Reducing the disturbance of parameter fluctuations to the system is very important to the robustness of stamping product quality. In this paper, a 6-sigma robust optimization design method based on residual error and radial basis interpolation is proposed to weaken the negative influence of parameter fluctuations. Not only the key controllable parameters but also the key noise parameters are considered by grey relational analysis (GRA) to screen the parameters that have an important influence on the stamping quality. In order to reflect the relationship between key parameters and forming quality more precisely, the polynomial response surface model is improved based on residual error and radial basis function (RBF), and solved by the multi-population co-evolutionary immune algorithm (MPCEIA). Moreover, the solution of deterministic optimization is designed with 6-sigma robust optimization to improve the robustness of the system to the parameter fluctuations. Finally, the method is applied to the design of a complex automobile cover part, proving its effectiveness and reliability.

To analyze the dynamic evolutions between the draft tube pressure pulsations and vortex ropes of a Francis turbine, the runaway transient process of a hydropower system is simulated by coupling a one-dimensional model of the water conveyance system and a three-dimensional model of the Francis turbine. The results show that the annular-distributed pressure pattern at the entrance of the draft tube breaks and induces small vortex ropes, which then merge into an eccentric-distributed helical one with the transient operating point moving away from the rating region. In this process, low frequency pressure pulsations form and continue to strengthen. When the operating point moves to the runaway point, the vortex ropes keep dividing and merging irregularly, causing random-like pressure pulsations.

In the process of analyzing scientific research ability on music, many problems present, including that indicators are not comprehensive enough, the model has much subjectivity, the evaluation results are not reliable or the value of quantity of indicators has errors. Thus, this paper proposes a grey relational analysis model of scientific research ability on music based on AHP. It selects out dominant indicators and recessive indicators to evaluate software features and hardware features. A multi-layer evaluation index system for scientific research ability on music is established. AHP is introduced to compute the weight of indicators. After standardization of indicators, a multi-scheme grey relational coefficient model and a grey relational degree model are established according to grey theory to evaluate the level of scientific research ability on music. Proved effective by the case study, this model can realize the evaluation of scientific research ability on music on the computer.
Early Supplier Involvement in New Product Development under Moral and Technological Uncertainty

Over the past few decades, technology firms involve their suppliers in the new product development process, aiming to achieve cost and time reduction and efficiency improvement. Successful early supplier involvement (ESI) can be beneficial for technology firms, while the moral and technological uncertainty of suppliers can negatively affect the outcomes of new product development (NPD) as well. In this context, we study a two-echelon supply chain composed of a material supplier providing specific components of the new product and a technology firm. A literature review in terms of ESI in NPD process, supplier uncertainty, and the incentive mechanism for supply chain collaboration is provided. We consider two types of suppliers, faithful supplier who exerts sufficient effort to develop the specific components to the quality required by the technology firm and unfaithful supplier who is reluctant to invest sufficient time, investment, and efforts to satisfy the quality requirement of the technology firm. In this paper, given the supplier’s moral and technological uncertainty, we provide a three-stage analytical model to explore how technology firms should make decisions about the supplier’s involvement level and the pricing strategy of the new product. The results show that the retail price and wholesale price of low-quality products increase with suppliers’ moral uncertainty. With high moral uncertainty of suppliers, the retail price and wholesale price of low-quality products increase with suppliers’ technological uncertainty; with low moral uncertainty of suppliers, the prices of low-quality products decrease with suppliers’ technological uncertainty. Furthermore, the involvement level decreases with suppliers’ moral uncertainty and technological uncertainty. We also examine the effects of two incentive mechanisms, including penalty contract and revenue sharing contract, on motivating the supplier to participate in new product development faithfully. The result shows that the penalty contract is more favorable to the technology firm than the revenue sharing contract.

Using color linear array CCD (Charge Coupled Device) to collect the information of image has an important meaning in the research of the machine vision processing. It now becomes the focus of study on CCD image acquisition using FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) to implement color linear array CCD-driven design. The image acquisition and processing of the rice color sorter as the research background in this paper, by using FPGA to achieve the color linear array CCD driven control, as well as simulated with Quartus II 8.0. In order to be able to extract the color linear array CCD output useful information of the color images, through study the RGB model and the HSI (Huge, Saturation, Intensity) model of color space model, the HSI space mode is selected as the color image processing space model, and design the suitable algorithm-FCM (Fuzzy C-Means) clustering algorithm in HSI space for color image segmentation, through a fuzzy Toolbox in MATLAB to accomplish the FCM algorithm, at the same time, through the simulation realized the FCM algorithm. The simulation shows that the algorithm can segment the image useful information well.

The burden of atrial fibrillation (AF) is projected to increase substantially over the next decade in parallel with the aging of the population. The increasing age, level of comorbidity, and polypharmacy will complicate the treatment of older adults with AF. For instance, advanced age and chronic kidney disease have been shown to increase the risk of both thromboembolism and bleeding in patients with AF. Frailty, recurrent falls and polypharmacy, while very common among elderly patients with AF, are often overlooked in the clinical decision making despite their significant interaction with oral anticoagulant (OAC) and profound impact on the patient's clinical outcomes. Such factors should be recognized, evaluated and considered in a comprehensive decision-making process. The introduction of non-vitamin K oral anticoagulants has radically changed the management of AF allowing for a more individualized selection of OAC. An understanding of the available data regarding the performance of each of the available OAC in a variety of at risk patient populations is paramount for the safe and effective management of this patient population. The aim of this review is to appraise the current evidence, point out the gaps in knowledge, and provide recommendations regarding stroke prevention in older adults with AF and comorbid conditions.
