        Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) Corporate / Consumer-CSR Activities and Brand Attitude

        본 연구는 삼성, 현대자동차, LG전자 등 중국 시장에서 기업 환경변화를 주도하고 있는 한국기업에 대한 연구와 고찰을 통해 CSR 활동과 적합성, 기업의 평판, 기업의 신뢰도, 소비자들의 태도 간의 상관관계를 분석하고 있다. 최근 기업의 사회적 책임을 중요시하는 움직임이 갈수록 활발해지고 있으며, 특히 해외에서의 CRS 활동은 더욱 강조되고 있는 추세다. 하지만 여전히 이에 대한 깊이 있는 연구 성과는 아직 미흡한 것이 현실이다. 본 연구는 필드 샘플링, 네트워크 샘플링, 단계별 샘플링 추출, 설문지조사 등 다양한 방법들을 결합시켜 연구를 진행하였다. 필드 샘플링은 주로 한국의 경상도 지역과 중국의 창사(長沙), 선양(沈陽) 등의 지역에서 이루어졌으며, 네트워크를 통한 설문지 샘플링 조사는 베이징(北京), 홍콩, 다렌(大連), 창춘(長春), 창사(長沙), 우한(武漢)에서 진행하였으며, 현지조사는 주로 원 투 원 방식을 취했는데 주요 내용은 CSR 활동 사례, CSR에 대한 전반적 질문, 규모측정, 인구통계학적 문제로 구성되었다. 본 논문은 다음과 같은 6가지의 가설을 설정하고 연구를 진행하였는데 설문조사와 통계분석을 통해 다음과 같은 결론과 시사점을 도출하였다. 첫째, CSR 활동 중 사회 경제적 책임감과 환경보호 요소 변수는 기업의 CSR 적합성에 대해 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 적합성 변수 중 기업과 CSR 활동 간 적합성 변수는 기업의 신뢰도에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 기업 신뢰도 변수는 소비자의 모든 태도 변수 즉 인지적 태도, 감정적 태도, 행위적 태도를 포함한 태도 변수에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 기업 평판에도 긍정적 효과로 작용한다. 넷째, 삼성과 기타 중국 진출 대기업들은 CSR 활동과 기업의 CSR 적합성, 기업 신뢰도, 기업 평판, 브랜드 태도 간의 상호관계 면에서 차이점을 보이고 있다는 결론을 도출해 내었다.

      • New Results on Stability Analysis of Markovian Switching Singular Systems

        <P>This paper addresses the stability problem for linear continuous-time Markovian switching singular systems. Considering the inherent state jump behavior at the switching instants, a necessary and sufficient condition of exponential stability in the mean square sense for the Markovian switching singular system is established in terms of linear matrix inequalities by means of a stochastic Lyapunov approach. Based on the obtained stability result, sufficient conditions of exponential stability in the mean square sense for the Markovian switching singular system with uncertain and partly unknown transition probability are presented. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.</P>

      • Event-triggered <sub> H ∞ </sub> filtering of discrete-time switched linear systems

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>In this paper, the event-triggered <SUB> H ∞ </SUB> filtering problem for discrete-time switched linear systems is addressed. The filter and the system are connected via a communication network, and the transmitted information of system output and switching signal is determined by an event-triggered transmission scheme, which contains system mode dependent parameters. Consequently, the asynchronous switching between the filter and the system occurs, and the filtering error system is modeled as a switched system with augmented switching signal by using the merging switching signal technique. Then, by the multiple Lyapunov function method, a new sufficient condition is obtained such that the filtering error system is exponentially asymptotically stable and satisfies the weighted <SUB> H ∞ </SUB> performance. Finally, the design method for the filter and event-triggered parameters is proposed by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities.         Coloration and Decoloration of Textiles Using a TiO2 Composite Pigment

        A colorable pigment was prepared by dye adsorption onto titanium dioxide and subsequent silane coating. The effects of pH value, dye concentration, and adsorption times on dye adsorption were discussed. Large adsorption capacity of an anionic dye was obtained at pH value of 2 and the adsorption process was well described by the Langmuir isotherm model. Good dyeability and color fastness of pigment dyed fabric were achieved in the normal life cycle under sunlight. The decoloration of pigment was realized through photocatalytic degradation of dye molecules by titanium dioxide under ultraviolet irradiation when reusing the pigment dyed textiles after disposal. The new absorption peaks in the FTIR spectrum at 2924.95 cm-1, 1714.91 cm-1, 1461.17 cm-1, and 1289 cm-1 verified silane modification. Silane modification improved fixation of dyes onto the pigment and immobilization of pigments onto substrates. The close attachment of silane coating layer to titanium dioxide was conducive to photodegradation of dye molecules in the pigment.

        Properties of a Bacteriocin Produced by Bacillus subtilis EMD4 Isolated from Ganjang (Soy Sauce)

        A Bacillus species, EMD4, with strong antibacterial activity was isolated from ganjang (soy sauce) and identified as B. subtilis. B. subtilis EMD4 strongly inhibited the growth of B. cereus ATCC14579 and B. thuringiensis ATCC33679. The antibacterial activity was stable at pH 3-9 but inactive at pH 10 and above. The activity was fully retained after 15 min at 80°C but reduced by 50% after 15 min at 90°C. The activity was completely destroyed by proteinase K and protease treatment, indicating its proteinaceous nature. The bacteriocin (BacEMD4) was partially purified from culture supernatant by ammonium sulfate precipitation, and QSepharose and Sephadex G-50 column chromatographies. The specific activity was increased from 769.2 AU/mg protein to 8,347.8 AU/mg protein and the final yield was 12.6%. The size of BacEMD4 was determined to be 3.5 kDa by Tricine SDS-PAGE. The N-terminal amino acid sequence was similar with that of Subtilosin A. Nucleotide sequencing of the cloned gene confirmed that BacEMD4 was Subtilosin A. BacEMD4 showed bactericidal activity against B. cereus ATCC14579.

        Stabilization of switched linear singular systems with state reset

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>This paper investigates the stability and stabilization of switched linear singular systems with state reset at switching instants. Based on the dynamics decomposition of singular subsystems, a sufficient stability condition for the system with the given state reset is obtained. Then, the stabilization problem by state reset is investigated and an algorithm for computing the reset matrices is presented. The obtained results extend some previous works on both singular switched systems and reset control for normal switched systems. Finally, a numerical example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.</P>

        Characteristics and Impact Factors of Renal Threshold for Glucose Excretion in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

        Sodium glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT-2) inhibitors are newly developed but promising medicine for type 2 diabetes. However, patients with a different renal threshold for glucose excretion (RTG) may have a different reaction to this medicine. Therefore, the objective of this study was to investigate the characteristics of RTG and its impact factors in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). The clinical and laboratory data of 36 healthy individuals and 168 in-hospital patients with T2DM were collected and analyzed, RTG was calculated using blood glucose (BG) measured by dynamic BG monitoring, urinary glucose excretion (UGE) and estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR). The characteristics of RTG were investigated. The risk factors for high RTG were analyzed using non-conditional logistic regression analysis. Our results found that RTG of the T2DM group was higher than that of the healthy individuals (P < 0.05); and 22.22% from the healthy individuals group but 58.33% from the T2DM group had high RTG. Age, duration of diabetes, body mass index (BMI), and homeostasis model assessment insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) were independently associated with high RTG (P < 0.05). Further stratified analysis revealed that RTG in T2DM patients increased with age, duration of diabetes, and BMI. In conclusion, RTG is increased in patients with T2DM, especially in those with longer diabetic duration, higher BMI, and those who are older. Therefore, these patients may be more sensitive to SGLT-2 inhibitors.

        Event-triggered control of discrete-time switched linear systems with packet losses

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>The event-triggered control problem for discrete-time switched linear systems with packet losses is addressed in this paper. It is assumed that, at each event-triggered instant transmitted successfully, the controller can only access the transmitted information of system state and mode. In both cases of packet losses and no packet losses, mode dependent event-triggered transmission schemes are proposed. And the closed-loop system is modeled as a switched system with augmented switching signal. Then, based on the multiple Lyapunov function method, in the case of packet losses, exponential stability conditions are given with constraint of the maximum allowable number of successive packet losses, and design methods for state feedback controller gains and mode dependent event-triggered parameters are obtained. Finally, the effectiveness and improvement of the proposed approach are illustrated by a numerical example.</P>
