Low-temperature carbonization–sulfonation two-step process or one-step sulfonation process wasemployed to draft sodium lignosulfonate (SLS), the primary biological macromolecule ingredient ofpapermaking black liquor, into lignin-based sulfonated carbon. The two-step lignin-based sulfonated carbonnamed SLC400,1S was found to be an efficient catalyst for clean Benzyl-alcohol (BA) route Friedel-Crafts (F-C) benzylation of benzene ring compounds. FT-IR, XRD, Raman spectra, XPS, SEM with EDXmapping,TGA-DSC, acid-base titration, and n-butylamine–acetonitrile titration characterizations demonstratedthat the specific two-step process could introduce porous properties and a large number of surfacesulfonic, hydroxyl, and carboxyl active groups into the structure of the prepared material, which wasfound to account for the good catalytic performance for benzylation. Similar to that of hierarchical mesoporousZSM-5 under optimal conditions, the apparent activation energy for benzylation of paraxylene(PX) with BA over SLC400,1S was estimated to be 119 kJmol1. The common by-product of BA route benzylation,dibenzyl ether (DBE), was almost inhibited because of the extraordinary activity of SLC400,1S andthe optimized reaction conditions. A 12-run recycling test demonstrated easy recovery and steadyreusability of the above lignin-based sulfonated carbon catalyst.

In this paper, we study a discrete Leslie-Gower one-predator two-prey model. By using the method of coincidence degree and some techniques, we obtain the existence of at least one positive periodic solution of the system. By linalization of the model at positive periodic solution and construction of Lyapunov function, sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure the global stability of the positive periodic solution. Effect of Cooling Rate on Magnetic Properties of FeCoNi(CuAl)0.8 High Entropy Alloy

The solidification process of an alloy has a significant influence on its microstructure and properties. In this article, the effect of cooling rate on the microstructure and magnetic properties of the FeCoNi(CuAl)0.8 high entropy alloys (HEAs) was investigated. Results showed that all the samples prepared at different cooling rates exhibited a duplex-phase structure of face-centered cubic (FCC) plus body-centered cubic (BCC). But the volume fraction of BCC and stacking density of the alloy increased with the increasing of cooling rate, leading to an increase in saturated magnetization. Furthermore, microstructure investigation showed that with the increasing of cooling rate, the grain size of the samples decreased, lattice distortion and residual stress increased, and more nanoprecipitates were embedded in the interdendritic phases of the sample, which may be responsible for the increase in coercivity of the alloy.

Structure engineering is an integrated strategy to regulate the performance of nanoparticles for variouscatalytic reactions, since the nanoparticle composition, shape, and interface affect the reaction activityand selectivity. Herein, we report a simple synthesis of clear core–shell structured Pd@Fe nanocubes withdifferent shell thicknesses, which exhibit higher H2 conversion efficiency in direct hydrogen peroxidegeneration compared with ordinary Pd cubes. This result can be attributed to two main reasons: (i)the conformal growth of the Fe oxide shell consisting of loose structured Fe3O4 favors H2 penetration,and (ii) the capping agent (Br) on the Pd–Fe3O4 interface that blocks the Pd active sites is removed duringthe shell formation. Therefore, the Fe oxide shell of the Pd@Fe nanoparticles not only helps maintainingthe morphology of the nanoparticles but also increases the number of active sites on the inner coresurface, confirming the advantage of the core–shell structure.

The integrated production manufacturing system based on cyber-physical system (CPS) is a complex production system that integrates perception, calculation, and control. Studying the multi-state reliability of integrated production manufacturing system based on CPS has the certain theory and practical significance. This paper presented a novel T-S fuzzy fault tree hybrid method to analyse its failure risk and reliability. Firstly, the fuzzy set theory was used to determine the state probability of the bottom event. Then the state probability and fuzzy possibility of the system were determined according to the state probability and actual state of the bottom event, respectively. Finally, the weak reliability links under different failure states of the system were determined according to the importance and sensitivity analysis. The application case analysis shows that the presented method is consistent with the field situation and can provide reference for failure risk and reliability analysis in integrated production manufacturing system based on CPS.
