        고속 MPEG-2-H.264/AVC 변환부호화를 위한 화면내 MB 예측 모드 결정 기법

        본 논문에서는 MPEG-2-H.264/AVC 변환 부호기에서 병목현상을 야기하는 H.264/AVC 부분의 화면내 부호기의 연산량을 감축하는 기법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 MPEG-2 복호기에서 획득한 DCT 계수와 영상의 방향성, H.264/AVC 화면내 부호기의 Intra16x16 및 Intra4x4 모드들 간의 상관관계 및 휘도와 색차 신호간의 경계(edge) 특성의 상관성을 활용하여 모드 선정시에 연산량을 감축하는 기법을 제안한다. 모의 실험을 통해 제안 방식이 기존에 널리 사용되는 결합형 변환 부호기에 비해 최대 약 70%의 연산량을 감축할 수 있음을 보였고, 대표적인 연산량 감축 기법인 [5]의 기법에 비해 최대 40%의 연산량을 감축할 수 있음을 보였다.

      • Domain Knowledge Actively Recommendation System Based by Process-Driven and Rough Set

        Recommend knowledge to staff who need in the work can improve work efficiency, knowledge application and innovation. Enterprise knowledge is described in three dimensions: knowledge attribute, process and domain. Based on this, domain knowledge actively recommendation architecture based by process-driven and rough set is construct, while domain knowledge and rough set active recommendation method is proposed. We will use this architecture to analyze employee, domain, and process. Then will using rough set to analyze the rules from logs of using knowledge. Combination with requirement of employees, process data and the rules to achieve recommend the accurate knowledge.

        Effect of Interstitial Solutes on Precipitation Behavior of 9-12% Chromium Ferritic Steels

        Effects of nitrogen and carbon content on precipitation behavior in two 9-12% Cr ferritic heat-resistant steels during isothermal transformation were investigated. Isothermal aging treatments at 700 °C after solution annealing were carried out for the different periods up to over 220 h. Microstructure characterization was performed by many characterization methods, such as physicochemical phase analysis, X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope etc. It was found that Cr-rich M2N nitride was formed as the main precipitate in the alloy A with content of 0.15% N and 0.03% C in wt%, together with some Cr-rich M23C6 carbide and Nb-rich MN nitride. Comparatively, the aged alloy B with 0.05% N and 0.11% C, predominantly contains Cr-rich M23C6 carbides. Besides, both alloys showed the similar microstructure evolution process: The precipitates were found to be formed initially along prior austenite grain boundaries, then grew toward interior of grain in the form of cell with the increasing aging time. Meanwhile, the cell growth feature was also discussed based on the experimental observation in well-controlled specimens.

        Effects of Hydrogen Peroxide Accumulation, Lipid Peroxidation, and Polyphenol Oxidation during Superficial Scald Development in ‘Fuji’ Apples

        Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and malondialdehyde (MDA) levels and polyphenol oxidase (PPO) activity weremeasured in ‘Fuji’ apples with different susceptibilities to the development of superficial scald during storage at 0and 20°C. Both scald incidence and severity increased gradually in the cold and the symptoms became apparent inthe fruits with an early, middle, and late harvest after 12, 15, and 21 weeks storage, respectively. Early harvestfruits had the highest scald incidence and severity as well as H2O2 and MDA contents, while late harvest had thelowest. The H2O2 and MDA levels increased, while PPO activity remained constant during storage at 0°C. All fruitsshowed a rapid increase in scald incidence and severity after warming, especially at the first 4 days, when H2O2 andMDA levels and PPO activities also increased. The H2O2 and MDA levels in scald-free tissues in late harvest fruitswere lower initially but became higher in the scald tissues after warming for 4 days. The PPO activities were equalin both tissues. These results indicated that mature fruits were relatively resistant to scald, and that scald symptomdevelopment was highly dependent on the accumulations of H2O2 and MDA during cold storage, but PPO activitywas less important.

        Drivers’ Diversion from Expressway under Real Traffic Condition Information Shown on Variable Message Signs

        To alleviate the traffic congestion on urban expressway, Variable Message Signs (VMS) have been widely employed for diverting some traffic to arterial streets in large cities. The diversion rate is a key parameter to design, operation and evaluation of the VMS. Many works have been done to study the diversion rate by stated preference survey. However, no consistent conclusion has been obtained on the key factors influencing diversion behavior. Therefore, this paper pays attention to analyzing the drivers’ diversion from expressway behavior under different network and traffic conditions, and finding the key factors influencing diversion behavior by using stated preference survey. In the survey, graphical traffic information is provided as scenario simulation. Ordinal regression method is adopted to explore the key factors influencing diversion willingness. Binary logit model is used to explore the divert decision with given traffic information. It is shown that driving years, income, driving style, average trip length, and degree of trust in VMS are the significant factors to diversion willingness. Furthermore, the same VMS displaying state results in different diversion flow at different sites. Those findings are the foundation to optimize traffic information releasing strategy and improve the road network efficiency.

Since the high quality digital TV systems are broadly deployed in the market, the digital video contents will be edited and distributed in MPEG-2 MP@HL format. Due to its impressive coding efficiency, the H.264/AVC codec has rapidly replaced the MPEG-4 SP codec for mobile digital video terminal with low quality. For the broad distribution of digitial video contents produced in MPEG-2 format, the MPEG-2 to H.264/AVC transcoding is highly necessary nowadays. In this paper, we propose a fast intra MB prediction mode decision method to reduce the computational complexity in the transcoding, which is the main bottleneck in the transcoders. The proposed method is based on the several relationships such as DCT coefficients and edge orientation, correlation between prediction directions in the Intra16x16 and Intra4x4 modes, correlation between edge-orientations of luminance and chrominance components. The simulation results show that the proposed method can reduce the computational complexity upto 70% and 40%, compared with the cascaded transcoder and the well-known fast intraframe transc oder, respectively.

        Constitutive model for ratcheting behavior of Z2CND18.12N austenitic stainless steel under non-symmetric cyclic stress based on BP neural network

        The specimens made by Z2CND18.12N austenitic stainless steel were conducted on a 100 kN closed loop servo hydraulic tension-compression testing machine with a digital controller. Uniaxial tension and uniaxial ratcheting effect tests were carried out at 25°C. Moreover, Uniaxial tension tests were conducted at 150°C, 250°C and 350°C. Based on these experimental data, the prediction models of stress-strain curve and the relationship of ratcheting strain and number of cycles were established by the algorithm principle of BP neural network. The results indicated that the predicted results of neural network model were in well agreement with experimental data. It was found that the BP neural network model had high validity and accuracy.

        Output and Real Exchange Rate in Developing Countries: Evidence from China

        Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to analyze the relationship between the real exchange rate and the output, which is based on the macroeconomic equilibrium theory in China. Its aim will be to verify whether the change in the real exchange rate has a significant effect on the output or not. Research design, data, and methodology - This study endeavors triestoinvestigatethecorrelationamongeconomicvariablesunder the macroeconomic market (the commodity market and the money market) equilibrium. So, time-series data from 1990 to 2016 is applied to establish a vector auto-regression (VAR) model so as to perform an empirical analysis. Results - The empirical results reveal that an increase in the real exchange rate will result in an increase in the output in the short run. However, the empirical results also indicate that this kind of mechanism cannot work in the long run. Conclusions - The effect of a decrease of real exchange rate on output is significant in the short run. Also, this paper suggests that the total supply and the total demand can promote economic growth. The fiscal and money policy play a significant role in economic growth in China as well.

        Hybrid No-Reference Video Quality Assessment Focusing on Codec Effects

        Currently, the development of multimedia communication has progressed so rapidly that the video program service has become a requirement for ordinary customers. The quality of experience (QoE) for the visual signal is of the fundamental importance for numerous image and video processing applications, where the goal of video quality assessment (VQA) is to automatically measure the quality of the visual signal in agreement with the human judgment of the video quality. Considering the codec effect to the video quality, in this paper an efficient non-reference (NR) VQA algorithm is proposed which estimates the video quality (VQ) only by utilizing the distorted video signal at the destination. The VQA feature vectors (FVs) which have high relationships with the subjective quality of the distorted video are investigated, and a hybrid NR VQA (HNRVQA) function is established by considering the multiple FVs. The simulation results, testing on the SDTV programming provided by VCEG Phase I, show that the proposed algorithm can represent the VQ accurately, and it can be used to replace the subjective VQA to measure the quality of the video signal automatically at the destinations.
