• Dosimetric Verification for Primary Focal Hypermetabolism of Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Patients Treated with Dynamic Intensity-modulated Radiation Therapy

        Xin, Yong,Wang, Jia-Yang,Li, Liang,Tang, Tian-You,Liu, Gui-Hong,Wang, Jian-She,Xu, Yu-Mei,Chen, Yong,Zhang, Long-Zhen Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2012 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.13 No.3

Objective: To make sure the feasibility with $^{18F}FDG$ PET/CT to guided dynamic intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) for nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients, by dosimetric verification before treatment. Methods: Chose 11 patients in III~IVA nasopharyngeal carcinoma treated with functional image-guided IMRT and absolute and relative dosimetric verification by Varian 23EX LA, ionization chamber, 2DICA of I'mRT Matrixx and IBA detachable phantom. Drawing outline and making treatment plan were by different imaging techniques (CT and $^{18F}FDG$ PET/CT). The dose distributions of the various regional were realized by SMART. Results: The absolute mean errors of interest area were $2.39%{\pm}0.66$ using 0.6cc ice chamber. Results using DTA method, the average relative dose measurements within our protocol (3%, 3 mm) were 87.64% at 300 MU/min in all filed. Conclusions: Dosimetric verification before IMRT is obligatory and necessary. Ionization chamber and 2DICA of I'mRT Matrixx was the effective dosimetric verification tool for primary focal hyper metabolism in functional image-guided dynamic IMRT for nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Our preliminary evidence indicates that functional image-guided dynamic IMRT is feasible.

      • Slide Session : OS-GAS-18 ; Gastroenterology : Bahd1: A Gatekeeper to Protect Us from Inflamma-tion-Associated Colon Disease?

( Huatuo Zhu ),( Xinyong Wan ),( Wenguo Chen ),( Chaohui Yu ),( Min Yue ),( Yining Dai ),( Lihua Chen ) 대한내과학회 2014 대한내과학회 추계학술대회 Vol.2014 No.1

Background: It was recently reported that epigenetics might play an essential role in IBD. Bromo adjacent homology domain 1 (BAHD1), which involved in category of epigenetics maintains homeostasis by promoting heterochromatin formation. Our study aimed to investigate the underlying mechanism of BAHD1 in gut inflammation including IBD, seeking a new therapeutic target for the inflammation-associated colon disease. Methods: Experimental colitis was induced in C57BL/6 mice by dextran sulfate sodium administration. To simulate the intestinal inflammation microenvironment for epithelial cells, Caco-2 cells were exposed to a mixture of LPS, TNF-a, IL-1ß, and IFN-. BAHD1 expression was detected by quantitative PCR(qPCR), western blot and immunohistochemistry in both UC patients and mice model. Small interfering RNA was used to knock down BAHD1 level(siBAHD1) in Caco-2 cells and associated cytokines(CKs) expression were detected by either qPCR or ELISA. Possible mechanism involving in- flammatory pathways activation were addressed by western blot. Results: Murine model of UC-like inflammation was successfully established. And we found that BAHD1 existed in the normal internal crypt and surface epithelial cells ubiquitously. Compared with control group, BAHD1 expression in colon tissue were significantly decreased in both UC patients and mice model. In the vitro model system, we found that the protein level of BAHD1 was decreased in the stimulated Caco-2 cells. In addition, consistent with mRNA level of associated CKs enhanced in the siBAHD1 group within stimulatory factors, the interference group secreted more IL-6 and MCP-1 contents in the culture supernatant. As for potential mechanisms of BAHD1 in colitis, increased expression of TNFR1 was found in Caco-2 cells pre-treated with siBAHD1 in gut inflammation model, accompanying with the activation of IKK/ NF-κB and JNK/AP-1 pathways. Conclusions: Collectively, those findings provide evidence that BAHD1 might act as an indispensable safeguard to keep intestine immunological homeostasis.

Arylazolyl(azinyl)thioacetanilide. Part 9#: Synthesis and Biological Investigation of Thiazolylthioacetamides Derivatives as a Novel Class of Potential Antiviral Agents

        Peng Zhan,Xinyong Liu,Liu Wang,Hong Liu,Xuwang Chen,Xiao Li,Xin Jiang,Qiangqiang Zhang,Christophe Pannecouque,Lieve Naesens,Erik De Clercq,Ailin Liu,Guanhua Du 대한약학회 2012 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.35 No.6

In continuation of our endeavor to develop new, potent, selective and less toxic antiviral agents, a novel series of 2-(2-amino/chloro-4-(2,4-dibromophenyl) thiazol-5-ylthio)acetamide derivatives was synthesized via an expeditious route and evaluated for their anti-HIV activities against wild-type virus and clinically relevant mutant strains, and for their anti-influenza virus activities against influenza A (H1N1 and H3N2) and influenza B in cellular assays. The selected active compounds were also assayed for their enzymic inhibitory activities. The results showed that some 2-chloro substituted thiazolylthioacetamide derivatives possessed potent activity against wild type HIV-1 and several key mutant strains (E138K, K103N, L100I) of HIV-1 in MT-4 cells with EC50 values in micromolar range. Two 2-amino substituted thiazole derivatives 8a7 and 8a8 displayed significant potency against influenza A/H1N1 in MDCK cells with EC50 values much lower than that of oseltamivir carboxylate, ribavirin, amantadine and rimantadine. Though the mechanism of actions is still unclear, these novel thiazolylthioacetamides might serve as original leads for further pharmacological investigations as potential therapeutic agents against HIV-1 or influenza virus.

Simultaneous measurement of bending and temperature based on a single sampled chirped fiber Bragg grating embedded on a flexible cantilever beam.

        Han, Young-Geun,Dong, Xinyong,Lee, J H,Lee, S B Optical Society of America 2006 Optics letters Vol.31 No.19

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a simple and practical scheme for simultaneous measurement of bending and temperature based on a single sampled chirped fiber Bragg grating with multiple resonant peaks, which is embedded on a flexible cantilever beam. The wavelength spacing of the grating can be changed by adjusting the bending curvature change, since the compressive strain gradient induced by the bending of the cantilever beam changes the chirp ratio of the fiber grating. However, the wavelength spacing of the fiber grating is not changed by the temperature variation; the multiple resonant wavelengths are only shifted into the longer wavelength because of the positive thermal-expansion and thermo-optic coefficients of the fiber grating. Consequently, the proposed scheme allows for discrimination between two effects of bending and temperature.

An optimal method for improving volumetric error compensation in machine tools based on squareness error identification

Xuemin Zhong,Hongqi Liu,Xinyong Mao,Bin Li 한국정밀공학회 2019 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.20 No.10

This paper proposes a new method to identify the squareness errors of machine tools and gives an optimal method to improve the volumetric compensation accuracy based on the identified squareness errors. The volumetric error model based on screw theory is proposed and the effects of the squareness errors on the volumetric errors have been analyzed to clarify the possibility of improving volumetric error compensation by proper and accurate squareness errors. Then the identification method of the squareness errors is deduced in theory considering a 3-axis horizontal machine tool. With the identified squareness errors, an optimal method to improve volumetric error compensation in machine tools has been proposed. Experiments have verified that the 3 identified squareness errors are in accordance with the measured squareness errors within the accuracy range. Moreover, compared with the traditional measurement of squareness errors not considering the PDGEs, the proposed method is more effective and shows error compensation improvement in the volumetric error compensation process.

      • An Improved Model of General Data Publish/Subscribe Based on Data Distribution Service

Shufen Liu,Xuejun Ma,Xinyong Wang 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Database Theory and Appli Vol.9 No.11

Most existing data publish/subscribe systems applied in a particular field, the lack of generality. In order to satisfy the general support for interdisciplinary model, proposed an improved model of general data publish/subscribe. The model supports the configuration and modification of the underlying data types. In order to avoid the impact on the application layer while changing the underlying DDS product, proposed an encapsulation on DDS based on the abstract factory pattern. Finally, through simulation experiments to verify the feasibility of the proposed model, the simulation results show that the improved model can be well applied to various types of data publish/subscribe occasions, with high performance.

Adsorption performance of SO2 over ZnAl2O4 nanospheres

        Ling Zhao,Sining Bi,Jiasi Pei,Xinyong Li,Ruihong Yu,Ji Zhao,Christopher J. Martyniuk 한국공업화학회 2016 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.41 No.-

A type of uniform ZnAl2O4 nanospheres was selectively synthesized via a facile solvothermalmethod andtheir size was controlled to be 320–450 nm in diameter. It exhibits excellent SO2 adsorption capacity. Both physical structure and surface basicity were determined to play important roles in SO2 adsorptionprocess. In situ FTIR investigation revealed that adsorbed SO2 molecules formed surface bisulfite, sulfite, and bidentate binuclear sulfate. The CO2-TPD results revealed the SO2 adsorption capacity of thecatalysts correlated closely with their basicity sites. The mechanisms for SO2 adsorption andtransformation have been discussed in detail.
