This study is a research of affective variables of students in second-language acquisition, focusing on the anxiety of Chinese students majored in Japanese Language. 575 Japanese learners of 4 universities in China were investigated in and out of the classroom on second language anxiety. The result showed grade differences. The uneasy numerical value in the classroom of three grades made little difference. As for the seniors, uneasiness in numerical value was low whereas sophomores and juniors felt strongly about the uneasiness of the speed of a Japanese class. In addition, a lower standard of the uneasiness out of the classroom and a meaningful equilateral correlation were seen in a lower standard of the uneasiness in all classrooms. From the above-mentioned investigation, the actual situation of the second language anxiety of the Japanese learners in the Chinese universities may prove better. However, such a study is unable to be conducted until an examination about the effectiveness of the uneasy relaxation by the concrete instruction method and instruction method has been taken. Therefore, it is suggested that a study about the instruction method for a tendency and the content of the emotion should be done and learners should be taken into consideration in the future.
A Real-Time Vibration Frequency Measurement System of Bridge Pier
Yao-Ming,Hong,Jian-Rong,Zeng,Yao-Chiang,Kan,Hsueh-Chun,Lin 보안공학연구지원센터 2014 International Journal of Hybrid Information Techno Vol.7 No.6
This study developed a real-time remote monitoring system (RTRMS) to receive the vibration frequency of bridge pier. The system included a front station and a middle station. A multi-hop wireless routing is employed to transmit the data from the front to the middle station. The front station includes a receiver equipped to receive the vibration frequency, and a wireless sensor network to transmit the data. The middle station is designed by an embedded system for storing the data. The pressure test shows that the loss rate of received data is less than 0.6%. The consuming power of one day is 3 ampere hours in the front station and 30 ampere hours in the middle station if the 12 voltage battery is used.
Metastasis-associated Factors Facilitating the Progression of Colorectal Cancer
Zhang,,Yao-Yao,Chen,,Bin,Ding,,Yan-Qing Asian Pacific Organization for Cancer Prevention 2012 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.13 No.6
Tumor metastasis remains the principal cause of treatment failure and poor prognosis in patients with colorectal cancer. It is a multistage process which includes proteolysis, motility and migration of cells, proliferation in a new site, and neoangiogenesis. A crucial step in the process of intra- and extra-vasation is the activation of proteolytic enzymes capable of degrading the extracellular matrix (ECM). In this stage, urokinase plasminogen activator receptor (uPAR) and matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) are necessary. Micrometastases need the presence of growth factor and vascular growth factor so that they can form macrometastasis. In addition, cell adhesion molecules (CAMs) and guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs) play important roles in the progression of colorectal cancer and metastatic migration. Further elucidation of the mechanisms of how these molecules contribute will aid in the identification of diagnostic and prognostic markers as well as therapeutic targets for patients with colorectal metastasis.

Huixia,Wang,Yao,Yao 보안공학연구지원센터 2014 International Journal of Grid and Distributed Comp Vol.7 No.5
Using mathematical method to model Web workload locality characteristics is established based on the study of entropy and coefficient of variation. Experiments show that these metrics can depict locality characteristics more properly and are much easier to use.
Radio-Sensitization by Piper longumine of Human Breast Adenoma MDA-MB-231 Cells in Vitro
Yao,,Jian-Xin,Yao,,Zhi-Feng,Li,,Zhan-Feng,Liu,,Yong-Biao Asian Pacific Organization for Cancer Prevention 2014 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.15 No.7
Background: The current study investigated the effects of Piper longumine on radio-sensitization of human breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cells and underlying mechanisms. Materials and Methods: Human breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cells were cultured in vitro and those in logarithmic growth phase were selected for experiments divided into four groups: control, X-ray exposed, Piper longumine, and Piper longumine combined with X-rays. Conogenic assays were performed to determine the radio-sensitizing effects. Cell survival curves were fitted by single-hit multi-target model and then the survival fraction (SF), average lethal dose ($D_0$), quasi-threshold dose ($D_q$) and sensitive enhancement ratio (SER) were calculated. Cell apoptosis was analyzed by flow cytometry (FCM). Western blot assays were employed for expression of apoptosis-related proteins (Bc1-2 and Bax) after treatment with Piper longumine and/or X-ray radiation. The intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) level was detected by FCM with a DCFH-DA probe. Results: The cloning formation capacity was decreased in the group of piperlongumine plus radiation, which displayed the values of SF2, D0, Dq significantly lower than those of radiation alone group and the sensitive enhancement ratio (SER) of D0 was1.22 and 1.29, respectively. The cell apoptosis rate was increased by the combination treatment of Piper longumine and radiation. Piper longumine increased the radiation-induced intracellular levels of ROS. Compared with the control group and individual group, the combination group demonstrated significantly decreased expression of Bcl-2 with increased Bax. Conclusions: Piper longumine at a non-cytotoxic concentration can enhance the radio-sensitivity of MDA-MB-231cells, which may be related to its regulation of apoptosis-related protein expression and the increase of intracellular ROS level, thus increasing radiation-induced apoptosis.
The effects of ground compliance on flexible planar passive biped dynamic walking
Yao,Wu,Daojin,Yao,Xiaohui,Xiao 대한기계학회 2018 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.32 No.4
Passive biped dynamic walking exhibits humanoid gait. Many efforts have been made to implement a flexible and anthropomorphic passive model. However, the couple of flexible passive walker on compliant ground has not been well studied yet. The objective of this paper was to develop multibody dynamics for flexible passive walker on compliant ground, in which the nonlinear spring-damper contact model was used both in normal and tangential directions to represent ground compliance. Inspired by elastic mechanisms in human locomotion, hip stiffness and damping were incorporated in the proposed flexible passive walker. Different from traditional impactmomentum method, one unified set of continuous dynamics based on continuous force method was developed to describe the entire passive walking gait on compliant ground, including the real double support phase. Through numerical simulations, stable period-one gait and double support phase were gained. After investigating the effects of contact parameters on step length, period and velocity, it was found that larger contact stiffness and smaller contact damping lead to a higher step velocity gait. The adjustment of hip stiffness could be used to improve the versatility of the flexible walker on varying compliant grounds.

We have previously characterized AprESJ4, the major fibrinolytic enzyme from Bacillus subtilis SJ4 (Yao et al., 2019). During that study, we observed a 68 kDa protein with fibrinolytic activity. In this study, we cloned the gene (vprSJ4) encoding the 68 kDa protein, a mature Vpr and minor protease secreted by Bacillus species. vprSJ4 encodes a preproenzyme consisting of 810 amino acids (aa) including signal sequence (28 aa) and prosequence (132 aa). The mature enzyme (650 aa) has a predicted molecular weight of 68,467.35. Unlike Vprs from other B. subtilis strains, VprSJ4 has 4 additional amino acids (DEFA) at the C-terminus. vprSJ4 was overexpressed in Escherichia coli. PreproVprSJ4 was localized in inclusion bodies, and subjected to in vitro renaturation and purification by an affinity column. SDS-PAGE and western blot showed that autoprocessing of preproVprSJ4 occurred and 68 kDa and smaller proteins were produced. The optimum pH and temperature of the recombinant VprSJ4 were pH 7.0 and 40℃, respectively. Kinetic parameters of recombinant VprSJ4 were measured by using an artificial substrate, N-succinyl-ala-ala-pro-phe-p-nitroanilide. Coexpression of vprSJ4 and aprESJ4 using pHY300PLK increased the fibrinolytic activity a further 117% when compared with aprESJ4 single expression using the same vector in B. subtilis WB600.
