      • 유해성물질의 인터넷 정보제공 시스템 구축에 관한 연구

        The World-Wide Web is a large scale Internet-based hypermedia information service system. The technology has been growing very rapidly in the Internet community, and now extensively being used in information delivery services. Database service systems can be best implemented by integrating the service capability of the Web and the data management facility of database systems in a complimentary fashion. On the basis of this integrated system, we have constructed network connections and installed essential software-DBMS, internet database access server, and browser, In DBMS all data are stored and manipulated by SQL program. We adopted the IDS middleware server to connect between server and client and to achieve higher performance and security, The databank for hazardous materials was designed and constructed by using SQL Server 6.5. To specify query forms we developed data entry programs which require flexible user interface and interactive function, The users in client used the Web browser to issue a request and entered inputs for querying a database. The search results by means of key word or key physical properites viewed good performance and information delivery. As a result of this study, we constructed internet information delivrly system and databank for hazardous materials.

      • 석이로부터 분리한 페놀성 화합물의 phospholipase A_2 저해활성

        호알카리성 진균 Cephalosporium sp. RYM-202가 생산하는 alkaline xylanase (CX-III)의 작용에 의해 xylan 기질로부터 생성되는 주요 가수분해 산물은 xylobiose와 중합도가 4 이상인 xylooligosaccharides이었다. 이 효소는 xylobiose에 대한 분해능을 가지고 있지 않지만 xylotriose로부터는 xylobiose를, xylotetraose로부터는 xylobiose와 xylotriose를 주산물로 형성하였다. 이러한 결과들은 CX-III가 transglycosidase 활성을 소유하는 전형적인 endo-type xylanase임을 보여준다. N-bromosuccinimide에 의한 CX-III의 화학적 변화 실험 결과 효소 1분자 당 2개의 tryptophan 잔기가 활성에 관여하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 iodoacetamide 및 diethylpyrocarbonate에 의한 효소활성의 저해효과는 나타나지 않음으로써 이 효소의 활성부위에 cysteine과 histidine 잔기가 필수적이지 않음이 확인되었다. The hydrolysis products formed from birchwood xylan by the action of an alkaline xylanase (CX-III) from alkalophilic Cephalosporium sp. RYM-202 were xylobiose and xylooligosaccharides polymerized with more than 4 sugar molecules. This enzyme was not active on xylobiose but readily attacked xylotriose accumulating xylobiose as a major product. The predominant end-products from xylotetraose by CX-III were xylobiose and xylotriose. These results indicate that the enzyme is typically endo-type xylanase possessing transglycosidase activity. Chemaical modification of CX-III with N-bromosuccinimide revealed that two tryptophan residues per molecule of CX-III were essential for its catalytic activity on xylan. On the other hand, iodoacetamide and diethylpyrocarbonate did not influence the activity of the enzyme, suggesting that cysteine and histidine residues are not involved in the active site of this alkaline xylanase.

      • 폐동맥종양색전증에 의한 돌연사 부검 1예

        This study is intended to recognize mental and physical health status of Nursing Junior Collegians. The sample data for the study have been collected applying C.M.I. from 462 collegians selected randomly at 4 nursing junior colleges in Taegu city and Kyungbuk province over a period of three months from September to November 1986. The data was treated by a computer (SPSS) using Mean, Standard Deviation, F Ratio, Chi-square test and Pearson's Correlation. The summary of the results in the study are as follows: 1) The relationship between general mental-physical health of Nursing students and places which they have grown up, showed to be not significant. 2) The relationship between mental(p < 0.01), physical (p < 0.05), general mental- physical health (p < 0.01) and living expense satisfaction showed to be significant. 3) In the relations to pride as a nurse, musculoskeletal system (p < 0.01), Fatigability(p < 0.05) Miscellaneous disease (p < 0.01), Inadequacy (p < 0.05), Depression (p < 0.001), Sensitivity(p < 0.01), Anger (p < 0.01), and Tension (p < 0.05) showed to be significant. 4) In the relation to anxiety on registered Nurses Examinication, The frequency of Respiratory (p < 0.05), Cardiovascular (p < 0.001), Digestive (p < 0.05), Musculoskeletal (p < 0.05), Nervous system(p < 0.05) and frequency illness (p < 0.05), Inadequacy (p < 0.05), Depression (p < 0.01), Anxiety (p < 0.05), Sensitivity (p < 0.05), Anger (p < 0.05) and Tension (p < 0.001) showed to be significant.

On the diagram of chemical potential of solution versus temperature, two paths were chosen each of which intersecting at the initial state and final state. The integration along two paths were set to equal giving quantitative relation between molality of solute and change in collegative property.

        Fe-17%Cr 페라이트계 나노사이즈-산화물 분산강화합금의 인장성질과 고온산화에 미치는 산화물종의 영향

        In order to develop mechanically alloyed nano-sized ferritic ODS alloys, we have investigated the effect of three kinds of oxide such as Y₂O₃, Al₂O₃ and TiO₂, on the high temperature tensile properties, high temperature oxidation behavior and corrosion resistance. Due to the most distribution of fine and spherical particles, ODS alloys containing Y₂O₃ raise yield strength and tensile strength at high temperatures considerably. The results of high temperature oxidation tests indicate that the ODS alloys containing Y₂O₃, Al₂O₃ and TiO₂ are resistant to oxidation between 823K and 1023K. The ODS alloy containing Y2O3 by attributed by to thermal safety of Y₂O₃ showed an ecellent characteristics in oxidation and corrosion.

        A 21-year-old male, complaining of dyspnea, expired. An autopsy was performed to clarify, the cause of death. A huge tan tumor mass, measuring 13 x I1 x 7cm, was present at the anterior mediastinum in close anatomic relationship with the thymus. Large vessels around the heart were compressed by the tumor mass and hemopericardium by extensive hemorrhagic necrosis of the tumor was noted. The tumor was diagnosed as choriocarcinoma by histopathologic and immunoperoxidase method using HCG. The cause of death was right heart failure due to compression of large vessels and hemopericardium.

      • Umbilicaria esculenta가 생산하는 Depside계 화합물의 구조 및 Phospholipase A₂ 저해활성

        Phospholipase A₂(PLA₂) is lipolytic enzyme that has known to be involved in inflammation. In the course of our screening for antiinflammatory compounds from natural products, a compound having PLA₂ inhibitory activities was isolated from the methanol extract of Umbilicaria esculenta. The compound was identified as lecanoric acid based on various NMR studies including DEPT, HETERO-COSY and HMBC experiments. Lecanoric acid inhibited human rheumatoid synovial PLA₂ activity with IC_(50) of 0.17 mM and also exhibited antitumor activity (ED_(50)=2.7μg/ml) against skin tumor cell line (LOX-IMVI).
