        Outer loop unrolling that unrolls outer loops can improve the data locality of loop nest. In this paper, we estimated the change of data locality as unrolling factors increase and verified this estimated results from the experiments of matrix multiplication. This experiments consist of measuring execution time and data cache miss rates. In result, as unrolling factors increase, at first, execution time and miss rate reduce rapidly and this reduction decreases little by little. From this result, we can unroll outer loop 4-5 times maximally, to improve the data locality of loop nest. Also, this can reduce compile time for decision of unrolling factor in analysis of outer loop unrolling to improve data locality.

      • CdS 광도전막의 제조 및 그 응용

        The Polycrystallized CdS films have been fabricated at the substrate temperature above 200℃ by thermal evaporation method. When the CdS films were annealed at the temperature higher than 400℃, the dark resistivity was increased. From the photoconductive properties of CdS films under 50~1500uW/cm^(2) illumination, the maximum values of I_(p)/I_(d) ratio and photosensitivity were 60dB and 0.82, respectively. The optical properties of CdS films were measured by spectrometer, the optical band gap of CdS film was different with heat treatment, These results show that this evaporated CdS films are expected to be used as photoconductive cells or photoelectric sensors.

        HCV-Specific Interleukin-21+CD4+ T Cells Responses Associated with Viral Control through the Modulation of HCV-Specific CD8+ T Cells Function in Chronic Hepatitis C Patients

        Interleukin-21 (IL-21)+CD4+ T cells are involved in the immune response against hepatitis B virus (HBV) by secreting IL-21. However, the role of IL-21+CD4+ T cells in the immune response against chronic hepatitis C (CHC) virus infection is poorly understood. This study aimed to investigate the role of IL-21+CD4+ T cells in CHC patients and the potential mechanisms. The study subjects in-cluded nineteen CHC patients who were grouped by viral load (low, < 106 RNA copies/ml, n = 8; high, > 106 RNA copies/ml, n = 11). The peripheral frequency of HCV-specific IL-21+CD4+ T cells was higher in the low viral load group and was negatively correlated with the serum HCV RNA viral load in all CHC patients. Meanwhile, IL-21+ cells accumulated in the liver in the low viral load group. In vitro, IL-21 treatment increased the expression of proliferation markers and cytolytic molecules on HCV-specific CD8+ T cells. In summary, these findings suggest that HCV-specific IL-21+CD4+ T cells might contribute to HCV control by rescuing HCV-specific CD8+ T cells in CHC patients.

      • Homogenized 현탁중합에 의한 폴리메틸메타크릴레이트 고분자 입자의 제조 및 특성

        In this study, homogenized suspension polymerization of methyl methacrylate(MMA) using poly (vinyl- alcohol) (PVA) as suspension stabilizer and benzoyl peroxide(BPO) as initiator was carried out with various polymerization variables. Particle size, distribution, exothermic peak according to the polymerization condition were observed. Particle size of 5~80㎛ was prepared via homogenized suspension polymerization. Particle size was influenced by the concentration of suspension stabilizer and homogenizer speeds. The average particle diameter decreased with PVA concentration and homogenizer speeds, and increased with BPO concentration. Exothermic peak was also influenced by the stirring speed, concentration of suspension stabilizer and initiator.

      • Amis Aborigine Migrants’ Territorialization in Metropolitan Taipei

        This paper focuses on the relatively successful experience of territorialization by a group of aborigine migrants in metropolitan Taipei, northern Taiwan. The aborigine migrants of the Amis established a self-built community in a marginal site along the riverbank of northern Taipei that was constantly under the threat of floods and of eviction and forced relocation by the government. But eventually the settlers and the government came to an agreement regarding on-site relocation, and the municipal authority granted special land use rights to the settlers. Several historical processes help explain their success. First, the rising political discourse of Taiwan Independence in the past decade has provided the aborigine migrants with political legitimacy and support. Second, Taiwan’s social activism has been developing rapidly since the 1990s, as its electoral democracy takes shape and matures; the aborigine migrants’ rights to the city were an integral part of this social mobilization. Third, the reinforced identity and solidarity within the community in question helped form a coherent front at the moment of confrontation and negotiation with the government. Finally, a group of professional and progressive planners have been actively involved throughout the territorialization process, acting as planners, brokers and coordinators.

        Esculentoside A exerts anti-oxidative stress and anti-apoptotic effects in rat experimental membranous nephropathy by regulating MAPK pathway

        Background Membranous nephropathy is characterized by deposition of immune complex. The initial inflammatory responses induce cell apoptosis and oxidative injury, thus contributing to the pathogenesis of chronic kidney disease. Esculentoside A exerts anti-inflammatory, anti-apoptotic and anti-oxidant abilities, and protects against acute kidney injury. Objective The renoprotective effect of Esculentoside A on a rat model with membranous nephropathy was investigated in this study. Results Injection of cationic bovine serum albumin promoted the level of 24 h proteinuria, and induced histopathological damage, including glomerular atrophy and thick glomerular basement membrane in the kidney tissues. Intraperitoneal injection with Esculentoside A reduced the level of 24 h proteinuria, and attenuated the pathological damages. Esculentoside A attenuated cationic bovine serum albumin-induced reduction of Bcl-2 protein expression, enhancements in the protein expressions of Bax and cleaved caspase-3. Besides, the enhanced levels of MDA (malondialdehyde) and NO (nitric oxide), and reduced levels of SOD (superoxide dismutase) and GSH (glutathione), in rats with membranous nephropathy were restored by Esculentoside A injection. Moreover, Esculentoside A counteracted with the promotive effects of cationic bovine serum albumin on the protein expressions of phosphorylated JNK (p-JNK), p-ERK1/2 and p-p38. Conclusion The renoprotective effects of Esculentoside A on a rat model with membranous nephropathy was mediated by its anti-oxidant and anti-apoptotic effects through inactivation of MAPKs pathway.

      • Incidence and Mortality of Female Breast Cancer in Jiangsu, China

        Objectives: The aim of this study was to describe and analyze the incidence and mortality of female breast cancer in Jiangsu Province of China. Methods: Incidence and mortality data for female breast cancer and corresponding population statistics from eligible cancer registries in Jiangsu from 2006 to 2010 were collected and analyzed. Crude rates, age-specific rates and age-standardized rates of incidence and mortality were calculated, and annual present changes (APCs) were estimated to describe the time trends. Results: From 2006 to 2010, 11,013 new cases and 3,068 deaths of female breast cancer were identified in selected cancer registry areas of Jiangsu. The annual average crude incidence and age-standardized incidence by world population (ASW) were 25.2/ and 17.9/100,000 respectively. The annual average crude and ASW for mortality rates were 7.03/ and 4.81/100,000. The incidence was higher in urban areas than that in rural areas, and this was consistent in all age groups. No significant difference was observed in mortality between urban and rural areas. Two peaks were observed when looking at age-specific rates, one at 50-59 years and another at over 85 years. During the 5 years, incidence and mortality increased with APCs of 4.47% and 6.89%, respectively. Compared to the national level, Jiangsu is an area with relatively low risk of female breast cancer. Conclusion: Breast cancer has become a main public health problem among Chinese females. More prevention and control activities should be conducted to reduce the burden of this disease, even in relatively low risk areas like Jiangsu.

      • Performances of the Effervescent Atomizer for Water Mist Fire Extinguishing

        Based on the mechanism of effervescent atomization, a new effervescent atomization system of water mist was designed. In this system, the gas medium is carbon dioxide, which is soluble and can be used in fire suppression. High pressure saturated carbon dioxide-water solution flowed through the throttle orifice, carbon dioxide was bubbled, and the two-phase flow was formed in the mixing chamber of nozzle. At last, the water mist was formed downstream of the exit orifice of nozzle. In order to examine the feasibility of this system, data were collected, processed and analyzed with DUAL PDA. The velocity profile and drop-size distribution (D10, D32, Dv0.9) downstream of the effervescent atomizer were gained. The efficiency of fire suppression of this system were experimentally investigated by putting out the fire of industry alcohol and diesel oil. The experimental results showed that this water mist system is feasible for fire suppression.

        Analysis on Narrative Strategy of Korean War Films

        한국영화는 20세기 90년대 말부터 부흥하고 전쟁영화도 영하·드라마도 발전해 왔다. 그리고 자기의 독특한 서술 특정이 이루어진다. 〈군함도〉는 일본 식민통치 시대에 일본인이 조선 노동자를 강제로 징용해 잔혹하게 착취했던 실제 역사적 사건을 소재로 삼았다. 류승완 감독은 이 영화를 통해 그 비통하고 잘 알려지지 않은 역사를 재현했다. 한국전쟁영화는 발전 과정에서 독특한 특색이 이루어질 뿐만 아니라 한국 영화․드라마의 발전에 큰 영향을 준다. 〈군함도〉는 그 중에 대표적인 영화다. 방대한 서사적 주제, 섬세한 인물 묘사, 치밀한 줄거리 설정이 영화로 하여금 강렬한 감화력을 지니게 만든다. 본문은 서사주제, 줄거리, 인물 등 면에서 영화의 서사 전략을 분석하고 한국 전쟁 영화의 서사 특색을 검토할 것이다. Korean film industry rised at the end of 90s in 20th century and the war films thrives with the film industry and has formed an unique narrative style. The movie "The Battleship Island" was based on the real historical events during the Japanese colonial rule. The Japanese forced the requisition of North Korean laborers and rigorously squeezed. The director Seung-wan Ryoo reappeared the painful and little-known history through the film. Korean war movies have created distinct features of their own in the developing process and given a major push to Korean film industry, and the film The Battleship Island is an outstanding example. The grand narrative theme, exquisite character description, and compact plot setting make the film have a strong appeal. This paper will analyze the narrative strategy of the movie from angles of narrative subject, narrative plot, characterization and so on, and explore the narrative style of Korean war movies.
