an alternative numerical method.

        Fractal kinetic characteristics of uranium leaching from low permeability uranium-bearing sandstone

        The pore structure of uranium-bearing sandstone is one of the critical factors that affect the uraniumleaching performance. In this article, uranium-bearing sandstone from the Yili Basin, Xinjiang, China, wastaken as the research object. The fractal characteristics of the pore structure of the uranium-bearingsandstone were studied using mercury intrusion experiments and fractal theory, and the fractaldimension of the uranium-bearing sandstone was calculated. In addition, the effect of the fractal characteristics of the pore structure of the uranium-bearing sandstone on the uranium leaching kinetics wasstudied. Then, the kinetics was analyzed using a shrinking nuclear model, and it was determined that therate of uranium leaching is mainly controlled by the diffusion reaction, and the dissolution rate constant(K) is linearly related to the pore specific surface fractal dimension (DS) and the pore volume fractaldimension (DV). Eventually, fractal kinetic models for predicting the in-situ leaching kinetics wereestablished using the unreacted shrinking core model, and the linear relationship between the fractaldimension of the sample's pore structure and the dissolution rate during the leaching was fitted.

      • Research on Mobile Internet User Behavior Preference Based on Support Vector Machine

        With the rapid development of the mobile Internet, mobile Internet users grow rapidly and the preference is more diverse, and the user's behavior is also showing a new feature. In this study, we use qualitative research and quantitative research, combined with empirical data and simulation analysis and the combination of traditional statistical analysis and modern data mining methods, to study the behavior preference of mobile Internet. Besides, we use the discrete choice model to build the binaryLogit model using SAS tools, and analyze the selected variables through data processing. Based on the significant influence factors, the behavior preference of mobile Internet users is classified by using support vector machine. The C-SVM binary classification machine is used as kernel function, and the parameters of the model and kernel function are optimized by cross validation. In this research, we introduce the support vector machine theory into the research field of the mobile Internet user behavior effectively, solve the problem of small and medium-sized samples effectively, and provide new ideas and methods for the research of mobile Internet user behavior.
