      • Evaluation of torsional response of a long-span suspension bridge under railway traffic and typhoons based on SHM data

        Long-span cable-supported bridges are flexible structures vulnerable to unsymmetric loadings such as railway traffic and strong wind. The torsional dynamic response of long-span cable-supported bridges under running trains and/or strong winds may deform the railway track laid on the bridge deck and affect the running safety of trains and the comfort of passengers, and even lead the bridge to collapse. Therefore, it is eager to figure out the torsional dynamic response of long-span cable-supported bridges under running trains and/or strong winds. The Tsing Ma Bridge (TMB) in Hong Kong is a suspension bridge with a main span of 1,377 m, and is currently the world's longest suspension bridge carrying both road and rail traffic. Moreover, this bridge is located in one of the most active typhoon-prone regions in the world. A wind and structural health monitoring system (WASHMS) was installed on the TMB in 1997, and after 17 years of successful operation it is still working well as desired. Making use of one-year monitoring data acquired by the WASHMS, the torsional dynamic responses of the bridge deck under rail traffic and strong winds are analyzed. The monitoring results demonstrate that the differences of vertical displacement at the opposite edges and the corresponding rotations of the bridge deck are less than 60 mm and $0.1^{\circ}$ respectively under weak winds, and less than 300 mm and $0.6^{\circ}$ respectively under typhoons, implying that the torsional dynamic response of the bridge deck under rail traffic and wind loading is not significant due to the rational design.

        최근 차량용 IT 기술이 발달함에 따라 네비게이션, 위치추적, 인터넷 접수, 원격 차량진단, 사고감지, 긴급구난, 교통정보 등을 제공하는 서비스들이 등장하고 있다. 또한 차량의 편의성과 안정성을 추구함과 동시에 친환경 등에 대한 요구도 증가하고 있다. 그리고 최근차량 상호간 정보의 교환이 더욱 필요해짐에 따라 차량간의 무선 통신 기능이 중요해지고 있으며 차량 내의 네트워크 기술에 대한 연구도 필요하다. 현재 차량 내 네트워크로는 CAN, LIN, MOST등의 유선으로 된 버스 시스템을 중심으로 한 차량 제어 시스템과 멀티미디어 시스템으로 크게 구분할 수 있다. 그러나 자동차 내에 장치 배선이 복잡해짐에 따라 차량의 무게 증가, 고장율의 증가, 연비 저하 등으로 이어지고 있다. 이러한 문제를 보완하기 위해 차량 내에 무선 센서 네트워크 시스템과의 통합 개발이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 빠르게 발전하고 있는 차량 내 네트워크에 대한 기술개발 동향을 분석하고, 유무선 통합형 차량 내 네트워크 응용 서비스들을 제시하고자 한다.

        An Improved Privacy Preserving Construction for Data Integrity Verification in Cloud Storage

        The increasing demand in promoting cloud computing in either business or other areas requires more security of a cloud storage system. Traditional cloud storage systems fail to protect data integrity information (DII), when the interactive messages between the client and the data storage server are sniffed. To protect DII and support public verifiability, we propose a data integrity verification scheme by deploying a designated confirmer signature DCS as a building block. The DCS scheme strikes the balance between public verifiable signatures and zero-knowledge proofs which can address disputes between the cloud storage server and any user, whoever acting as a malicious player during the two-round verification. In addition, our verification scheme remains blockless and stateless, which is important in conducting a secure and efficient cryptosystem. We perform security analysis and performance evaluation on our scheme, and compared with the existing schemes, the results show that our scheme is more secure and efficient.

        Dynamic analysis of coupled train - ladder track - elevated bridge system

        As a new type of vibration reduction, the ladder track system has been successfully used in engineering. In this paper, a numerical model of the train-track-viaduct system is established to study the dynamic responses of an elevated bridge with ladder track. The system is composed of a vehicle submodel, a track submodel and a bridge submodel, with the measured track irregularities as the system self-excitation. The whole time histories of a train running through an elevated bridge with $3{\times}27m$ continuous PC box girders are simulated. The dynamic responses of the bridge such as deflections, lateral and vertical accelerations, and the vehicle responses such as derailment factors, offload factors and car-body accelerations are calculated. The calculated results are partly validated through the comparison with the experimental data. Compared to the common slab track, adapting the ladder sleeper can effectively reduce the accelerations of the bridge girder, and also reduce the car-body accelerations and offload factors of the train vehicle.

        Dynamic analysis of high-speed railway train-bridge system after barge collision

        In this paper, a framework is proposed for dynamic analysis of train-bridge systems with a damaged pier after barge collision. In simulating the barge-pier collision, the concrete pier is considered to be nonlinear-inelastic, and the barge-bow is modeled as elastic-plastic. The changes of dynamic properties and deformation of the damaged pier, and the additional unevenness of the track induced by the change of deck profile, are analyzed. The dynamic analysis model for train-bridge coupling system with a damaged pier is established. Based on the framework, an illustrative case study is carried out with a $5{\times}32m$ simply-supported PC box-girder bridge and the ICE3 high-speed train, to investigate the dynamic response of the bridge with a damaged pier after barge collision and its influence on the running safety of high-speed train. The results show that after collision by the barge, the vibration properties of the pier and the deck profile of bridge are changed, forming an additional unevenness of the track, by which the dynamic responses of the bridge and the car-body accelerations of the train are increased, and the running safety of high-speed train is affected.

        On the basis of specifications to improve our carbon emissions constraints mechanism, making the appropriate improvements of the traditional performance evaluation index system. Increase carbon constraints performance indicators: the amount of carbon emissions trading, Carbon assets net profit margin, carbon-income ratio, the ratio of carbon costs, carbon assets turnover, unit profit of carbon emissions, CO2 emissions of Yuan output value, in order to fully assess the financial performance and non-financial performance, enable the enterprise performance evaluation system better and more responsive to the requirements of sustainable development, and more convincing.

      • Computer vision-based displacement measurement with m-sequence target

        The development of image sensors enables the application of vision-based techniques to the non-contact displacement measurement of large-scale structures. The features of the physical targets are critical to the accuracy, stability and anti-interference of the displacement measurement results. In this study, a novel m-sequence target and the associated circular correlation processing technique are developed for real-time displacement measurement. The properties of the m-sequence as a pseudo-random sequence are introduced. The vision-based displacement calculation method is then derived from the correlation property of the m-sequence. The algorithms and measurement systems are integrated in the LabVIEW environment. To verify the anti-interference performance of the developed system, static and dynamic experimental tests are carried out with various forms of interference, such as partial occlusion, uneven illumination, out of focus and smoke effect. Experimental results indicate that the developed system cannot only accurately measure structural displacement, but also has outstanding antiinterference performance, even if 30% of the target is masked.

        Preparation and Characterization of Poly(lactic acid) Micro- and Nanofibers Fabricated by Centrifugal Spinning

        In this paper, poly(lactic acid) (PLA) micro- and nanofibers were successfully prepared by centrifugal spinningwhich is a more simple and effective approach to produce micro/nanofibers. The morphology of fibers was investigated usingscanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), while their thermal properties by differential scanningcalorimeter (DSC) and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). The results showed that the diameter of PLA fibers increasedsignificantly with increasing solution concentration and decreased slightly with increasing collection distance. It can becontrolled below 500 nm at the optimal process parameters which were found to be spinning solution concentration of 6 %,spinneret diameter of 0.11 mm, rotational speed of 5500 rpm and collecting distance of 15 cm. Although the crystallinity ofthe PLA fibers was weaker than that of the PLA pellets due to the insufficient adjustment of the molecular chain in rapidsolvent evaporation and short stretching time, it can be improved by increasing the rotational speed from 4500 to 7000 rpm. The glass transition temperature (Tg) and melting temperature (Tm) of the fibers were nearly keeping constant compared tothe PLA pellets. Its good degradability was demonstrated by the loss of fibers structure completely within 5 hours ofimmersion in NaOH at pH 13.
